Chicago dog. On sale
Jose V.

First time, here. Food was good, we had the meat lovers pizza. I like how they cut it in squares. Downside is they don't offer wings, but then again, this is a pizza joint not a wing joint. Service was prompt, came on a Monday around 5PM. They do have great music, so that was a plus. Place is clean, staff is friendly. Oh yeah, the hey had their Chicago dogs on sale today and so I tried one, not to shabby, it held me long enough for the pizza to come out. Just as an FYI, if you get coughs taking a break you will be asked if your ready for a box and your check. Over all! Great spot to come have some delicious pizza.

Such a neat find! My husband and I love Chicago style deep dish and hot dogs. This place didn't disappoint! Brea was so nice and hospitable! Will definitely be coming back!

So. It's definitely homemade sauce and it's good sauce. Good stringy cheese. But I guess maybe I'm just not as big a fan of authentic deep dish as I thought? My first time having the sauce on top, it wasn't anything spectacular to me. The salad was definitely not a $6.99 side salad. I might have been okay with $4 because of the toppings but the blue cheese in a packet was room temp and the salad was tiny. The pizza was heavy, like they definitely put a lot into the large, at first the box seemed small but it's hefty. All in all I probably won't be back. Just not anything special, to me. I'm sure if you like authentic deep dish this might do it. It's like a cracker and pillsbury biscuit mixed together. Also didn't love that I couldn't place an order over the phone. It went straight to a voice recording that just basically said what they have and to order online. I wanted to pay cash with it being a small business. The waitress was nice enough and prompt service. Also kinda slow for a Saturday at 630. Looking at other reviews I'm sure they have regulars, I just won't be one. $38 for a pizza and a tiny side salad. It's just a no.

If you are looking for authentic Chicago style pizza pie, this is it. Who knew such great pizza could be had in Clarksville Tennessee? I've been to Chicago and sampled pizza from. Giordano's and Malnati's,. Camacho's is definitely in the ole ballpark. The downside of this location is the signage out front doesn't convey very clearly what beautiful work they are doing here. This is a Chicago food style sports bar. Not only do they serve the pizza pie but they also have many varieties of Chicago style hotdogs . The store is open and casual seating. Very friendly servers who were on point. Be aware that this pizza takes a longer time to prep and cook so a 45 minute wait once you place the order is about par. This wait hold true in Chicago also. You can't rush perfection. We had the deep dish sausage and it was great. Bring an appetite because this is heavy duty pizza. I have a hefty appetite "and a circumference to match "and I could only eat 3 pieces, barely. The crust is Devine which anyone who knows anything about pizza , the crust is everything. If the bread is mediocre, so is the pizza. The crust here is good enough to eat without the sauce or cheese. I highly recommend you try this for your next pizza night.

$7 Caesar salad

As I had said in my previous review, normally it is a good experience when you order from inside. On Christmas Eve I stopped in for a beer with my husband and placed an order to eat some things there, but also got some food to-go. The food we had there tasted fine, but it came out about 20 minutes apart from each other (it was a hot dog and mozzarella sticks) When the to go food came I checked the salad (luckily) and the box wasn't even full (it's $12 for the full Caesar salad) and the lettuce was all brown. When I told the bartender I'd rather have a refund then take that salad she literally told me they were trying to get rid of old lettuce first but "she could cut some fresh for me if I wanted" wtf. I'm also glad I checked that bag because we got charged for extra Caesar dressing and they didn't even give us any at first. Unfortunately I should have checked our deep dish pizza as well. We ordered a deep dish with garlic on it. Bartender repeated the order to us and everything. Got home and it had pineapple ham and peppers on it. Luckily I don't mind a Hawaiian, but why is it so hard to get what you order here.

Only thing good tasting is the mozzarella sticks and Chicago dogs. (Celery salt was on pickle, instead of dog, but owell!) Pizza tasted like a frozen pizza. It was honestly quite disgusting. We went on a birthday because of the reviews, but were sorely disappointed. The pizzas we ordered came out burnt, so that didn't help either. Drinks were empty, and you had to ask for refills. You have to ask for napkins. This was our first time, and because of that, we won't be going back.

Customer service is great. All the employee's that are servicing the family's eaten pizza and drinking soda they don't stop smiling. They are always checking on them which to me is a great thing. Your not forgotten after your serviced. I got a veggie pizza thin crust and it was absolutely delicious. The sauce was good, not a canned taste to it. BLUF is it was a damn good pizza. With the way inflation is hitting everyone I can see why it was a little pricey. But the server easily make you forget what you paid with the exception service. Definitely will return. Thank you.

Stuffed pepperoni supreme with black olives instead of mushrooms. YUM!

Great pizza in Clarksville! I also recommend the pizza puff...If you are from Chicago it's just like one from a neighbor pizza place!

Service is extremely slow regardless of style of pizza you order. Been there a few times to give them benefit of the doubt.

I grew up with my family grilling outside quite often. It was usually good enough weather, if not…read moretoo hot to barbecue. However, that didn't stop my parents from cooking our favorites. So, can you guess what mine was?! Duh. Hot dogs! Now, over the years, I've tried all brands and kinds. This place offers some delicious ones, including brats and polish sausages alongside regular dogs. Sometimes, I like them plain. Sometimes, I like chili and cheese on them. Whatever and however you like yours, they will accommodate! Pop & Dogs is a husband and wife team just out doing what they love and enjoying it! So, checkout their FB page to see where they might be. Or, just message them to find out. They have been at their Weatherly Drive spot a couple times when I went to the VA and at their spot on Wilma Rudolph Blvd the first time I saw them. That was an incidental finding as I was looking for another place to eat at the time. But, SO glad I saw them. Read their story. It's great and I love supporting small, local businesses. You can choose your chips and drink with the combo. Otherwise, dogs are $3 and specialty ones are $4. Not a bad deal. Combos are $6 for 1 dog and $8 for 2 dogs. Pretty great deal! So, if I love them so much, why did I take off a star?! Well, because I can't sit and eat at their location. I have to take it and go. I know they're small, but maybe a portable, even plastic, garden table & chair set can be thrown in the back of their pickup truck. Sorry, I'm just not one to stand and eat. I gotta sit down to enjoy my food & drink. It'll just end up on the ground if I tried to juggle a combo trying to eat it standing up! They take cash or cards. Okay, maybe I am being picky. I'll give them the extra star just for being so friendly and having quick service. I mean, Paul did come up to my window once to take my order and to hand everything to me so I didn't have to get out of the car myself. Lol There! It's back. 5 stars!

I usually catch them at Ashley Furniture on tuesdays from 11:30-2pm, and this last time, the drinks were even bigger and I got a complimentary cookie as a surprise.
