Need a box that is okay because this place has plenty of mailing supplies to get your packages to the place they need to be. I have used this location many times and had no problems with my mail not getting delivered. I can say each time I have been here I have received wonderful service. What is nice is that it is not busy so I am always in and out. The fact this locations opens up at 8:00am is another perk.

I've gone to Judee for a few alterations now...the most recent was my bridal gown. Judee did…read morephenomenal work on my gown and I could not have been happier - she's a true artist with a sewing needle!!! The bridal shop or designer had sized it incorrectly or the gown was marked wrong and it needed to be let out a little. The trick was the extensive hand beading and intricate detail work throughout the entire bodice. It also had a chapel train made of tulle and I wasn't thrilled with doing a bustle. Judee suggested cutting the train off and making the entire gown one length and that's what we did. I got so many compliments on my gown - how well it fit, how beautiful it is and also everyone actually loved that I didn't have a train - bustling it would not have enhanced the gown in any way and actually would have have detracted from it. I wish I could show how much work Judee needed to do to remove the train and make the gown all one length as well as hemming it to the proper length. This gown must have had a dozen layers! I've included a close up of the gown and then a full length of it on me (p.s. the hem doesn't look even in the photo but that was either the way I was standing or it came up - it was even). I've also been to Judee to have a bridesmaid gown altered as well as many cocktail dresses. She does fabulous work on everything and is so great to work with! Judee is so friendly, easy going and accomodating! I'm not tall, have a short waist and fairly large bust/shoulders so I pretty much have needed alterations my entire life. Judee is by far one of the best I've been to and she is also very reasonably priced for the magic she does. I'm sure if I had had the alterations done at the bridal shop, it would have cost a LOT more!

The owner rushed me and my friend (a professional fashion designer) to make snap decisions about materials--without ever asking to see my design ideas. Later, she tried to put the blame on me for not providing every single detail up front. She insulted the sundress I was wearing, treated us like we were wasting her time, and then quoted me twice the price for the same style of dress I later purchased at Brilliant Bridal North Phoenix. Whether she was intimidated by my friend's design background or simply had somewhere else to be, the message was clear: our business wasn't valued. Warning: The staff may sound warm and convincing over the phone, but the in-person reality is very different. Expect the ambience of a 1980s time capsule--fun only if you're nostalgic for that decade. The glowing reviews here are either wildly generous... or bought and paid for. If you want to be treated with respect and find a stunning gown for under $10K, I highly recommend Brilliant Bridal or Don't Box It Bridal instead.

To start on a positive note, she did agree to take my jumpsuit back for a second round of…read morealterations after I realized it was too tight. I take full ownership for not being more vocal at the initial fitting when she completed the first alterations. That part is on me. After trying it on again at home, I texted Helena to let her know it was still slightly too tight. I was polite, apologetic, and expressed appreciation for her work. I also explicitly asked how much I owed her for the additional alterations -- I did not request that they be done free of charge. She responded kindly, said she just wanted me to be happy, and told me not to worry about paying more. I thanked her and reiterated my gratitude. When I brought the jumpsuit back in, the tone shifted. I was scolded and warned that if this "happens again," I would be charged double. For clarity: I never asked for complimentary alterations. I paid $150 for the original work and simply wanted the garment to fit properly so I could actually wear it in the future. Fast forward to today when I picked it up. I asked, as standard practice, if I should try it on before leaving. Her response: "Why would you do that? I didn't charge you. You don't need to try it on." The implication that I was being unreasonable for wanting to confirm the fit -- especially after the previous issue -- was unnecessary and unprofessional. I wasn't trying to "get away with" anything. I was trying to ensure the service I paid for was completed properly. While I appreciate that she ultimately adjusted the jumpsuit, the attitude and reprimanding were unwarranted. Professionalism matters just as much as craftsmanship.
