The worst. I called to make a reservation for a pick up at SFO and was told I would be picked up in a town car. Gave them all the flight info. THEY WERE OVER 20 MIN LATE!! and showed up in a beat old taxi. There was no reason to use them at ALL! I should have just taken a taxi and I would have been home 20 mins earlier. I used this company to have a friend picked up at the airport based on good Yelp reviews. I have to say Yelp really disappointed me here: 1. When I made the call, I emphasized that my friend was arriving from a foreign country and didn't have a phone, so getting the name on the sign correct was important. However, the guy on the phone seemed to be uninterested in getting the details right. As it turns out, they had taken down the wrong name for my friend, so my friend couldn't find the driver at the airport and wasted quite a bit of time. 2. When the driver arrived at our place, he called and I asked him to pull up our driveway so we wouldn't have to haul the luggage, and his response was "No buddy, you need to come out here." 3. After the driver finally pulled up our driveway, he was extremely rude, and when I told him he might get a bigger tip if we was more courteous to his customers, he became very aggressive and repeatedly called me "a**hole." I've used various car services in the area, including various cab companies, 101 Limo, Uber, etc., but this was by far the most unpleasant experience I've ever had. read more

Wow - I'm not sure this is the same company based on my experience tonight. I decided to give these guys a try based on the stellar reviews. Had to wait next to the taxi line (with plenty of empty taxis) at SFO for 15 minutes while the driver who was clearly not at the airport came rushing to find me. When he finally shows up it's just a cab - nothing special. Asked about the "flat rate" as a co-worker made the reservation and the cab and he told me that this was a metered trip (from SFO to Stanford). WTF.... $110 later I just arrived. So when you use this company a) it's a cab, b) they're late, and I;m not sure if I just got ripped off or scammed. Never coming back - hope the rest of you will find a better service. Asked whether a car could be at my spot in 20 minutes. Affirmative. Told them to drive into the driveway of the building. Within a few minutes a text arrived telling me they would be there on time. Black car Lincoln Town Car arrived a few minutes early and texted me that he was on site. By the time I saw the text I was in the car having never waited for the car at all. Driver was courteous and responsive. Front seat was all the way forward when I entered the back seat-comfy. Wisked me to SFO along 280 for the 37 minute drive. Driver made no attempt to open the door for me at airport. But that really would have been luxe instead of just merely excellent. $105 all in with tip. 2.5 times more than a regular Uber car but you know what? No stinking "app" told me that it just HAD to invade my contact list, use my phone, and use my camera...really?... my contact list? bullocks! I guess I need a burner phone just for Uber. Who knows what other privacy would have been invaded? Plus the ride was dead on-time, roomy, and no bumpies along the way. Odd that this is the first review in such a long time. Before I started calling these guys I was calling a different cab company. About every third time they wouldn't show up or they'd show up late. Then a friend of mine gave me the City Wide's number. I have found them to be totally reliable. They never miss. They are there when they say they are going to be there. I call them several times a week and I have no complaints at all. They give really good service. On time, friendly, and I trust the routes they take to get where I am going. City wide is really customer focused. I have them on speed dial and I call no one else. Infuriating! Untrustworthy! Completely stood us up!!!!! I called when they were ten minutes late and provided my reservation number. They claimed they didnt recall my reservation or have record of it. Seriously?! Since they texted the reservation number to me I reminded them to look at their very own cell phone for the chain of texts that we had for reservation. Apparently that didn't matter any. No apology! And they said they would not be coming! We had to get into our own car and drive to the airport so we didn't miss our flight. Somethink wrong about a company that has at least 4 phone numbers, 3 web sites and as many business names. They go by Taxi ASAP, Yellow Taxi, Mountain View Taxi and use many phone numbers: "Drop us a call any time on 650-739-5600, 650-739-5200 ,650-739-5555 , 408-420-0808". I suspect they do this to avoid complaints. On to my story: I needed a ride at 5am to the train station 1.5 miles away. No problem, they said. But apparently their drivers are allowed to refuse calls if the fare is not big enough because that's what happened to me. I received a call around 4:45 am from a driver asking where I needed to go -- as though the dispatcher didn't tell him. I told him which train station and he hung up on me -- no goodbye, no "I won't be taking your fare", he just hung up. For some reason, I took that to mean that he would arrive shortly. At 5:15 (15 minutes late) I called the dispatcher and he said he couldn't get anyone to take the fare -- Yes, he waited for me to call in to tell me this!!! HE should have called ME to tell me this ahead of time. He then claimed he could have someone there in 20 minutes. I told him I would start walking to the train station -- He said a driver would catch me walking down the street with a big suitcase and take me the rest of the way. Of course, that driver never showed. Then around 6am, after running to the train and barely catching it, I got a call from another driver saying she could be there in 15 minutes. Seriously, an hour later than my scheduled time? What a horrible experience from this company, whatever their name is this month. read more
