We decided to go with Water Purifaciions Systems due to their quick response, great communication, past reviews, workmanship, and their competitive pricing. On the day of install, Constantine and his team arrived when they said they would. Their work was efficient, clean, and custom. We did encounter one issue, but they rolled with it and resolved the issue with no problems. They cleaned up after themselves and went over the system in detail with us. They were patient and answered all our questions. I would definitely recommend Water Purification Systems for your water treatment needs here in San Diego County. Recently, I woke up in the middle of the night to find no water running in my house -- a total shock. (To be clear, this was not WPS's fault.) First thing in the morning, I called them in a panic. They answered promptly, walked me through how to get the water back on, and came out the very next day for maintenance. This review is for their continued care and stellar service over the years. I've had the pleasure of working with Eugene at WPS, and he is consistently professional, respectful, and incredibly competent. He explained that a power outage can disrupt the system's timing, and he patiently taught me how to adjust it so this doesn't happen again. Eugene is thorough, kind, and always delivers top-tier service. I just want to say again how much I recommend this company -- they truly go above and beyond.

I had been a customer of Sierra Springs for years before the company (like pretty much every other…read morewater brand) was bought out by Primo. Before this buyout, I was very happy with my service. My delivery driver used to do a one-for-one exchange. In other words, if I had two empties, he would leave two full bottles, even though my plan officially called for four bottles on hand. To me, this is just common sense. When Primo took over, my water brand changed to Sparkletts, but my four-bottle "on-hand" agreement remained in effect. The problem is that if we have only consumed two of those four bottles, leaving two empties when delivery arrives, they still leave four new bottles. As a result, I now have six bottles on hand. On this last delivery date, I left a note on one of the empty bottles, but the driver ignored it and left four anyway. There have been other times when they were late on delivery, so we didn't have any water on hand. Then came the bill. We were charged for a case of 1-liter bottles that we didn't even order. When I called to see if we could arrange a one-for-one delivery plan, I found out that Primo outsources its customer service. You are usually talking to someone in India, and one time I'm pretty sure the service representative was in Somalia. It is almost impossible to convey your needs and communicate effectively with them. Long story short, they are not willing to adjust the plan to just replace the empty bottles. Like I said, almost every brand now is owned by Primo--same water, different bottles. I'm going to take a look at Culligan instead.

David, the delivery person, is fantastic--friendly, reliable, and always goes above and beyond by bringing the bottles inside. However, the frustration with their water coolers has pushed me to the brink. I'm now on my third water cooler, which I've been renting for years. Honestly, with the ongoing rental charges, I probably could've bought several coolers by now. Recently, I requested a replacement for my malfunctioning cooler, only to have yet another refurbished unit delivered. And as usual, it was in poor condition. White particles came out of the water, and I had to waste almost a gallon of water just to flush the system. When I reached out to request a brand new cooler, I was told none were in stock and they only had refurbished coolers. This has been a recurring issue, and I've had enough. While their water is great, their rental coolers are absolutely subpar, and their inability to resolve the issue is beyond frustrating. If you like Sparkletts water, fine--but I strongly recommend buying your own cooler elsewhere. Their rental coolers are simply not worth the hassle.

I got in touch with Jaye at All Cities Water Treatment and he helped walk me through everything I needed to know about my water and how to treat it. He candidly answered some of the questions I had along with explaining the different options they offer but never tried to sell me on anything I didn't need. Jaye let me know that once I have a system it's very easy to add things on if I want. Jaye came out to my home for a consultation and to look at the plumbing. He drafted up a plan for the drainage of our new system and we got on the schedule for install the following week. The estimate was extremely fair compared to some others I had received. Eddie arrived promptly and did an amazing job with the install, replacing a failing valve, tucking and hiding piping for the drain. He was super knowledgeable on the system and walked me through the basics of what I needed to do. We are already starting to feel and see that the water is softer and cleaner. I will be recommending All Cities Water Treatment to anyone who is curious about water treatment!

We had All Cities Water replace a Puragain water filter system that we had installed in 2022. The…read moreoriginal system did not address the hard water issue that we have been having and it continually clogged up, requiring routine (expensive) maintenance to replace the filters. All Cities did an excellent job of explaining the options and going through how a salt-based hybrid softener system would provide the water quality we were hoping to achieve. I asked a ton of questions, all of which were quickly and thoroughly answered. There was no attempt to upsell us or talk us into anything. It was a very low-pressure engagement that made everything much simpler. We ended up going with a hybrid salt system that uses carbon and sodium chloride to condition the water (it can also use potassium chloride but the cost of that is prohibitive at this time). The installation went very smoothly. We were told it would take about 4 hours to remove the old system, install the new one and run a drain line across the garage to the sink. That is almost exactly what it took and the installer was very professional and easy-going. We are very pleased with the system thus far and I would highly recommend All Cities Water Treatment as a great option for anyone interested.

Pamela at California Sub-Meters has been a miracle worker for me! My ADU was recently completed and my contractor put the wrong water sub-meter on. Pamela was able to obtain the correct meter and also recommended a great plumber to do the installation. Time was of the essence since I had a tenant moving in. The sub-meter was installed within a week! And at a great price! Brent at California Sub-Meters called to educate me on how to read the meter in order to bill my tenant. I'm happy to be a part of the water sub-meter community! Wow! What a huge difference form dealing with the water utility company when I lived in San Diego. Thank God I don't have to deal with that utility company anymore. Here is this condo complex our HOA uses California Sub-Meters for the water utility. My bill is much lower and customer service is wonderful. I hated the water utility company in San Diego. What a difference dealing with normal friendly people in customer service. Today, November 17 2020 I recieved a follow up call from a representative from CA Submeters. I went on line to pay my water bill on 15 November 2020 and the system charged me twice. Without delay Aixa went the extra mile 2 ensure that the incorrect charge was reversed and not charged as a double payment. Just switched over to a water sub-meter service and love it! I have lived in these condos for seven years and the HOA switched over to a water submetering system two months ago. My last water bill was much lower than previous months. Any time I can pay less for utilities I am happy. Our water submeter service is through California Sub-Meters. He is knowledgeable and professional. Customer service is something that is becoming less of a thing nowadays but Chad has been great, very down to earth and eager to help. Despite not moving forward with services/decisions in the past, Chad never made us feel like we were bothering him. As far as Cross Country Mortgage, unlike many of the other negative reviews, I have not had any issues up to this point. I actually feel like their website and customer service is more robust unlike other companies I've dealt with.

Communication has been one of the biggest issues. Messages and concerns often go unanswered, and when responses are received, they can take weeks. Homeowners should not have to repeatedly follow up just to receive basic information or updates regarding concerns affecting their community. When I finally do get it, it's usually condescending. Yes. I have also found interactions with management to be less than helpful. On several occasions, I felt that legitimate homeowner concerns were dismissed rather than addressed in a professional and constructive manner. What is most concerning is the overall condition of the community. In my opinion, the neighborhood looks worse today than it did when I first moved in. There are ongoing issues with property maintenance, landscaping, common area appearance, and enforcement of community standards. These concerns have been raised repeatedly, yet meaningful improvements have been difficult to see. I have reviewed the Association's financial reports, and as a homeowner, I struggle to reconcile the level of spending with the condition of the community. Thank you Homeowners pay significant dues and deserve to see those investments reflected in the appearance, maintenance, safety, and overall quality of the neighborhood. There have also been long-standing concerns regarding speeding, stop-sign violations, security effectiveness, and unauthorized use of community amenities. While these issues have been discussed over time, communication regarding solutions and progress has been limited. I believe homeowners deserve responsive management, transparency, accountability, and a clear commitment to maintaining and improving the community. Unfortunately, that has not been my experience.. they need to do better but I'm not sure they have the ability to do so and looking at the reviews on this page I don't think they seem to care

Home warranty co found that irresponsible so cancelled the contract, and sent us a new plumber that only had 2 stars... that firm came within 6 hours, were super polite, and fixed the leak quickly. Don't believe all the reviews you see on here is the lesson... and don't wait for call backs from firms that don't want your business.

If you're thinking about hiring Christati Plumbing, think again…read more I reached out via Yelp to Christati Plumbing because they (and I) are located in Valley Center. I always like to hire local/support small businesses when I can. Christian responded quickly, and we were able to set up an appointment for between 10am-12pm on 08/12/25. He told me that they would call me 30 minutes prior to arrival, and as promised, the technician called 30 minutes before arriving. The technician spent a while trying to troubleshoot the issue (hot water turning cold/water pressure dropping). He checked both showers (where we experience the most issues), one of the bathroom sinks, and the kitchen sink. He determined that a sensor on the hot water heater had gone bad, but he stated that the water heater had a 5 year warranty - meaning the part would be replaced for free. He attempted to call the water heater company, but was on hold for a long time. Finally, he hung up with them and told me that they were going to call them back at a later time when they weren't so busy to order the replacement part, rather than wait around on the phone for an unknown amount of time. At that point he left. On 08/24, after nearly 2 weeks of silence, I texted the technician on the phone number that he called me from to check on the status of the replacement part. No response. This morning, I called the technician on the phone number that he called me from. No answer. At that point, I decided to reach back out to Christian in the Yelp messages that we had scheduled the appointment on. When I let Christian know that I had texted/called the technician directly, he was obviously very upset that I had broken the unwritten rule of directly contacting the last person that I had been dealing with. He told me that he that he was not aware that there was any communication between myself and his technician (there wasn't any - since he didn't reply to my text or answer/return my call). Rather than answer my question regarding the status of the replacement part, Christian decided to scold me for contacting the technician directly, and refused to accept any responsibility for the lack of communication these past couple of weeks. He offered to send out another technician multiple times, and I still don't understand why. If the first technician was able to determine the issue and they were supposed to order the replacement part, why would I need another technician to come out and tell me the same thing? That makes me feel like he didn't trust the first technician's diagnosis. I tried numerous times to get an answer out of him regarding the replacement part, but he was clearly having a hard time understanding the question. After he repetitively offered the same solution, I asked him for a yes/no answer if they ordered the part and what good sending a new technician would do. I figured that if he was unable to answer those simple questions, he clearly had no interest in resolving my problem - and I was right. Christian wasn't able to mentally process my questions, so at that point I decided to find another, more capable plumbing company (Mauzy). Not only were they able to come out the same day, did a much lengthier investigation, and determined that the issue had nothing to do with the water heater whatsoever. I see that Christani Plumbing has a lot of 5 star reviews, and I really have to wonder if these ratings were paid for or made by friends and family. If you look closely at the 1 star reviews, you'll see situations similar to mine, except for one instance where he rectified the situation. In this circumstance, the updated review states "Apparently there was a break down in communication between the technician who we initially dealt with and Chris". It sounds like there was also a breakdown in communication between the technician that I dealt with and Christian, but this time his resolution was to argue and not take responsibility. Edit: As you can see from Christian's reply below, he still refuses to accept responsibility for his/his company's poor communication and customer service - despite the photographic evidence. He has called my wife and myself liars for leaving honest reviews of our experience with his company, and somehow thinks that reporting our reviews to Yelp is going to get them removed. Please use Christian's continued unprofessionalism as further reasoning to choose literally any other plumbing company. If you do choose Christati Plumbing, prepare to be disappointed.

Despite the owner, Ian, repeatedly claiming that communication and staff training are "improving," the reality is a total lack of professionalism. Service requests routinely go ignored for months! One of their "top" employees, Amanda, actually fabricates HOA policies to cover her own mistakes. When I simply requested a heads-up about upcoming work near my unit as I have a small infant at home, she flatly refused, claiming it wasn't her responsibility. Consequently, they ran an industrial fan right next door 24/7 for six straight days with zero explanation. When I asked her to cite the specific policy that allowed this lack of notice, she went silent. The sad part is this is just one of many crap stuff that they've done. They're wasteful with our budget and makes me wonder what they're doing at their office everyday, when you're not responding to their customers. This company prioritizes laziness over service. It's no surprise they were fired by our association after only a few years. Before hiring them, I strongly suggest asking Ian how many ongoing legal cases he and Strategic HOA currently have with former clients.

They put the dishwasher, laundry machines, microwave and refrigerator all on separate circuits. Fer Castaneda did all the work with the help of a young intern. The job included stuffing himself into an extremely tight attic space with his face pushed into the insulation. He wouldn't leave until everything was perfect. Care and commitment to excellence is certainly worth the little extra you might pay.
