After one year (In October 2022), they tried to raise my rent based on water usage. The excess usage was being caused by a malfunctioning toilet tank flap, which the landlord replaced previously ion 2022. Since this fixed the excess water usage, I did not sign a new lease with an increased rent, obviously they did this ONLY to recover their money and not because of any water usage I was doing. My water usage was one toilet and one deep sink. After I lost my job and moved out in February 2024, Mr. Spears told me he he was keeping the security deposit because I refused to sign the increased rent lease back in 2022. I told him that I have been a landlord for over 20 years and this was blatantly illegal. I am filing a complaint with the state attorney general for theft. I am also reporting this crime to the local Cambridge Police. This is a dishonest company run by a dishonest person.

The smoke billowed in while the fire raged due to the fireman kicking in my door and leaving it open for days. Since Oct. 2019, my condo is still not ready to move in. And my unit was only smoke, nothing else. I have told this company several times about smelling smoke and getting severe headaches from just walking in 5 min.s to view what HAS been completed. I know it is in my carpet, that's all that is left to hold the smell, unless it it the heating and a/c ducts that they stated were cleaned already. They constantly do not address my concern with the carpet. I keep saying what if someone has asthma, allergies, etc. From this company, to the project manager, onward. I will not sign off on any of their work when the time comes, which will be soon, I hope, bc of liability. They can accept the liability if they are so correct.
