Jose (and another worker) installed my toilet. During my consultation, Jose knew it would be a bit harder to replace my toilet due to its placement in my bathroom and the size of the old toilet, but he was willing to work with me and quoted me a fair price. He answered my questions with ease, which showed his knowledge and care. After installation, I needed further help with the toilet, and he came back the next day, no charge. The toilet has been working very well (it's been 3 weeks since installation). I almost went with a more popular plumbing company, though I knew something was off when I spoke with their rep. Thomas, the owner, answered my phone call and gave me a quote for the reinstalltion of a toilet (after a new floor was put in). He was able to come out within 1.5 hours. He kept in touch and let me know when he was coming. I don't undertake how this company gets such high reviews. I had a few straightforward things I needed done: installing a new toilet and fixing a shower valve. I sent a request on Yelp. I talked to a guy (Jose?). He said they could come out at the end of the day to look and asked for photos of the valve, which I sent. But he didn't show up, so I called him and he claimed to know nothing about it, said that I had texted with his "boss." So then I texted the photos to his number. He said he would come out the next day, but he didn't show up. I called the next day after that and he said he could show up the same day, but that didn't work for me, so I asked for Friday. And he said ok. But guess what? He didn't show up that day either. I guess they didn't want my business. read more

We had a surprise gas leak that shut everything down in our house, and these guys came out same day. It was a big job, having to tunnel under our driveway to run new line etc, and they handled it with professionalism and speed. And when they were finished, you could hardly even tell our grass had been dug up. Once the job was complete, there was a lingering issue with our furnace (SoCal Gas's fault), and Rasco's came back out to take a look - in the end finding and solving a problem our HVAC company wanted to charge $2100. This review is not for the work they did but for the poor level of service in response to an appointment. I had a leak from an upstairs bathroom and had to shut off the main water line all day to prevent more water leaking into my downstairs ceiling. My appointment was confirmed with them at 1:30 pm and they were to show up around 6 pm. At 6:30 pm, I had to follow up asking for their ETA and was told they are running behind and couldn't make it today, and I would have to wait until the following morning. To go one full day without turning on water when had they been up front with me earlier in the day, I would have found someone else. This seems like bait and switch. read more
