This review is specifically for Hoka Clifton 9 shoes. When looking up their HQ, Deckers Brand Showcase is the top search result. My Hoka Clifton 9 shoes started literally falling apart after only three months. When I first purchased them, I thought they were the most comfortable shoes I had ever worn. I compared it to walking in a bouncy house. Then after three months, I noticed that all of the rubber in the sole had started to fray, leaving all the edges looking tattered and raggedy. By the fourth month, the traction pads embedded in the poor-quality rubber sole were coming loose and I had to glue them back on. My wife had purchased Hokas as well and her soles were worn completely flat in a matter of months. Apparently, that initial comfort is due to poor quality spongey rubber that has no durability. From Hoka's website: "our one-year warranty covers material/ craftsmanship defects up to one year from the date of purchase. For example, if the tread starts to come away from the outsole or if your waterproof style is letting water in." This turns out to be very misleading. I tried contacting Hoka support about my shoes' poor quality. They want me to mail the shoes to them at my own expense so that they can *decide* whether or not they will honor the warranty. Customers purchasing $150 shoes have a right to expect quality of product and quality of customer care. From Hoka I have received neither. DO NOT BUY! No durability whatsoever!

Goleta, CA Decker brands include: Ugg, Ugg Home, Hoka, Sanuk and a few other brands I had not previously heard of. This is not an outlet store. The showcase company store is located in the same parking lot as their Corporate office. The showcase store carries all of the current styles available within each brand. Originally, the showcase store was only opened for employees and investors but is now opened to the public. I arrived 30 minutes prior to closing which I regretted, I needed more time. I came in to look at the HOKA brand but would have looked at others brands if time permitted. The benefit to coming to this store is, no one retail store carries every single style, so it is nice to see the whole line. Upon walking in I was greeted and promptly asked if I would like sparkling or still water. Seriously?!? I asked for sparking and the man brought out the cutest little ice cold glass bottle of San Pellegrino. What a nice way to feel welcomed. I tried on the HOKA brand shoes I came in to look at and found one that could work. I had done some research prior to my visit so I felt the girl was above average knowledgeable but the questions she did not know she asked someone else. I would come here again if in the area. Check hours of operation. Return policy is better if purchasing online versus in store, salespeople are not on commission.

Happy Holidays from a giant Ugg ornament!

Today, I was finally able to visit Deckers Brand Showcase and boy am I happy I did! Deckers is an amazing local company that does a lot of good for our community. And, during the holiday season, they have this amazing campaign (12 days of Christmas) that supports 12 local nonprofit organizations. They generously donate 40% of daily total sales to the daily featured nonprofit, it's AMAZING! So, today, in support of the Mental Wellness Center, an incredible mental health nonprofit in Santa Barbara, I stopped in to shop. They have EVERYTHING you could ever imagine, and if you're into Uggs, this is an Ugg oasis! They have all the new styles and some exclusive that I have never seen. They carry all the Deckers brands here and have a HUGE selection. I will definitely be back!

Sure, some shelves had low stock, though that's a common issue during the holidays, which is only exacerbated by this year's Covid-induced supply chain problems. My only expectation was to find some gift-worthy goodies, and that expectation was met. I picked up a jug of moonshine-inspired hot sauce for under $10, a fun gag gift for $5.99, a large jar of mixed peppercorns for $3.99, and another present--won't name it because the recipient might read this!--for under a fiver. The candle selection was mostly picked clean so I didn't choose one, but there were still some left. Plenty of clothing and home goods too. The store was also quite organized. Pictures indicate that sometimes things get out of hand, however both times I've visited this location it has been pretty well kept. Check-out was smooth, with a very friendly employee, and I left in under 30 minutes. Pretty good for holiday shopping on December 22nd.

Yesterday I came into the store and asked a question about shorts that didn't have a price tag. I asked if she could tell me the price she said no go find something similar and use that price. That made absolutely no sense to me so I said So I can just go find something similar and that's the price regardless if it's higher or lower than this item. After I walked away minutes later she came back and then try to assist me properly. Maybe she was having a bad day. Today I walk in the store right after they open and I guess they're having a team huddle. Right at the doorway. I had a return and I wanted to know if I needed to do the return first or if I could do the return when I purchased the other item. As I started to ask my question the lady whom I assume was the manager interrupted me and said if you have a return you can go over there. I said okay but I have a question. She said if you're returning something you can go over there and do the return so I said that's not my question. Finally I asked my question and she gave me the appropriate answer. Don't stand in front of the store where people are walking in and not expect to be interrupted. If you want to hold a team huddle or whatever it was do that in a place where you can't be interrupted not in the entrance of the store. Oh I forgot to mention the same lady that didn't want to help me on the first day was the lady to check me out on the first day and she seems as if she doesn't want to be here or maybe she just isn't a very social person. Either way it's not a good look for the store. Shout out to the lady in the dressing room though she was very kind very nice and I saw her again this morning and she smiled and say good morning and the same bright attitude. I did appreciate her level of service. Okay so I just checked out with Carolina and oh my gosh she was also amazing So I don't know what to say two amazing people and two people that were absolutely not amazing. And the lady that helped me yesterday that was rude told me to check out with Carolina and when she spoke to me didn't even make eye contact. I can't.

We went to this location to make an exchange and was surprised how messy this store was in several departments. Clothes hanging on top of the racks and laying on the floor. We needed assistance to find the product I wanted to exchange, and the associate was very helpful and friendly. After looking around the store to see if we wanted or needed anything else, we went to the Exchange/Returns counter to make the exchange, and the young lady assisting us was very friendly and accommodating. She rolled her eyes, did not acknowledge me, and reluctantly proceeded to grab the item from the back. At that point, I decided not to purchase the item, which was valued at over $700, because of the poor customer service experience. This type of behavior is unacceptable, especially from someone in a management position. Customers and employees should be treated with professionalism and respect. I would rather drive to a different Target location and spend my money elsewhere than return to this store. Very disappointed with the customer service at this location.

Andi, the owner, has curated a space that feels intentional and community-rooted and does an amazing job working closely with local artists and giving them a platform. There's a free city lot on the corner of Hollister Ave and Pine Ave, plus street parking if you're feeling lucky. No excuses. I originally purchased a pair of Hoka shoes, and within a few months, the sole started separating from the bottom. I contacted their warranty department three separate times, each time including photos and proof of purchase...and received no response. After two months, I finally heard back. I was instructed to send the shoes in for a replacement, which I did at my own time and expense. Instead of receiving a new pair, I was sent someone else's used, dirty shoes. I contacted customer support again. They apologized and issued store credit so I could reorder. I placed a new order on January 20, 2026. Although the shoes were initially backordered, I was told they would ship by February 3 at the latest. It's now been over a month since the item came back in stock, and my order has still not shipped. I've followed up multiple times. Most recently, I was told my order would be canceled and my store credit refunded within 7 days. That deadline has now passed with no update. At every stage, I've had to chase down responses, repeat information, and deal with broken promises. What should have been a simple warranty claim turned into five months of frustration. I used to hold Hoka in high regard. Based on this experience, I can't recommend them...especially when it comes to customer support and integrity.
