I walked into Cozy Nail Spa with a friend around 1pm with a friend and there was nobody else there at the time. We were both looking for a gel manicure and were quickly seated and started looking through the color options. It's definitely cozy, and despite being a small space it wasn't clutterred - everything was well organized, and the space felt open, clean and relaxing. We were offered mugs of hot tea, which were greatly appreciated given the cold weather. I opted for a cats eye gel polish, and the staff were kind enough to test it over a base color upon my request for me to see as well. They were very accommodating, thorough and professional, and I could tell they put a lot of care into their work. They have OPI, Honey Phan, Essie, CND, Zola, etc. extensive selection and polish is new, not leftovers and coagulated of a bygone era of COVID. Great ambiance, relaxing and excellent location. Grab a coffee and lunch around the corner and relax, de- stress for a cozy manicure and pedicure. They're reasonably priced for the great service they offer. With my nails, maybe it's dry skin, but gel always started peeling within a week. I told Jadice and she was able to remedy that with the base coat, plus I don't use hot water anymore. This salon is legit and so happy I found them. I tried Gel X extensions for the first time, to test out for my wedding in June. My nails are always short because they break so easily. But for photo sake, I needed to make sure to have lovely pretty nails. I didn't want my nails to look so fake, over done, sharp pointed...wanted a more natural look. I wish I didn't need to write this review but after my last experience, I feel it's necessary. I've gone for a gel manicure at least 6 times now. The first few times, I was fully impressed. Clean manicure that lasted longer than expected. Unfortunately, the last two times were below satisfactory, especially the last one. I got a gel manicure on Sunday and by Tuesday, the polish from 2 of my fingers fully popped off - as though it was a press-on nail. Very strange! As time went on, another fell off. This should not happen at all, but definitely not within 2-3 days following a gel manicure. While close to my house, I unfortunately will not return and would not recommend the salon to my neighbors. read more

They did my nails and the next day the first layer peeled off as I was doing laundry. So my red glitter nail polish got all over my expensive white linen sheets. I called to let them know about the situation and the guy said he would provide me with their insurance information to cover the cost of replacing my sheets. When I came in to get my nails fixed, I asked for the insurance information since the guy on the phone said he would give me this info and the lady in the shop said she would not give me the insurance information. We had seen this place under construction while waiting in line for Arizemendi back in late 2023. They are open now. I had not had a gel manicure since last November and just left them to their own devices. They looked terrible. Found this spot had opened and booked an appointment. Jadice is very nice and welcoming. I had her for my manicure. She was very meticulous throughout the process which impressed me as I didn't feel like a number or someone holding up the next customer to be seen. So no rush but great attention to detail. My husband accompanied me and they were able to squeeze him in with my appointment. We found parking to be easy since the farmer's market ended and the lot offers free parking on Sunday just like all parking meters. Pricing is just right for men's gel manicure where we just get clear color with an extra shiny finish. $38. I think I usually pay $45 elsewhere. read more

I was hoping this nail salon would be a nice find....wrong. Do go here if you want to experience a bad pedicure. I was so disappointed when I got home from the salon and could really look at it more closely. Plus, when the woman was clipping my nails she got my skin (bleeding) and so hopefully I won't get any infection. The woman who may have been the manager did my nails and didn't say anything to me. All of the nail techs are nice and know their stuff. My first manicure (no gel) lasted over a week. Just had a deluxe mani-pedi with Tiffany & Yan and it was divine. She used the drill multiple times before even letting the layers come off with acetone, which is pretty harsh on the nails. She nicked my fingers a few times with the drill because she was doing it too fast. The manicure was also below average - the polish is uneven and not done professionally.
