C&B never intended to do the restoration, and they left me with half my floor ripped up. These folks are dishonest and manipulative. Do not hire them if they say they'll do the entire job. They only want to do mitigation - they won't do the restoration. They also left my walls in rough shape according to other contractors, appear to have cracked an HVAC drain pipe, and generally made a huge mess that I've had to live with. They've repeatedly trash talked my insurance company, terrifying me by implying that my house is going to sit in disrepair and be unlivable like another house nearby. They neglected to mention that the house they are referring to has structural damage and isn't at all like my house. They're just fear mongering and trying to whip me into a panic. It's awful to do that to a single parent who is just trying to get back to normal. Use another company if you want a job well done by people you can trust.

They will wine and dine you at the beginning to get you to sign on but then you get tossed to the back of the queue while they troll for new business. Here are some of the issues I experienced: 1. Awful communication. We requested they notify us the day before they would show up so that we could shower in peace without running into a stranger and to also put our dog (who loves to escape) behind a gate. Received notification maybe twice 2. Promised an electrical survey of appliances for the water mitigation part but was never completed 3. Failed to paint an entire room and the baseboards in another that the work order called for until I pointed it out 4. I had to constantly call them for updates and time estimates since they would not provide them (how hard is it to send a text message????) 5. Waited until the END to fix flooded ductwork which means my thermostat was running double-time to heat the house during this period 6. Delayed working on the project because they were waiting for payment for the water mitigation (this was their responsibility to submit the claim to the insurance company but they screwed it up and I had to fix it for them) 7. Did NOT offer a final walkthrough though it was specified on their closing paperwork. There are still white paint stains on my green door and small wall damages from their equipment on the inside

The quality of the work was terrible, filled with mistake after mistake. The job involved a new door installation and the replacement of wood with PVC panels around the bay windows and chimney box--a relatively simple project, one would think. However, it was anything but simple for Clarksville Construction. Find a better contractor and save yourself all these problems. If you know of any, please add them in the comments. Here is a list of some of the problems encountered. * On the first day, the crew did not bring a generator, which caused the circuit breaker to trip repeatedly.  * On the second day, a drill was left on top of the chimney, which was very dangerous. My neighbors noticed it. They also commented that the crew's performance led them to decide not to use Clarksville Construction for their future projects.* I observed that a section of cracked 2x10 wood was used, despite my instructions to the crew not to use such materials. * Communication with the crew was very difficult. I can't imagine how anyone who doesn't speak any Spanish would manage. * The new door did not fit, necessitating the cutting of a section of the wall. * They failed to order a screen door and realized this 4 days into the job. * There were dark marks on the entire chimney siding. Scratches were noticed on the floor in the entryway.  *There were marks on the interior wall next to the door.* A stain was found on the rug. * There was a 1.5-inch gap at the bottom of the chimney box. * The wrong screen door was ordered, delaying delivery by 2 more weeks.* Insulation was not properly installed under the window boxes, resulting in my furnace running continuously. * The crew returned on February 6th, 2026, to address these issues. OVER four and a half months have passed since this project was to be completed. Unbelievably poor, a nightmare, and completely unacceptable!

My second-floor hot water heater decided to malfunction when I was on a cruise. I live in a…read moretownhouse/villa condo community. My next-door neighbor, (fortunately), spotted water running from my front door. To make a long story short, my condo manager recommended United Restoration; they used them before and were well pleased. From what I understand, United Restoration came out almost immediately and started the mitigation process. I arrived to see my home 2 days later. I cried when I saw it but according to my neighbors it looked good compared to what it was. United Restoration packed up my stuff efficiently and I easily found what I needed. They dried out the house very quickly - still in the drying process - and because they got there so quickly it appears there will be no mold problems. They are still in the drying/packing process. I met with Joe Pino, the Manager and estimator, the next business day. He explained clearly the damages and what will be needed; he is dealing with the Insurance company as well. They are a full-service company, so I won't be worrying about contractors, etc. They also are dealing with the insurance company. I cannot tell you how pleased and greatful for the work they are doing.

And as well as their professionalism and excellent workmanship, the team and subcontractors were a pleasure to work with. I cannot recommend Yoder and Sons highly enough.
