Turns out this own shop didn't even have my wedding ring. They charged me for a ring they didn't even have, and sent me a letter AGAIN to come and "extend" my loan for an item they don't even have to begin with. My ring was at a different pawn shop. This place is a joke, and the owners are a bunch off frauds working to rob you off your money. That's how they get by, by stealing money from people!!! I called and asked if this shop had a trumpet. Here it is, Saturday evening near 6pm. (It is needed immediately for a film prop.) Edgar answered the phone, and quite courteously said, "No, but try the apps - Letgo or Offerup." I did. I loaded both apps on my phone. Several minutes later I found a trumpet, used (not too worried about that, however) and ready for pickup. Talk about service! Let's just say I hope I don't need to pawn anything again.. I called a lot of pawnshops and visited 4, this is the last shop I'll ever go to! So, I went in with some gold and an older model Rolex and left w good money, compared to what the other 3 offered. I just got my item out after almost 3 months, and everything is in awesome condition, they even cleaned it up for me.. Super knowledgable and explained everything very well! Came here to try and sell my microphone that's never been used. It's easily worth between $150-$200 used and he tried to really offer me $50. Watched him scroll through every accurate price of my mic on ebay until he found one that was going for super low and tried to say that was it's value. made no sense. This establishment and it's online jewelry sales takes the very fullest of advantage of every person who walks in their doors or logs in to check their websites. The origins and authenticity of their items and business practices is dubious and highly questionable. The way this business stores the pawned items of their customers is extremely questionable. This place isn't "Rodeo Drive" but it's definitely not dirty. A lot of used stuff that keeps changing every time I go in there; laptops, iPods, tools, guitars, musical gear, & lots of jewelry & watches, stuff you expect to see at a pawn shop.
