The appetizer; Mozzarella Stix! I highly recommend these.

The food was really good and memorable, and the atmosphere was very homey! Though the tables were a tad bit sticky, and the service left a little to be desired, I loved my time there and they were very welcoming! A solid 7.5/10! I'd recommend coming here! Parking is really good, and the tables reach a maximum of four customers. [One table of six]

Went for lunch, expected maybe a "Hot Brown" Sandwich, or maybe some good ole fried chicken- not on the menu- Seemed like this would be a good breakfast place, I was there for lunch, and settled for a chicken sandwich with bacon on white bread. It was actually ok. The place was busy and I had to wait longer than I wanted- but the staff was very nice. Priced for regular folk, cheap for most places. It was OK, but just ok.

We stopped by here for a quick breakfast. The place appears to be a local diner with some traditional breakfast items. Our host/server was friendly and kind to us. We ordered a chicken fried steak and biscuits and gravy. It's hard to go wrong with the breakfast items. We finished and paid up front.

NOT a "greasy spoon" diner... This is a quaint & cute breakfast house. The silverware is in fact incredibly heavy, clean & shiny! Someone put a lot of thought into presenting a VERY clean and well maintained restaurant. You will find everything you are looking for in a small town/country coffeehouse: Old men in plaid shirts with suspenders telling stories, country kitsch decor including vintage utensils and randomly placed ceramic chickens. It is finished with toile curtains and checkered tablecloths that are colour coordinated to the bright red dish ware making for a visually pleasing ambiance. The menu is very simple with really affordable classic breakfast options. There are simple dishes but it does not include an eggs benedict option so minus 1 star...(simply a personal choice) The coffee is hot, the prices are very affordable and the service is warm & generous. A highly recommended breakfast house on the Bourbon Trail.

Antiques adorn the place. Brown beans and cornbread on the menu today

After a great weekend in Lexington Ky at the UK football game and then Sunday at Keeneland we needed a place to stop for breakfast. We drove to the quaint town of Versailles Ky which was near Keeneland racetrack. It was a great find! Super cute little mom and pop restaurant. The staff was so for friendly. The waitress even made a fresh pot of decaf coffee for me as they didn't have any made (so many restaurants don't even offer decaf). The menu was amazing! Healthy options and some good ole down home southern foods like biscuits and gravy, country ham, beans and cornbread etc. we had a delicious breakfast with eggs made to order. My husband had the western omelet Great service. Quick too. And so good! The restaurant has some lovely antique decor. Lots of locals having breakfast on this Monday morning. The lunch menu looked great too.

Step back in time to this mom and pops restaurant. Fresh is the word for the day I tried the western omelette with a side of bacon and everything was great. Nice family place

Everything on their menu is something you could make at home. It's really bland food. Not worth a trip.

Good home style cooking. Service may be slow, but food is hot when it arrives, which is how I like it.

We found Heirloom on Yelp and were excited to give it a try, but the experience ended up being just…read moreaverage. I ordered the burger without the bun or fries, and it was so overly salty that I struggled to finish it. My wife had the CACIO de PEPE, which tasted quite different from what we're used to, and the pasta was overcooked for our liking. My brother-in-law ordered the fish tacos, which were easily the standout dish at the table. My sister's chicken cesar salad was decent but nothing particularly memorable. The restaurant itself feels a bit unexpected for a rural setting, which may help explain its strong ratings. For me, though, it's not a place I'd go out of my way to visit again--more of a "fine if someone else suggests it" kind of spot.

Our first adventure here at Heirloom. We love coming to Midway! The Main Street is a charmer…read more Plenty to shop, eat, and drink here for sure! Heirloom did not disappoint! The atmosphere is super cozy and we felt welcomed from our first steps in. We were warmly greeted by the hostess and we met Michaela who took fabulous care of us for the evening! We settled in to a couple of their specialty cocktails (midwinters night dream and cardamaro manhattans - yummy I'll say) and the Brussel Sprout starter. Let me say to come hungry because the portions are large but yummy. The sprouts are a meal all by themselves! But there's more! I had the porcini rubbed filet and Teresa had the cabbage confit. Both portions were sizable and while I know she loved her cabbage, I was in heaven with a perfectly prepared filet that just melted in my mouth. Plus the asparagus spears and the Okinawa sweet potato mash were perfect accompaniment! Sadly, there was so much goodness we ended up bringing some home and we'll have to come back for dessert and another menu sampling. All in all a very memorable experience and a great place for a birthday dinner! But we'll be back just because! Special closing shout out to Michaela for taking such great care of us.
