Wow! Cindy did such an amazing job on my gel manicure and pedicure! I found this place through a Groupon for a $20 gel manicure and made a reservation the day before. When I got there I decided to get a pedicure too which was an additional $25 on top of the Groupon. The ladies that worked there were so kind, friendly, and welcoming. They set you up in massage like chairs and made sure I was comfortable by giving me pillows for my back and to rest my hands on. Cindy took her time on my pedicure, making sure to wait a little longer so that it completely dried. My feet felt so soft after!! For the gel manicure, she kept checking up on me to make sure it was okay and gave me ample time to pick my color. She even gave me 3 coats of polish instead of 2 because the color I chose was light and wouldn't be opaque if she only did 2. Once the mani was done, she gave me a little hand massage with oil which was nice. Warmly greeted when I walked in. Plenty of availability at 11:00a. LiLi did an 10/10 job, took her time, and was so kind. She left no cuticle uncut and cleaned up my nails beautifully. Update 11/10/19 : got my nails redone literally in 2 weeks since my first time. The gel held up well until a few days ago where it started to crack and peel, someone did say it looks like a thin layer of gel so I'm not sure if it matters. Went back to the same person to do my gel and I definitely feel like she put less care this time with the paint job as it didn't looks like last time around the cuticles. I'm still happy with them and this time, no nicks! I couldn't help but review them right away cause I'm so happy with them! Came here with a Groupon and they were able to get me the same day(I had to fly the next day, oops!) and I was also late (what an ass right) they were accommodating and started on my gel removal. The girl who did the removal may be new as she was a bit rough with the filing that ended up with some nicks. I'm going to assume it's the boss lady who did my nails but she's the older one with glasses. Super sweet. I could tell she was teaching the new girl how to do polishing and she kept apologizing to me cause she thought I was in a rush (but I was late. It's ME who is sorry!!) and tbh, if she was talking shit, who cares, my nails were ugly and it doesn't hurt my feelings, but she wasn't cause she was showing the girl how to do the brushing and cutting. I do notice the care she took in making sure my nail bed was smooth and even as I have ridges and she helped curved the bottom of my bed to match the rest of my nail bed. The details. The polishing is standard. I don't think there is a magical way of doing it. Everything looks even in the coats but I have to say, she really nailed the precision in the polish, it's been a long time since I seen a near perfect curve following my cuticles. I also have a messed up finger where my nail is split and I don't like it and people don't know how to work with it but she asked if it's okay to slim it down and after polish and everything, it's looks normal that I want to cry of joy! Cash is always prefer and she waited for Me as I went to Chase down a few blocks to come and pay her in cash. Who really wants to pay $3 for the gel removal with a card I will be coming back!!! So I tried this place a couple days ago with a Groupon. The ladies all seem pretty nice and I liked that I could get a same day appointment. I did not receive a hand massage like others did on some reviews I read and of which is the norm for most nail salons. I got a few nicks on my gel manicure of which some medicine was splashed on it. So far so good....I'm not sure if the gal seemed rushed because I was a Groupon because I noticed another client across the way getting deep leg massages for the whole time I was there 30-45mins. and a second gal working on her nails. I even heard the client thanking them for spending so much time on her. Maybe she's a regular or something. So, maybe will try again, don't know. There's so many other places to choose from. I would have given more stars if not for the other nicks I noticed the next day. Hopefully no infections will come of them as I'm trying to keep clean and put Polyspirin with a bandaids on the nicked area.. totaling 4. Came on a Saturday with a friend after she discovered their Groupon - really glad I did! Would definitely recommend making an appointment as they get really busy on weekends and peak hours. Jenny did my nails and two weeks later they still look amazing - I got gel based off the Groupon and added design ($15) and tip. I had a vague idea of what I wanted but Jenny suggested tweaks and colors based off my nail shape which was greatly appreciated. She's also super meticulous while with a steady hand - triple checked all areas of my fingers. My thumbs are a bit bumpy but that's really an issue with my thumbs and not the nail polish application. I've had a previous gel experience where the top coat cracked after 3 days, didn't happen with Jenny! The one slight con is that the layout can make it feel slightly cramped/crowded. Mani was efficient but couldn't gossip with my friend much. Would definitely recommend Jenny - she only works a few days a week at this salon so be sure to check if you're requesting her. read more

I'm kind of hesitant to post my review... what if I show up here and I can't get in??? Long story short I've been seeing the same nail technicians for about 10 years... And sadly lately things have not gone well. In fact they went so poorly that two of my nails had fungus... I won't mention their name publicly because I'm not that rude. Yesterday when I was told to come back two hours later after waiting a little bit to see my usual folks I decided to wander down the street and take a chance on a different salon. And I found this place. Wendy, the owner was amazing! She took off my acrylic nails the right way meaning she took her time and soaked them first so the nails were not going to be more damaged than they already were. Unfortunately we had to cut the nails all the way down and start all over but she did such an amazing job putting on a full set of nails with the magic dip polish and was so much fun to actually talk to and hang out with that I've already warned her that she'll never be able to get rid of me! A friend recommended this place as she's been going there a few times now and liked one of the girls there, says she does a good job and is also very affordable ($20 gel manicure). I am usually skeptical when it comes to how cheap it is but hey if my friend raves about it, might as well give it a try. Friend called in advance to make an appointment, sat down the minute we arrived and a older lady (probably in her mid 50's) came and asked us to pick some colors for our manicure and pedicure. At first the lady seemed very gentle but as she was removing the old pedicure, she started to get more rough. So rough that I notice when she was using some of the alcohol to wipe off the remaining polish, I felt a burning sensation... Long story short, she basically scrapped a lot of my skin while she was removing my old polish from my toes. I think I ended up having a stinging feeling every time I run my feet in the water. As for the manicure, she did an ok job only. Was not something I would rave about, especially having such an awful experience with the pedicure. Overall I would not go back. Regardless of how cheap it was, it was not worth the pain I had to endure. Especially when it took about 1.5 weeks for my toes to be fully recovered. Would not recommend.... read more
