On Monday May 13th my home was broken into. I was shocked to find that my surveillance cameras didn't pick any footage up. To my discovery in looking into it further, the technician who came to install my cameras failed to let me know the other side of my home was not secured with a camera. Now I understand that a certain plan only came with 2 devices but AS THE PROFESSIONAL- it is THEIR JOB to inform me a part of my home was still not secured. I wouldn't have cared if the equipment costed me extra- I'm a client paying for SECURITY. But no it was never brought to my attention so that's why when my home was broken into, I couldn't find any activity. The robber knew that the side of the home was compromised so they broke my fence and then smashed my glass door that led to my master bedroom from the backyard. So the alarm also never went off since no doors or windows were open. So I call the California Smart Home Pro to complain about the negligence of the installer and they proceed to tell me they can come over to install my camera for "only $299" are you kidding me? Tell me that the day you came to secure my home! They failed to do so the first time and now want me to pay them? This is on you not informing the first time. I wouldn't have an issue paying for it had you told me it was an add on the same day you came to install it. But you didn't and I never had the awareness there was a part of my home not secured. You expect me to happily pay you? Then I'm locked in for 2 years when I now might want to move and break my lease early. Yes the transfer of their service and equipment is free but you really think I want to be a client with them any longer knowing they messed up the first time? To where this could've been avoided?! No thanks. To top it off I called them on Tues the morning after the break in and had someone say they would call me back that day. I reached out again yesterday and they never called back. Now it's 2 days after I initially spoke to them and they still gave me the same whack ass answer. To pay them for equipment when they literally didn't get it done properly the first time. I would've paid it that day they came but since they did ask me to do it the first time they were here, it should be on them to make it right. I literally just got robbed and now ADT is robbing me too lol... ain't that something? ADT lost my trust and business. REVIEW AFTER SPEAKING TO NATALIE... Just got off the phone with Natalie who called to "address my concerns" which in her language means to argue with the client and basically says that they aren't there to upsell clients if they needed more cameras to secure the home. Since this "special" they run only comes with two. Natalie- you're in sales... that IS your opportunity to make more money for the company and offer good service. Her response to me asking her why she didn't upsell me on an extra camera for the side of my home that was broken into was "it's predatory". Really? Is it predatory to sell me something that I came to you for?? Or is it predatory to leave a part of my home wide open for an actual predator to think it's a perfect opportunity to break into my home unnoticed?! It's wild to think someone in sales would even give that kind of response. Wow. I'm shook lol... and here's another screenshot of someone else's review complaining about Natalie. Smh... My realtor referred me to California Smart Home Pro as part of a promotion for being a new homeowner. The Installation and the equipment were free, but required that I leave a yelp review and lock in to a two year contract. The representative, Reina, was persistent (in a good way) and was very responsive to my scheduling needs. We had to reschedule the initial installation appointment because the technician, Mario wasn't able to make it within the window provided, but was able to get me in first thing the following morning. Mario was friendly and efficient. He explained how the system worked and made sure I understood how to use it. Overall it was a great deal, and I'm pleased with my service. The one complaint I have is that sometimes I would receive 2-3 back to back calls, which felt a little excessive. read more

I had an amazing experience working with California Smart Home Pro right from the discussion, getting a wonderful deal on smart home devices and the right integration with ADT. Reina was amazing and very patient in describing the entire deal/package along with explaining about each one of the sensors, glass breaking sensors, motion sensors, cameras and how well it integrates with ADT. We discussed in length about the placement and how many sensors I need to protect our home where we recently moved in and in the end emerged successful. She was spot on for the follow-ups and ensuring they can make it work for both of us. At the end I would highly recommend them in providing your ADT security solution.
