Horrible PRICE GOUGING business!! Paid $525 for a simple kitchen sink grease plug that took a full 10-15 minutes of work. Once the business saw my review they called and offered me 20% back ($100) like 10 minutes of work would be worth $425‍ I told them thats still a complete RIP OFF so they offered 50% refund and I took. Only goes to show they know they are RIPPING PEOPLE OFF!! And still paying $225 for a simple 10-15minute snake job is completely a RIP OFF!! I was able to get an appointment within less than 24 hours. I discussed the challenge with Elias on site and he offered me three different options with various pros and cons all reasonably priced. Once an option was selected, Elias was able to implement the solution within hours with high effectiveness and accuracy and professionalism. Throughout the visit he would share expert insight about various things such as the quality of the pipes that were previously installed by a different company and the pros and cons of various other plumbing topics. Wow--this was a doozy! We had used Pristine previously, but this time around it was a disaster. We needed the valve replaced so we could get our new fridge installed. Kevin, the technician, came out and did the work. Price seemed incredibly high at almost $850, but I trusted it (and I just needed it done). He was here for less than an hour and when he was about to leave, there was still a crazy hole due to where he cut the drywall. He wouldn't complete the job, told me he wasn't trained for it, and then told me he should have said at the start he wouldn't repair the drywall. When I talked with his boss, Dwayne, I was told Kevin should have told me he wouldn't repair the drywall and he is not trained for that. Dwayne then said he'd get someone to repair the drywall at 9 AM the next day--that we would be the first appointment. My wife rearranged her work schedule and despite a number of attempts to follow-up to see where the guy was, Dwayne never answered my texts. Ultimately someone showed just after 12 PM. I texted Dwayne to let him know, and he continued not to acknowledge my communication. Yikes! To make it all worse, when we woke up this AM, the toilet was backing up into the shower. This hadn't happened, and the only coincidence is that Kevin had been playing with the water line the day before when changing the valve. The lack of transparency and communication would be obvious to anyone. Such an incredible disappointment! Pristine required a solid two days to correctly replace a 3-4 Ft section of flexible gas piping under our mobile home in Lake Forest. At the end of the first day we were informed by their second crew that the leak had been fixed. SoCal Gas came out to inspect their work and informed us that a leak still existed. Entire system was red-tagged by SoCal and gas main turned off. Called Pristine to explain situation and a third crew came on site the next morning . They completely redid the work that the second crew did. Called SoCal again to inspect and they verified the gas leak had been repaired. However they demanded rework on the hole created for the new piping as it was too small for the flexible pipe and not earthquake proof. Fourth crew came out and enlarged hole for the new piping. After explaining all of this to field manager and owner we received a fair price adjustment to compensate us for this experience. I called back and they said they couldn't call the plumber (?) but promised me he was coming. Said they asked him to call me. He never did. I called back an hour later. I came home one night to a sink leak in my bathroom and put out Yelp inquires based on the situation, and attached a few photos. Pristine Plumbing was one of the first companies to reply with the earliest possible on site assessment. Their initial visit is at NO COST, which is much appreciated. Amanda Yelp messaged me back with some questions and was able to help me with scheduling the appointment. I was given a time frame for arrival. The business also sent me a text with the technician's name and that they were on their way on the day of the appointment. Daniel B. was the certified technician dispatched to do the assessment. He was wearing the Pristine Plumbing uniform with his name on it. It was very reassuring that it was the correct person to let into my home. Daniel was super polite and I appreciated that he brought shoe covers to put on when coming into the house. Daniel was very professional and thorough with his inspection. He found the leak... however there seems to be damage to the wall, floors, and vanity. Yikes! These tiny leaks are so troubling cause they go by unnoticeable. Following the appointment he sends me a job description regarding the situation and also an invoice for the sink faucet. Given how the damage is beyond just the faucet, we have to proceed with a provider who is able to work through all the fixes and able to work with the landlord's insurance. A great experience with that company! Timely and professional I dealt with them last November where they flushed my heater and discovered the pilot was not working. They replaced parts and repaired it. I called them back last week, and Drew came right away, he was pleasant, patient, took his time to answer my concerns and explained how my older heater functions and what it needed. We called several times, were told the parts needed to be ordered to fix the leak. There was NO follow up on their part. I don't know if management changed but this is not how you should handle customers. So after the great service I received, I thought I'd recommend this company to my father who is currently having issues with a major leak. He's had multiple people come out and almost all have been able to pinpoint the issue but none have been able to fix it. Well, I thought Pristine could so shared their contact information. The technician came out and proceeded with an unnecessary leak detection fee in order to give an estimate. Mind you the whole are was gutted and the problem already diagnosed. On top of that, they quoted a ridiculous price that gave off we don't want this job vibes. Honestly, my father felt scammed and I feel terrible for recommending him this company. They could have just said it's going to cost more than $X amount. We would have said thank you and moved on. We only feel this way because the price they quoted after the fee was so exorbitant that it was absolutely given in bad faith. An honest technician would have at least waived the fee if they felt that it was a job they did not want to undertake. I hate writing negative reviews but I feel I need to be honest about my experience with Pristine Plumbing. A few months ago, our shower head was leaking with a slow drip-drip. I requested a free estimate and had a technician come out to check out the issue. The assessment went really well and I learned a lot about CA's hard water, the level of chlorine, etc... I felt pretty good about the quote we got so we went ahead and scheduled a time for Pristine Plumbing to fix the shower head and also one of the master bed bathroom sinks. When the technician came to fix the leaky shower head and sink faucet, we were told that the shower head can't be fixed because there was too much calcium build up. He went ahead and fixed the bathroom sink but a few weeks later, it started leaking again. We requested that the technician come back to fix the bathroom sink again, and he did. But yet again, this time, just a few days later, the bathroom sink was leaky again. I spent hundreds of dollars for this repair and I feel like I paid for nothing. Nothing has been fixed and I'm back to square one. My husband called customer service to see if there is anything they can do but he kept getting the run-around and no solution was provided for us. They are overpriced, trying to sell you what you don't need, and have missed something. I could not be present, so I was trusting them to give me an honest evaluation. They are slow to respond and use a call center, so you may get a different agent every time you call their main line, which can add to the frustration. I had an urgent need, and I needed to get it fixed right away. The plumber came out (they were late for their scheduled appointment). Told me what was wrong and quoted me the price. I thought the price was high, but because of the urgency, I had to fix it. They fixed the problem, but the next day it came up again. They came out and found another issue, which they should have found in the first place. They say the job will cost more. Plus, they are trying to refer you to a partnered restoration company for additional business. Both companies are aggressive in trying to get their money and more business. I got three texts within minutes and two emails in less than four hours, harassing me to pay. Please see the photos. By the way, I paid within 24 hours. The restoration company kept on trying to contact me for more business. I contacted my general contractor, and he said he could have remodeled my entire bathroom, from A to Z, for a third of the cost of the first job. Paid for leak detection and spoke to Eddie on 2/10 and received an estimate on 2/11. Called with questions on 2/11 and haven't heard back from them since. Eddie said they would have to get the walls tested before starting work but he knew just the company so we called them. Still no response from Eddie and not only has a Restoration guy that he recommended showed up but the guy after that person to actually test the wall. During this time I called and got ahold of Amanda. She gave me her personal number to text and I'm getting radio silence from her as well. It's been 11 days since we called them and we've paid nearly $900 between their leak detection and the test they insisted on and despite tests coming back negative for the area they'd be working on I still haven't gotten so much as a voicemail or text response and the leak hasn't been fixed. Not only does it feel like we're being ghosted but the Restoration and abatement guy he recommended from another company suggested we shouldn't go through insurance only to send us a $5000 estimate to remove less than a panel of drywall. This isn't including Pristine's actual fix. I dont usually make reviews because I understand everyone has busy lives but after spending nearly $1000 and speaking to a handful of people without getting so much as a "No" kind of forced the issue. read more

If I could leave a zero star review I would. They stood me up twice, not showing up within the timeframe they had given me. When I called the second time to complain, they sent a supervisor out who admitted he hadn't been in the field for a long time. He did a "routine" water heater flush, and then took me around the rest of the house looking for other things he could replace and spent about 30 minutes trying to sell me on a $6,800 product that I don't need. A few weeks later, I started having error codes on my water heater. Their recommendation was to replace the water heater for $7000. If I'd had hot water and time to shop around, I would've found out that the same job with the same unit could've been done for about $3000. Instead their guys came spent half a day installing the unit and then left a mess with drywall cut out and exposed plumbing under the water heater unit. They had to come back a second day because apparently they didn't have all the parts to complete the job the first time they came. Come to find, out there is a cover for that exposed plumbing that they didn't order or offered to us. So, we had them back a third day to install side cover once we realized that we could order it and also requested a drywall guy to come fix our drywall that was torn up. Now two days later, we try to run a load of dishes and realize they never turned our water back onto the dishwasher. We also have a new leak in the water heater overflow outside. This company is out for your money. They way overcharge and don't even do a good job without prompting and supervision. You have to be a proactive customer and kind of know what they're doing to make sure they're doing it right. Better to just find someone else. The one nice thing that I have to say is the supervisor was very polite and nice the entire time. Just didn't have good work to back up the niceness. read more
