Stopped and had some delicouce gelato to cool of in the summer heat. Bought some Dubi chocolate and did some window shopping too. They have a parking loy at the basement level wich is very convienant. It is paid parking and you pay at the machine at the bottom of the escalators. No cash, no problem the machine takes cedit cards.

After having our donuts, we walked around the plaza. This plaza is similar to an outdoor mall. There are wide walkways with restaurants and boutique shops. There is parking around the borders. The further in I walked, the more I felt like i had teleported to Europe! The main reason we explored this plaza was because of the sculpture, then the telephone booth, then the turtle pond, etc., and we just kept finding more sculptures & things of interest! Points of interest that I saw: Generation Bridge, Lion, Whale Tail Bench, Telephone Booth, Tile Plaque with La Arcada history, Saint Barbara Award to Hugh Petersen, Turtle Fountain, Ben Franklin, The Mozart Trio Fountain, Mission Bell, Ship Cannon, Sea Turtle, Sea Lion, & Dolphins. There's also one that took me by surprise called "Nice To See You". It's a man washing a window. And there's a man with a child on his shoulders with a fair mural behind them called, "Nice To See You". I'm sure I missed a few things. This was a cool unplanned discovery!

It was easy to find and they also have ample parking being away from the main town. I was able to snag a parking spot on the weekend but if it gets busy they also have valet parking which I appreciate. The grounds of the Post are really beautiful. It's a lovely outdoor space to shop and drink your coffee or tea. The stores are very visually appealing and the aesthetic gives clean and *money lol. But really, let's just call it what it is. To shop here you have to be spending a pretty penny. I won't rate less stars because of this - I just want to acknowledge for fellow readers this is not an outlet, there are no deals - this is a spot for luxury shopping and that's A okay. It's a place I'll gladly come to look around but it's out of my price range. Aside from the shops I love that the Post holds space for one of my favorite new restaurants, Ospi! They also have a coffee shop and meal prep store here if you are looking for something more on the go and small. But as far as restaurants go it's super cool that they have Ospi here.

The Main Courtyard features a comfy outdoor seating space, surrounded by some amazing greenery, and features a very colorful and historic fountain at the center. Designer clothing shops for men, women, and children, as well as a jewelry designer, leather bags and belts, the Leone Hair Salon, and my new favorite Italian Restaurant, Ospi. Staff at all the shops were were courteous and welcoming. And reasonable Valet parking is also available. Was so much fun to be greeted right away by Tedde and her Garden Shop, Scenery Floral. Tedde is a Curator, Art Historian, and Stylist. She has a nice selection of plants, pottery, garden tools, and so much more. So nice to see the beauty in this small and welcoming outdoor space. Although we did not have a lot of time to truly explore, we did walk in and out of several shops and definitely look forward to bring family and friends for some serious Retail Therapy. We also got the chance to meet stylist Kadel and tour his store, The Optimist, which has an incredible selection of men's clothing. And winding down the day with a late lunch at Ospi. It was recently beautifully refurbished into an oasis of an artisan strip mall and offers surprises both inside and out. The venue is wonderfully landscaped and offers great curb appeal, with ambient lighting and drought tolerant vegetation. The parking area is small but there are reserved spaces in a lot across the street where Low Pigeon Coffee is located. The exterior retains its original "mill" charm with natural wood siding and large industrial windows. You'd have no idea it housed several businesses from the front and that is what I appreciate. The facade was kept to look like how it always has, so it remains in tune with the neighborhood rather than sticking out like a sore thumb. You'll find the coolest courtyard just beyond the entrance which is shared by all businesses. It is well lit and offers ample seating and a few clean restrooms. I've been when there is live music and it's the ideal place to enjoy a beverage under the evening sky. There are a handful of small businesses occupying The Mill. I love the vibe of Potek Wine, the interior is intimate and the exposed barrels make for a nice backdrop. I'd say the star of the show is the Third Window Brewing which offers a large main room along with a secondary private patio and a rotating restaurant which varies from their in-house menu to nightly popup dining. What sets this plaza apart, in my mind, is the tenant mix along with the social media perks. Hollister Village may have a handful of chain establishments, but you'll also find local spots like Cottage Urgent Care, Jeannine's Bakery, Kyle's Kitchen and more. After being fully built, it does offer nice curb appeal and there is ample parking which does tend to fill up on weekends (pro tip: park on the side of PetSmart or near Kyle's to avoid the crowds). I really appreciate how the management maintains their social media. They offer occasional raffles where a gift card (good for any business within the plaza) can be won. I enter each time and maybe one day, I'll be the next winner.
