The place is nice with a relaxing atmosphere. Where my issues started are you have to get your own drinks like your at a convenience store. No glassware for pricy drinks. You order at a counter and then bring it to your table. My appetizer was meatballs that came out rather quickly and then to find out they were stone cold. Told the server that they were cold she took them back then they were returned with our entrees. Pizza was good and way daughter and son in law had the pasta. They said the sauce was a bit greasy. My wife had the lasagna and said it tasted microwaved. They have a great pizza oven that they could warm dishes in but with the speed it came to our table was definitely microwaved. I really wanted to love this place. I spent lots of time in Italy and was hoping for a great dining experience. I spent months in Milan and Venice.

The food was amazing! I had the ravioli with truffle butter mmmmm my fries had lasagna, everything was great. We took pizza home for the family. And we got this yummy dessert. Anthony was so friendly. We will be back!

The restaurant is clean, bright and inviting. The staff are very friendly and helpful. It's more like a fast food place where you order at the counter so be prepared. The pizza was good, the center was a bit floppy for my personal liking but the crust was nice and thick, just how I like it. The cheese was a bit on the thin side, though. The lasagne, I already saw reviews that it wasn't good but my friend raved about it so I wanted to give it a try. It was very bland, the pasta was soggy, and the cheese on the side is hardened and black (kind of like when you microwave something and it burns). It was the 1st item to come out which is unusual for lasagne, I'm 98% sure it was indeed microwaved as it was not piping hot, plus the cheese comment above. It also tasted cheap and the portion small, see photo for reference. For $18, I was extremely shocked and disappointed. I also only ate half of this tiny lasagna because I didn't want to waste my calories. I'm 90% sure it is not homemade, other review support this conclusion, although they have upgraded the black microwave containers to an actual plate now, but not enough to fool me I'm afraid. The rosemary parmesan fries: had a lovely crunch and soft center which was perfect. They were a tad on the salty side and not a shred of rosemary to be seen. There is an entire rosemary plant outside the restaurant so it's not like they couldn't source any of the herb. See image. The 'focaccia' they serve at the beginning, was more like stale flatbread. Focaccia is supposed to be thick and fluffy looking bread but the one they served was almost like old pita bread, but hey, it's free so can't complain. I'm surprised the owners are supposedly 'Italian' due to the poor food quality, but then again, being Italian doesn't automatically mean you can cook. Also, it's more a fast food type place so can't expect much. I originally am from Europe and have been to Italy (many different regions) several times so I think I can judge even the smallest amount. Regardless of that fact, I have no trouble distinguishing what is good food and what is not. And finally, when asking for basic tap water to drink, we were told we could get some from the bathroom.... wow. Water is a basic thing a restaurant should offer without having to pay $3 for a small bottle of water. I know the owner is probably going to reply with some snarky comment as he has done with other negative reviews on G oogle, which will just further solidify my decision not to return.

Terrifically yummy food, even the oil and vinegar for the bread was top notch. Love when my lasagna is mostly smooth with just a touch of outer crunch!

    Pizza!

We were expecting a nice Italian restaurant but this was more of a glorified fast food place. Wouldn't go back.

If you are looking for authentic, house-made Italian comfort food, you will love this restaurant…read more The ambiance was comfortable and quiet, making it an ideal choice for a relaxed dinner where you can actually hear the person across the table. I had the House Sampler, which is a great chance to try several different menu items: Lasagna, Chicken Parmesan, and Fettuccine Alfredo. The Lasagna and Chicken Parmesan were excellent--perfectly seasoned and clearly prepared with fresh, house-made ingredients. The Fettuccine Alfredo was good and served as a nice, creamy addition to the plate. My wife had the manicotti and thought it was great; it's definitely a winner if you're a fan of stuffed pasta. What really made the night was our server, Marin. She was great--professional, friendly, and incredibly attentive. We never had an empty glass, our items were served hot and accurate, and she checked on us regularly to see if we needed anything. It's rare to find service this seamless. Between the quality of the house-made dishes and the top-tier service from Marin, we had a wonderful experience.

The second time, we were seated fairly quickly; service was pretty slow after that. Food was given out at vastly different times. I had my full salad and my meal came with a second round of bread before my girlfriends plate. The person serving our food also had chipped nail polish and smelled of urine. Our waitress also kept disappearing towards the end of our meal. They clearly focus on larger parties (not more than 5) because we were only checked on once the entire time. I had to wait an extra 15mins just to get my check.

We started with a bacon wrapped shrimp appetizer that was amazing - great flavor, large shrimp and the sauce was perfection. For dinner, three got the chicken piccata - hands down the best I've ever tasted. The chicken was delicious and that sauce I'll be thinking about for a while. It was served with a large serving of asparagus that was also cooked well. The other dish we had was the shrimp scampi, which was also good but nothing could compare to that piccata. Finished with the limoncello cake and went home happy.

This review is based on my family's experience as a small group of 3 within a larger group. I ordered a glass of wine and the panzanella. My panzanella came out with only cucumber and onion and a tiny bit of tomato. There was no fresh basil or home made croutons. I did ask and our server brought be a small ramekin of dry croutons and basil leaves to complete my salad. My husband ordered the chicken Caesar salad. It was ok, but nothing exciting. Certainly not worth $18. My son had the kids baked rigatoni which was very good. The meat sauce was delicious. The best part of the meal was the bread an this amazing homemade pesto. It was very garlicky and so very good.

It was very busy around 12:30 mid-day, but I was seated immediately. There is downstairs and an upstairs that looks over the first floor. They have a huge menu. Lots of pub fare. Beer cheese, nachos, various pizzas (tons of combinations, most with lots of meat, and you can create your own). They also have flatbreads (again, several combos, some veggie, some meaty). Entrees include steaks, pork chops, grilled chicken, chicken tenders, salmon, and shrimp tacos. Large selection of sandwiches (turkey, clubs, BLT, reuben, prime rib). And at least 10 different types of burgers. I had the cowboy, made with Monterey Jack, bacon, sautéed onions, mushroom, lettuce, tomato, and pickle). Huge burger (I only ate half). The fries were hot and tasty. The burger arrived medium as I had ordered and the produce seemed fresh. The mushroom and onion flavors were lost somehow, and the burger could have used a little more seasoning, but overall solid for being local to Clarksville. I had a couple of cocktails, some type of margarita with cranberry, and a basic mule. They were fine, but nothing special and nothing I would order again. They have a ton of beers here, and that's what they are known for, so if you're a beer drinker, that's your best bet. They have brunch on the weekends. My server was attentive and kind.

I can't leave tips for this business, so I'll just put them here:…read more 1) This business is meant to replicate Chicago-style pizza, to include the overall experience. If you've never been to Chicago, you have no idea of the significant difference between what the rest of the country calls pizza and the pure gem that is Chicago-style pizza, so don't ignorantly review this spot with ignorant assumptions that it's just like the rest. 2) Part of the experience of Chicago-style pizza is the waiting period. Eating pizza in the midwest INCLUDES a long wait time because they make it fresh on the spot when you order it. So expect a wait! Playing table games or good conversation is what is usually done during this time because spending time with your family is PART OF THE EXPERIENCE. 3) Chicago-style pizza is often referred to as "pie" because it's just as deep as an actual pie. Also, the sauce is ON TOP of the pizza, while the "toppings" are the inside. I have been waiting forever to get a pizza from here! They said it was "Chicago-style", but if you've ever eaten pizza in Chicago, you know it truly is a style all its own, so I was anxious to see if their claim is accurate. Anyway, I'm beyond excited to report that, yes, it definitely IS just like buying a pizza in Chicago! Woohoo! We only ordered take out but I do want to eat in for my next visit. They have various table games to play while waiting for your pizza to be cooked-so cool. Staff seemed to be very courteous, but again, it was only take out, so not much time to accurately gauge staff interaction. Looking forward to eating in! Thanks for bringing the infamous Midwest cuisine to Clarksville!
