Beautiful high-end store. But shopping there is frustrating. If you're shopping for, say, a refrigerator, most of the high-end brands are scattered around the store so you can't compare them side by side - the store is so big that you have to ask where they are, by brand name. And when we asked the salesperson for something comparable to what we were looking at, hoping maybe for a brand we hadn't considered, they weren't very forthcoming - do you have Subzero? Do you have Kitchenaid? etc. If we couldn't think of a brand name off the top of our head, it wasn't suggested. Prices are not displayed on many appliances - we had to ask, and the salesperson had to go look it up each time. read more

He had some other previous customers come in but he handled it all well and didn't keep me waiting. I would absolutely go there again. We have gone to WDC a few times for a few different appliances. Normally we shop around but always end up at WDC and always find exactly what we are looking for. Alex, has helped us through the purchasing and the delivery of both a Side by Side refrigerator and a new Dishwasher. We purchased an LG refrigerator for just under ten thousand dollars about two months ago. The salesperson (C.C.) was excellent but once the unit was installed and stocked with food, we observed the doors to be noticeably misaligned. Despite numerous service calls rom both WDC and LG, the issue remained unresolved. An LG technician even advised there was nothing more he could do to fix the door. Two months later, both companies continue to drag their feet. WDC had advised that because we accepted delivery and the fridge had been in use ( even for just a few days) we were not entitled to a replacement or refund. LG has been equally unresponsive, seemingly hoping we'll just give up. UPDATE: We were just informed by WDC that as long as the refrigerator is functioning, we'll have to accept the crooked door. Unacceptable!! So much for the expensive five year warranty that we had also purchased. This is a terrible way to treat customers who have spent a significant amount of money on what has turned out to be substandard merchandise. Shame on both WDC and LG! I strongly recommend shopping elsewhere and avoiding LG entirely. read more

Knowing that smaller businesses have more difficulties than the box box stores, I always try to buy local because they seem to want to try harder to get and keep your business. WDC does not subscribe to this philosophy. The installer who arrived broke both of the water shut off valves under the sink that had just been accessed and assessed the day before by a plumber who was installing an air flow gap required for this install. The dishwasher itself is well off center, and the kick plate was never installed. I emailed Jennifer back, never received a response. Called the store to be told that she would be unavailable for the next few days. Was redirected to customer care, who never answered, but was directed by the phone message to email customer care. Forwarded all my emails to customer care with no response. Finally when I threatened legal action I was contacted. At this time, they have denied me the money for the plumber to return to be able to have water restored to the house again, have stated that if I take legal action they will not continue with the replacement of the kick plate or the centering of the dishwasher. As a disabled senior, the way they have treated me is abysmal and I can not in good conscience let them do this to anyone else. BUYER BEWARE!! read more

We wanted to shop locally and family owned business. Our salesperson CC was great but customer care, Lilly failed to answer phone or call back. It appeared her calls were being screened and towards the end wouldn't call back to help us deal with LG. At one point we received an auto text from LG with an appointment date we may be responsible for paying a service call. I contacted Lilly via text who denied setting up this appointment. But, LG said Lilly had contacted LG Andrea and had set up the appointment without telling us. Not sure why the denial. I have LG's chat text providing me this information. It would have been nice to have a call back from WDC, I even asked for a manager of customer care and was told she was unavailable. We are still working with the sagging 10k LG refrigerator door. LG sent their tech out who was unable to resolve the issue. My concern about a sagging door is air leakage and eventually overworking the compressor leading to other issues. LG eventually assigned the issue to one contact because we were getting swamped with multiple auto questions from different sources. Anyway, it would have been nice to have a follow up call asking us if there was anything WDC could assist us with. WDC no need to respond to this post because words are useless if there is no action behind it. We are now waiting for LG decision on replacing our refrigerator. read more

He quickly determined what I was looking for as we walked to the systems on display. We quickly narrowed in on a solution. Not pushy, Alex allowed me to bring wife back in to approve of colors and worked with me via email to finalize solution, along with delivery and installation. Don't let the glitzy showroom fool you. These people out to sell you appliances at any cost which I soon learned. Assured that the floor model was completely operable, they sold me a dishwasher that didn't contain the proper parts (even though I was assured it would be delivered with complete parts and manual). After it being installed by a licensed plumber, the dishwasher flooded my floor from a defective casing at the top of the dishwasher. Do your due diligence on the owners of the company as well which I didn't. read more

This negative review would have been avoided if the manager at WDC, Darlene, would have returned our phone calls, so we could have had the opportunity to share with her our experience. After leaving 2 separate voicemails for Darlene, and 2 separate messages for her through staff, we never received a courtesy call back, so this review is now available for all to see. In addition to sharing this Yelp review, our negative and very unpleasant experience at WDC will be shared with our friends, colleagues, realtors, designers, contractors, and will be published in our HOA quarterly newsletter distributed to over 100 homeowners as a non-recommended business. We spent over $18,000 at WDC on bathroom fixtures. BIG MISTAKE. From extraordinarily long product lead times to products not being available, to customer service not returning calls, to staff providing misinformation, to rude and unprofessional sales staff who forget to add essential accessories to plumbing orders....and then, forget to order them again, made our experience at WDC an absolute nightmare for us and our contractor. When placing our order, the delivery timeline for an integral $7,000 shower set, was estimated to be between 6-12 weeks. We agreed and noted that was fine since we ordered our products 2 months prior to our project start date. After repeated delivery date changes, we were told that this product is delayed because of "production issues" and would take an additional 2 months. We then cancelled this specific product and ordered it from Ferguson Rancho Mirage, and received it in 5 days, and at a more competitive price! Thank you Ferguson! Trying to keep our project moving forward, given the delay with the shower, set, our contractor shifted their focus to the bathtub only to find out our sales representatives forgot to order a key valve. Mistakes happen and we were told they would expedite shipping and that our contactor could pick it up in three business days and he should "just come in." When he arrived at WDC, the piece had not even been ordered, further delaying our project. When expressing our frustration to our sales representative, Robert, he said he took care of the order, and we would receive the piece "tomorrow." He added that "my number will no longer be available for you to call me", and Darlene would call us tomorrow." Of course, the piece arrived a full week later and we are still waiting on Darlene's call! Typical sales department, that is engaging and enthusiastic at the beginning and when spending close to $20,000, but can't be bothered with you when issues occur. "Guaranteed tomorrow," "out to lunch," "not available", "product delay," "someone will get right back to you," are all phrases heard multiple times at WDC. Shame on you WDC, especially management who did not even attempt to return our calls. What a pleasant experience. They assign a sales person when you enter but no hard sell at all-- just advice. You can find very high end appliances etc here but they also have very competitive pricing on many items. We just wanted a basic dishwasher and we found their selection excellent and pricing including install competitive with Lowe's , Best Buy and Home Depot. I cant say enough about Alex at WDC. He was very patient with us while we picked out appliances for our new kitchen. He made suggestions but was not pushy and listened to what was important to us. The rest of the employees there were very helpful as well. I had to move our delivery date and it wasn't an issue. My contractor wanted to pick up ONE piece early out of my entire order and they made that happen as well by having it delivered to the La Quinta location from Moor Park location. The customer service here is great and they have a showroom that I didn't want to leave because it was so pretty. I also had an issue with mail in rebates and they worked with me on that as well. The reason we walked in to this store was to see if it would be an easier process than ordering through a big box store and WDC didn't disappoint. We will definitely go back. read more

When I arrived, sales staff were responsive but didn't hover. I just wanted to look. I explained my needs to Jesse for a microwave wall oven combo. He answered my questions and shared his personal experience. He did not try to up sell me although i had looked at more expensive units. Kristof guided me through the paper work and provided me printed information. Matt, the manager, came over to meet me as I finalized my order. I am happy with my purchase and how I was treated. All three of these gentlemen were respectful, personable and very well-versed in all aspects of my desired item. My research showed WDC price to be competitive even though they charge for installation and haul away. I did purchase during a holiday sale. We purchased a new Convection Range from WDC which they typically don't keep in stock. Once it was delivered and installed, there were issues with it from day-one. However! Lilly at WDC jumped in and was an amazing help trying to work with the manufacturer to get them to fix it. One technician got it nearly working, but not fully. Lilly kept trying to get them back out, but no luck. Dante and Lilly both teamed up and not only got them to take it back, but also found us an Incredible GE Profile induction range to replace it quickly. I have been cooking with it for a couple of weeks now, and it's amazing. Due to Dante and Lilly's efforts, they just wouldn't give up trying to help, we also ordered the matching range hood as well. I can't say enough about them and C.C. as well, everyone there at WDC has been super helpful, pleasant and just nice folks. Terrible service, did not show up on scheduled day. No show, no call, no rescheduled appointment, just no show. Then I have to wait until 10am to talk to someone because they don't have anyone answering the phone until then. Took over 3 weeks to get appliance, when they finally showed up, they didn't install correctly and I had to have them come back out. There's no manager in this location, so no one takes responsibility. I paid over $12k for this appliance, I would expect better customer service. They simply don't have a reliable team. read more

The prices are just the same as Lowe's and Home Depot but at WDC you get one on one service you don't have to look for a salesperson . And the staff at wdc knows their stuff you go to Lowe's or equivalent , you ask a question and they never know the Answer . I liked the relaxed atmosphere when I purchased my dyer I sat down had some chocolates and they gave my son some coffee. I will never go anywhere else again . This place is great . The only thing (suggestion ) is they should have a warehouse closer with their stock so there's no waiting to get you item delivered . read more

James at WDC was so outstanding to work with. I was in a "pickle" as another unit that we had ordered (from another company) was taking way too long to arrive. James worked so hard to come up with alternatives for me and was so quick to get me information and answers. In the long run we decided to wait for the original product ordered...but, in the future, I won't work with anyone except WDC! We were remodeling a home we just purchased and needed all new appliances. We went to a local competitor who was so busy, the salesman didn't return our calls. We complained to the manager and got immediate help with purchasing a refrigerator. We were so unhappy with the way we were treated that we decided to try WDC. Our salesman James Dorris was amazing. Not only did he return our calls but he solved problems for us. "I don't think we can do that" was not in his vocabulary. In short he got the appliances we needed and delivered them before the other guys. So we got a refund from the other guys and bought the Subzero refrigerator from him.
