Called this place to help with a shower problem. The plumber (Nick) took off the old part and said he would see if he can find the new part to replace. Quoted $285 if he can find it or $900 if he has to replace the whole valve. I said fine, please call me when you find the part. I get a call about an hour later and he has found the part, says it is $120. I said great please make sure you have the receipt for it. He then asked me for my CC information? I asked why, isn't he going to bill me at the end with parts included? He hung up on me! I called him back and said, umm why did you hang up on me - he says he is refusing to do the work and he has many other clients that he works with that doesn't give him these problems. I said, so asking why you need my CC information is a problem? I said I have never worked with your company and you haven't worked with me either so perhaps if you needed a CC you should have asked for that up front, no? Again, he didn't have an answer he said he is refusing to do the work and he will drop the old part off back at the house. I said ok great. End of story. I personally think Nick didn't think I was the owner of the property and he thought WE/I was going to leave him hanging for the $...that's really sad. But it's his loss, really.
