I recently had the privilege of working with Keith Ivy and California Patio on a new installation of patio furniture for our newly renovated commercial patio. Most salespeople are great in the showroom and there for you during the selection and purchase but become invisible at the end when you have the delivery of products. This was not the case with Keith, he was there all day from unloading the trucks, to laying out the furniture, setting over a hundred cushions and installing the umbrellas. He insured that all garbage was hauled away and the patio was left in perfect order. He was the last person to leave at the end of the day walking through with me on every detail of operation and care. There is a California Patio Clearance center in Palm Desert, Ca. It's behind Arizona Tile and the selection is good but Daniel was GREAT to work with. He knew his stock!!! And was able to locate a chair in the rafters that matched a set we were interested in. He was super helpful and friendly. We placed an order for furniture in NOVEMBER and still don't have it. We ordered a fire pit, large dining table, and swivel chairs and swing chair to sit around the fire pit. Plus a side serving table. We have only received the fire pit a couple weeks ago and continue to be told that it will be in by the end of the month. Then when the end of the month comes around, they tell us there has been a delay. I have been patient and understanding but this is ridiculous at this point. They told us it was due to a back order on the material, so we picked a DIFFERENT one just to be able to get our furniture faster, not because we changed our mind. I have continued to ask WHY can't we at least get the other furniture that is unrelated to the material back order ie: table, side table and fire pit. Finally they delivered the fire pit but still no table or side table. I would suggest buying your patio furniture from someone who has it in stock. This has been a terrible experience. read more

We shopped California Patio last spring when we desired more comfortable chairs for around our patio firepit. Didn't buy because we suffered a bit of sticker-shock. After shopping around, we realized their pricing is pretty much in line with many other outdoor furniture stores. We found California Patio to have a great selection of 'in stock' furniture of excellent quality. The salesperson was very helpful. California Patio is awesome! We walked in and spoke w Chris who immediately helped us w finding the umbrellas we needed for our scorching backyard seating areas! They had an umbrella delivered within 24 hours.Adolfo and Daniel were smiling and super friendly even though they were assembling our umbrella in 100 degree weather. I went into the California Patio location in La Quinta to look for an outdoor patio rug. I found a rug that I liked but was unsure if it would be a good match for the cushions on my patio furniture. The price on the Treasure Garden 8X10 rug was $217.00. Marissa told me they match any competitors price even on the internet and showed me their posted price match policy. The next day I returned with my cushion and selected a rug. While I went to get the car, Marissa told my husband the price tag on the rug of $217.00 was incorrect and that it was $257.00. Marissa refused to sell the rug to us for the advertised price and said that it was a mistake. We went to a competitor, Desert Patio, and bought the same patio rug for $217.00. read more

The showroom was beautiful and had choices in line with what we wanted, even though ours needed to be custom made. Not a problem and not a long wait! We recently purchased a home in La Quinta, CA and went to California Patio for all of our outside furniture. We had the BEST experience we have ever had at a retail store. Our salesperson, Marissa, was the reason that our experience was so good. She was very knowledgeable, personable, patient and just a delight to work with. Nothing rattled her.
