I have been a client/patient at California Rehab in Ripon for quite sometime. I had a tear in my right rotator cuff that came about from a work injury. I was sent to this facility prior to having g surgery as well as after my surgery. The surgery I had was QUITE extensive! Was in A LOT of pain from it and my range of motion after surgery was next to nothing. The staff at California Rehab in Ripon have done a fantastic job getting my range of motion back. The main PT supervisor; Mark, he's great at evaluating and coming up with a plan of action/exercises for me to do at the facility as well as ways for me to do the same at home, on my own w/o the equipment that's available there. He also has an awesome personality. Very approachable, easy to communicate with and always willing to answer any questions their clients have. Pam, the therapist who worked with me 2X/wk is FANTASTIC! Also very approachable, very well spoken, explained what to do, how to and how not to do my exercises, very patient, kind and personable young lady who knows her stuff and does it well. Their assistant is Howard, can't forget Howard! He helps out with all the patients. He kept me on my toes listening to music as we did our routines, encouraging me to get that last stretch/pull/lift in while quizzing me on song names and who the artist of each song was that came on. He kept it professional and entertaining. Helped make the time go by faster. Then there is the front office manager, Barbara. Barbara is the Glue that keeps this facility going! She's the first person who patients will encounter when they enter the facility. I can guarantee you she will greet you with a smile and kind words. She is one of the kindest individuals that you could ever want to meet. Very welcoming, makes each patient feel "at home" when they enter their place of business. For a small facility, it's packed with professionalism and great personalities. My time there has come to an end and I am extremely grateful to everyone for all they have done for me. Considering how well they worked with me and got me from EXTREMELY DEPENDENT, to gaining back my independence, and also my observation of how well the staff treats other clients, I HIGHLY recommend California Rehab in Ripon, Ca. I chose California Rehabilitation to rehabilitate a shoulder injury that was corrected with surgery. I spoke with the receptionist, Barbra and she was very pleasant to deal with on the phone. There are several forms that need to be completed before your first appointment with the physical therapist. I looked at their website and found that all required forms are available to print. I printed everything out and completed it at home. This saved me from having to arrive 30 minutes before my first scheduled appointment. The waiting area is small with about 5 chairs. If you arrive on time, you won't be waiting long. Again, Barbra was a pleasure to deal with. She also assisted me with scheduling all of my appointments for the month. Mark was my physical therapist for my first day. He was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Mark does a good job of explaining all the exercises and the desired outcomes. I have also had the pleasure of having Pamela as my physical therapist and she is awesome. It is apparent that these people want to help you get better. The physical therapy room is not very big, but it is packed full of everything needed for rehabilitation. They have everything from a Pilates machine, stationary bicycle, 4 therapy beds and a multitude of other therapy equipment. I had my knee replaced and my surgeon set me up with California rehabilitation. My 1 day was 6 days after my surgery. Mark the DPT was so patient and understanding of what I was going through. He was very knowledgeable of surgery procedure I had and put my mind at ease telling me that everything is normal ( I was concerned with numbness and swelling) over the period of 2 1/2 months my knee is SO much better with less swelling and more mobility. Big shout out to Pamala who did a lot of the job getting my knee more mobile. And you can't leave without having a conversation with the front desk lady Barbara. My mom does physical therapy here after a total knee replacement and she absolutely loves going to therapy. The staff is fully supportive and friendly. My mom loves that they are able to push her to her limits without causing more injury, while also taking time to really focus on any aches and pains. Highly recommend to anyone needing physical therapy. California Rehab is the absolute best. read more

Louise has magic hands to make you feel much better and Barbara gets you in and seen when you need an appointment. From Barbara running the front desk and answering phone calls, to the awesome physical therapists Luis and Jordan, this is a class A1 rehabilitation facility. They are always very cordial and make you feel relaxed even though you go through tough exercises and treatment. They make it fun even though at times it is very painful. Knee replacement surgery was not easy, but in a few short weeks, they strengthened my legs and got me ready to go back to work. This is the very best place for Physical Therapy. My husband was unable to use his arm after having shingles and with the much help of Luis and Jordan, he is doing quite good now. I was blessed to have these great professional people, also. I really appreciate Luis and Jordan and their continued help and encouragement after reverse shoulder replacement surgery. I have been to many rehabs (I have 4 other joint replacements and have had severe sepsis) and THIS is the very best !!!!!
