Me and my family have had four cars done here. I highly recommend them for quality of installation and longevity of their tint products. They have a lot of different options of tint, and color/tint darkening, and material composition from basic to high quality to the carbon that blocks heat. I had them put carbon on my sunroof to keep from roasting in the summer and I was surprised how well it works. Trust them to do a good job!

California Window Tint is so easy to work with! When I first called, I spoke to Alfonso who was super friendly and helpful. I just bought my first mercedes benz (happy birthday to me!) and was anxious to get the windows tinted. I have a doctor's note for my sensitivity to light, so tint ain't no thang. Alfonso told me to just come in, no appointment needed, and it's usually a wait between 2-2.5 hours. When we were on the phone, he made sure that the type of car I was bringing in didn't have any special needs. Apparently not all benzos are made the same. He took the time to make sure he knew exactly what needed to be done and his thoroughness did not go unnoticed! I didn't get my car in time to drop it the day I wanted, so I had to come in on a Saturday. I called back on Friday to let them know, and spoke to another guy who again was super friendly and helpful. Maybe this was Louis? He told me they don't take appointments because they had problems with all the no shows (rude!), but if I wanted it done quickly to come in at 9am. So that's what I did. I showed up at around 8:55am and they were just opening. I met Alfonso who was as friendly in person as he was over the phone. I described to him what I wanted, and he showed me an example which was exactly as I described and we made a deal. It was $280 to tint all my window on a sedan, except the windshield of course. We don't live in Florida. My car was done around 11:30am. While I was waiting, I had breakfast at Town and Country and meandered around the farmers market nearby. They called as soon as it was ready. When I picked up the car, another nice guy went over the dos and don'ts. I'm really impressed at the professionalism at this business. I've used other tint places in the Bay Area, and this by far was the most pleasant experience I've had. Overall, I would definitely recommend using California Window Tint. They make the experience so easy and are very professional. You can tell they take pride in the excellent work they do. When we're ready to tint the truck, we'll be coming back here! read more

Just took our Mercedes there and one of the owners son was so nice gave us discount due to not having the car ready in 5 hours as stated when we dropped off the car. Gave us couple air fresheners and shared how the family business started and why they were delayed in tinting they car in the time frame given. Defiantly would recommend this place! read more

Just met this family run business (Daniel,Luis and sis) and they did a fantastic job from getting me in one day notice, quoting great price, and completing the job in the promised timeline. Loved the quick service. Shop is clean and close to nearby 11th St to kill some time. There's a reason this place has a five star label. Took my daughters care in to be tinted as she's very fussy about her car being done right and she just loves the work that was done. Myself as a business owner got a chance to experience a quality run shop like this one. It's very clean and the employees aren't some thugs fresh off the streets. I picked up my 2015 Acura TLX on 7/28 and decided that I wanted to protect myself and my interior from the harsh sun of the Central Valley so... I called CA WINDOW TINTING and asked for a price for my 2015 Acura. They asked if I only wanted the back half in 50% shade and I said yes. Knowing it would look nice since my car is pearl white and only the back half since I believe it is still illegal to tint the front side windows in CA. I was quoted a price and was at the shop within 15 minutes. A little over an hour later I went back to the shop to get my car and it looks great! The cost was minimal, the workmanship was excellent and according to my fellow Yelpers, the work speaks for itself! It is recommended that the windows not be rolled down for 24hrs so the ceramic film drys properly and some bubbles will appear and disappear ad the film drys. Again, great look, great price and great service! read more

I took my Jaguar XK8 it here to get it tinted, the guy Alfonso did a fantastic job, he only took about an hour to do 4 windows and the rear glass. The rear was done in a darker color than the front tint according to law. I was very impressed with the precise laser cutting machine that they had for cutting the Tint film. They were also very courteous and worked in a very professional and clean manner and were very careful with my car which is something I really really appreciate, whenever I take it to get serviced or worked on anywhere. I just had a car done a few weeks ago and I was impressed with their work and customer service so I came back to do another vehicle. Even though they're very popular and busy they still managed to fit me in rather quickly, and got my car back to me within a couple hours. The price is very fair for the quality and guarantee that comes with it. Their customer service is great also, the guy is very pleasant and walked me through the process and what they would be doing and was detailed in informing me on how to care for the windows while curing. Found California window tint here on yelp and the reviews were too good to ignore this place so I called got a quote and brought in the car and Luis answered every question and concern I had on what I wanted. I liked that I wasn't pressured into paying for more expensive tint film when it wasnt needed. Most shops will do whatever they can to get another dollar from you. Car was done in an hour and a half picked it up and it looks amazing! Air bubbles were expected but those usually go away after a few days but I still haven't seen any! I got the PPF with Ceramic tint and window tinting. For $4300 and a "Certified Installer" I figured I couldn't go wrong ! WRONG ! Then a THIRD time because there were bubbles again. He offered to come to my house to do it but only because I was going to take him to court for a refund. The third time has been successful, but here is the kicker ... he contacted me a year later and wanted to do a check up on his work, so I agreed and came all the way back he did his check around the car , maybe washed it , I don't recall now, but then tried to charge me for the visit , like $200 I think. I refused to pay and left .... I would NEVER go back to him or his shop for anything ! My son had his Tesla Model Y completely wrapped in a beautiful green, teal, gold, transition ... it took 1.5 days , was $2700 , and done right the first time at another place of course ....

My rear windshield had old tint from the previous owner and the quality was terrible. Instead of risking damage to the defroster by peeling it off, they quickly came up with another solution and offered to lay ceramic tint over it instead. On 6/13 my husband went and got our Range Rover sport front windows and windshield tinted. The windows looked foggy, blurry and blue film which they used can be seen from the outside. Basically they did the tinting as if this was their first time doing this, then my husband went back second time and the guy said "well there is 2 film and that's why it looking foggy" so he said he can redo it again for $80 which of course we paid that along with $340 he had already charged us. No difference people, our car looks exactly the same. our windshield and front windows look foggy. I am attaching pictures for you guys to see what I'm talking. I believe it's Luis who helped us and he said that "Range Rover window come tinted from factory which causes the foggy and blurry" he basically is blaming Range Rover for producing cheap windows material which he can't tint. I think the problem is not Range Rover factory but California window tint is using cheap quality. what a shame! I came here after reading tons of good reviews on yelp but that wasn't the case. I wasted $420 with them and now have to go somewhere to re-do the same job. So this will be additional $500 somewhere else now. Do not come here guys especially if you have Range Rover or other luxury cars, they will ruin them and leave no option and then tell you that factories produce windows that can't be tinted!!!!! read more
