I was really disappointed with my experience. I got a Gel-X set, and every single nail came off within one week. I reached out to the salon to let them know what happened and hoped they would respond or offer a resolution, but I never received a reply. Gel-X should typically last much longer than a week, so this was very frustrating. Based on my experience with both the quality of the service and the lack of customer support, I can't recommend this salon. read more

I tried this place twice and honestly wanted it to be my new nail spot, but there's no way. They use the Dremel so aggressively that my cuticles bleed for at least a week after my nails are done. I don't know if it's because they move so quickly or they're just not paying attention, but honestly, it isn't worth it. Add to that the poor attitude. Ask any question and you'll be met with complete silence or laughter. There are too many nail salons in the city to suffer silently at this one. read more

The salon is very clean and the staff is polite/kind. They do a good job but I am really particular about my nails. The best way I can describe this nail salon is they do very modest nails. For my pedicure they cut down my toes and rounded them out without asking what shape I wanted. For my hands the design is cute but same thing I think the edges could have been sharper for square shape. For gel French tip pedi + gel x + design = $160. read more

Favorite nail salon in the city. I've been coming here for over a year and every single time has been an excellent experience. They take turns on your nails but each nail tech has great attention to detail and very thorough. These ladies are always very caring and kind. Really impressed with their manicure! Got the shellac for an affordable price, had a great experience at their salon with attention to detail around my cuticles and a beautiful polish. They have hundreds (yes hundreds!) of color options as well as nail art if you're interested. Technicians were friendly and offered water or tea as well. Super relaxing vibe and clean facilities. Ive given this place a chance 3 times now because of convenience but this last time, they were very rude, bad customer service and impatient. As soon as I asked for something, they started talking behind my back. On top of that, it was an expensive service and they overly charge. I will never come back here again. read more

Date: Tuesday, December 17th, 2024 Appointment Time: 5pm Service & Price: Basic Manicure ($26) & Gel Pedicure ($55) = $81 Appointment Made: via their website the day prior I was going to a beachy vacation and in desperate need of a mani pedi. Did some yelping and found Milan SF. Decided to give them a try. I had booked thru the site a Basic Combo ($58) & Add On Gel ($20) = $78 since I got absolutely no polish or anything on my mani. But I think they broke down the charges per the services above. It was only a $3 diff, so I didn't say anything. I normally get basic pedicures since I want to be able to remove the polish easily when I want to. But I was going out after this, so I decided to get gel. I picked a pretty pink color called On A Whim. It looked great when I left, tho it is a little lumpy looking now. Not sure if that's due to time or if it was kinda lumpy to begin with and is just getting more textured. Otherwise, it's still holding up and looks good. The manicure was nice since I don't know how to do my cuticles and such. I can't get polish without messing it up and I didn't want to deal with gel, so I just left them bare. Milan was prompt with my appointment time. When you walk in, you check on their tablet. Afterwards they directed me to a chair and we got started. I don't believe they take CCs as I was asked to venmo. I did have enough cash for tip on me, so I tipped in cash. Glad I discovered a new mani pedi spot close to my house. my first and last visit . Very rude and impatient . I went with my friend and they were giving her an attitude when she requested add ons or a color change . Also they cut my friend cuticle skin area because they were rushing .Don't recommend this place, I'm sure there are plenty of other nails salons that are more welcoming. read more

My favorite salon!! Super kind and skilled staff. It's been a week and a half since i got my deluxe gel mani pedi and my cuticles still look amazing. My ombré nails turned out SO pretty. There were 3 techs working on me at one point and it felt like i was a princess lol. They will make sure you are taken care of even as a walk in client. I also got my underarms, upper lip and brows waxed and she took her time to make sure everything was on point. They played acoustic covers of pop songs at the time. I was able to find residential parking 2 blocks away. I wish I lived closer! read more

Walked in and asked for a manicure. All I needed were the cuticles to be cleaned, but the manicurist ended up cutting off too much and made one of my fingers bleed. She then took the nail clipper and tore off an entire piece of nail from the side of my thumb! I pulled my hand away and asked for a napkin to wipe the blood. Instead, she causes more pain by spraying my bleeding fingers with pure rubbing alcohol!!! Adding more insult to injury, she then starts laughing as I'm told to pay $26 cash! I threw a 20 at her and walked out. It's one thing to make a minor mistake. But, to cause serious bleeding and then laugh about it, you're just lucky that I even paid you at all. Oh, and be careful with their "check-in", which requires you to give them your phone number and email. They make you think it's about selecting the service and earning points when it's really meant for spam marketing. read more

Best salon in the Richmond for gel manicures, gelx/extensions, and nail art that I've tried! I also have gone to Miracle Spa and The Nail Room before and while they do a decent job, they are always crowded and not always very attentive. Been here twice for gel manis (once with gel extensions and once for a fill) and once for a regular pedicure. There are 3 really nice nail techs who work here and every time I've been all 3 have worked on me simultaneously. They're all good at different things so they seem to play to their strengths. They are really amazing at copying nail art designs from photos and helping with color selection! I love how detail-oriented and meticulous they are. They do take a little longer than I'm used to but in a good way. I never feel like they're rushing or trying to get me out quickly to make space for a new customer. The pedicure was one of the most thorough and relaxing that I've ever had for a "regular" pedicure. Will definitely be coming back! read more

Wonderful individuals!! They're very attentive and flexible on the asks I specifically had (most related to styles, colors, etc). Haven't had a pedicure and manicure (gel) in a verrrrrrry long time. The auntie that assisted in my pedicure was firm but not harsh - she gave clear and decisive directions. Please keep in mind there was minimal language barriers - nothing difficult. The younger lady that assisted in my gel manicure was a bit more firm in handling my hands - I wasn't fuss. (Just an observation between the auntie and her). The younger lady (I didn't catch any names) was VERY focused on her actions (again appreciate the details). Overall great experience!! Would absolutely recommend that you try if you're looking for a new place. I believe reservations are needed (post COVID but please correct me if I'm wrong). read more

YES! The nail place I've been searching for! First, gorgeous mani/ pedi! Secondly it's a clean, new, beautiful shop with brand new massage chairs and very friendly staff. My favorite part though was the massage which came as part of the mani/pedi and didn't cost extra; the longest arm/leg massage ever, complete with hot stones at the end! Van scrubbed my legs with the exfoliant so well; truly a pampering mani/pedi. Lastly, it was all done in just under an hour! Total bonus, I hate it when getting my nails done takes over an hour. They were both super detail oriented and extremely thorough - and also very helpful in helping me pick the color of gel that I wanted! Another bonus is that parking is right in front and widely available if you go on a Monday afternoon like I did. What an amazing fined while running an errand at the bank. This is my second time here in 2 weeks. I came here 2 weeks ago randomly to get gel nails on the opening day. To my surprise they were giving 20% off for the day. How could I resist?! The technician did an amazing job with my French gel names. I knew by her meticulous detail to my nails that this was my new go to nail salon. I got so many compliments from my nails. I am back today for a pedicure and no surprise another amazing job. Because of covid I was reluctant to get my nails done in the past. This place is so clean and the technicians do such amazing work with my nails. I will be back again for sure on a regular basis.
