I will NEVER come back here! The first appointment I made was for a pedi, acrylic nails and waxing: -Pedi was ok. I felt like the technician rushed through it and several of my toe nails weren't cut straight! When she put my flip flops on she smeared the nail polish and seemed irked like I did it and then shoved my flip flop so hard onto my feet that it actually hurt between my toes! She tried to "fix it" but it looked so sloppy and was not smooth that i asked her NICELY to remove it and reapply and then she looked at me with an attitude and then spoke in her language to the another technician that was doing my nails which was obviously about me and I found that really disrespectful and rude! -My acrylic nails were being applied while my pedi was being done. Several of the nails were glued on crooked and when I brought that to her attention she said she would fix them when filing them. OK didn't seem like a good way to repair that issue but ok, maybe she knows best! WELLLL SHE DIDN'T While filing them I told her they were not straight and instead of at least acknowledging it, she just grabbed my hand tighter and spoke to the pedicure technician in her language which again was about me and again very disrespectful and rude. -Got rushed in the back by the nail technician for waxing and she did such a bad job that I ended up having to shave some areas when I got home! I EVEN GAVE THEM ANOTHER SHOT! I made an appointment for a fill in for my acrylic nails and got the same technician as before. I arrive on time only to find out that the technician was JUST starting on someone elses nails. OK why bother to make an appointment with me. So I waited patiently for 45 minutes until she was done. While she was doing the other persons nails she kept nicking her with the drill because she seemed rushed and distracted about all the other people that arrived for some sort of nail service. The person asked her to stop nicking her with the drill and she spoke to another technician in her language about the person and again RUDE! By the time she got to me she was overly distracted and rushed through my nails. When she started the drill she kept drilling down on my natural nails an burning me! I quickly drew back my hand and she apologized but then continued to do it like 5 more times. I POLITELY asked her if she could focus on my nails because she was really hurting me and once again as expected she spoke to another technician in her language like I was being a pain in the ass when she was the one hurting me and doing a BAD job! I will never go back! I tried to give them a chance thinking it was an off day the first time and they were just busy but it happened the second time too. Stop over booking and then rushing through people and treating them like they are a problem when they are paying for good service. Also speaking in another language about your customers after they ask you to do something better or stop hurting them or to focus is RUDE!! read more

Kind and swift service. Accepts walk ins. Relaxing spot and appreciate there's no music, just calm and quiet. I asked for a mani pedi and got this stunning chrome iridescent effect (see pics) which turned out so pretty! Just an extra $15. To be honest I'm not 100% satisfied with my pedicure. I had called in advance to inquire about the price of a pedicure and they said it was $35. When I arrived I mentioned I wanted a French pedicure. The nail technician didn't tell me until they were completely done with my nails that French pedicures cost $45 since it's more expensive. I felt like she could have been more upfront about the price when I first requested a French pedicure upon arrival. I'm not blown away by the look of my nails. I felt like it could've been done better with more attention to detail. read more

BEWARE:: If you want a nail infection that requires antibiotics please go here to get mediocre service! Sure- they always have a seat available-- because this filthy place has no customers. The prices are too high for very low quality work. Workers train on your bloody fingers and toes. They use unclean utensils and there is no water in sight. Tammy "the owner" is a liar who will do Anything to get your money. Hopefully the cosmetology board will put them out of business soon. Tammy is dangerous. Unclean. Unclean!! Since moving out here, I'm always trying different salons that do a solid, good quality & reasonable priced gel manicure. I needed a new set for the holidays and came across Green Spa, their reviews looked good, and it was a plus that they also take Apple Pay! The ladies were so sweet, Tina did my gel set and helped me pick out a nice shade of red, I loved it. And all for $40 (including gel removal), it was a great price for me. Probably the worst nail job done for gel mani . First off , the lady who did my nail is not even able to get the nail straight despite of telling her that they are not even few times. She did such a messy job applying the color that it looks even worse that before . Not to mention how painfully she filed the nail, she tried to file around the nails to get rid of the mess she made which was so painful . I for sure won't coming back here again . read more

I walk by this spot all the time on the way home from work and have been looking for an excuse to try them out because they always look busy (good sign for a nail salon) and because of the shining reviews on Yelp. Well, prior to starting my most recent vacation, my mom came to visit and I decided to treat her (and me) to gel pedicures. I'm so glad we came here because we were taken great care of ! Gel pedicures are $40 and include a foot soak, foot massage with a hot stone, and then a paraffin wax treatment at the end. The ladies were very sweet and did quick but thorough work. My nails look good, no complaints there. That being said, they were wayyyy too pushy about selling something I repeatedly said I didn't want. I was getting really tired of saying "no thank you". She was also very rough with my hands. At one point, I flinched because she filed/buffed so hard that she drew blood - and her reaction to me flinching like a knee jerk reaction was "oh haha you're so sensitive". Lady I literally have blood on my cuticles. I had to ask her three times to put alcohol on it because I'm not bout to get an infection at a nail salon, she kept saying "later". Idk why she was rushing the manicure in the first place-- the place was empty except for my friend and I. Cherry on top of all this is that my gel x extensions started to fall off before the end of the week. read more

With so many nail salons in the area, it took me over a year of living in the Inner Sunset to make my way over to Green Spa & Nail. Compared to other local spots, this place is very open, clean, and accommodating for walk-in appointments. There were definitely a lot of regulars there! I originally came in for a gel manicure ($32) but opted for a French gel manicure ($38) since I couldn't decide on a color. It took about 30 minutes once everything got started, I'd say everything was pretty quick and efficient. My only concern (that I also saw in some other reviews) is the really harsh/strong nail filing! My finger was cut and started bleeding from being filed (see photo). As far as how well the nails hold up, we'll see in the upcoming week! read more

Through all the changes, my rating and loyalty remains. I can even walk across the street from where I currently live to get waxed instead of driving across the Bay Bridge and halfway across the city to get to Victoria's, but I still prefer Dao! Dao's efficiency, excellent work, affordable prices, and sweet, chatty demeanor keep me coming back. Although my first Brazilian electrolysis session was over 7 years ago, I have only booked/been able to tolerate 30 minute sessions, 1-3x per year. Certain areas of the body have more stubborn hair that requires more sessions, and Dao is very upfront about all of this. A few weeks after each session I notice less and less hair regrowing; there are certain areas where hair has never come back, and the areas that she continues to work on gets smaller and smaller. I look forward to my next session with Dao and I'm thinking I will ask her health/beauty tips, because she doesn't look a day older than the first day I met her!

For context, I only come a few times a year for special occasions or events, but all customers should be treated the same... The nail tech assigned to me didn't even say hello, yet fawned over the "regulars." The actual pedicure was sloppy and unprofessional. The attached photo speaks for itself--uneven shape, sloppy paint job, and a small lint on the right big toe. When I politely asked the nail tech to fix it, she rudely said "I know!" But didn't even fix it in the end. In addition, she did not cap the free edges and the next day, the nail polish chipped on a few nails (not pictured).
