Coming here from San Diego. This is probably the best Mexican food I've ever had. Tex mex is the way to go. Literally got the shrimp diablo house Special with mozzarella cheese all on top and it was delightful. They have music vendors coming in and out of the place. Pretty awesome. Food came with soup and chips.

We ordered the shrimp ceviche tostada and fish tacos. Both plates were delicious, and as lunch specials, cheap! The shrimp was fresh and the tostada was LOADED with it. They asked if the fish should be grilled or fried. I tried it fried and it was excellent--flaky and the batter was tasty. The restaurant itself is a bit on the dingy side and could stand a deep clean and sprucing up. The drinks were also pricey--a Mexican Coke was $3.50 and a Topo Chico was $2.50. Those prices could definitely be lower considering how inexpensive they are at other establishments. Highly recommend however, and I will definitely be returning.

Flavor was amazing in shrimp tacos! They were crunchy though which I have never had. Shrimp Diablo was AMAZING and had mozzarella cheese which was unique. The flavor was perfect although it could have been a tad spicier. Open late night so stop by if you're in the area! Only complaint is service was a little slow even though only four tables were seated.

Main course was Camarones a la diabla & coctel de camarones! First of all, one waitress for like the whole restaurant. The coctel was hot keep in mind these are to be eaten cold! Probably the worst part of it honestly. The restaurant is kind of dirty and the utensils were sticky!

Awesome place, the food was great and great service. I had guachinango mojo de ajo and loved it. We had shrimp cocktail and we enjoyed it. Great seafood at a good price.

The best seafood restaurant in San Antonio! Have tried almost everything off the menu and everything is delicious! The Michelada's are sooooo good!!! The service is great. My family and I are always treated as family when we walk through the doors. Every plate is decently priced! Would highly recommend this restaurant!!

Why did the cameron pelado close on pleasenton road?

The X partners didn’t let us know. We really didn’t have anything to do with them the last few years they were open

When they arrived I dug in. I'm not sure why but they just didn't have the flavor I associate with chilaquiles. I certainly ate it but with a bit of disappointment. My friend got a lighter side luncheon plate which she enjoyed. The environs of the venue are charming and attractive. Bright colors, interesting art work and decor. There is a full bar and several separate eating areas. Service was good and quick and staff was friendly. We were absolutely freezing in the air conditioning and grabbed some jackets from the car. The frigid temps and the adequate but not amazing chilaquiles were the only negatives, and price point was a very inexpensive $25 plus gratuity for both of us.

We walked in later than we usually eat dinner (around. 9:45 PM. Even though they about an hour to close, there was still a relatively large crowd there. We sat at a table in the bar area. Our server was Justin. He was incredible. He gave great recommendations and was prompt, courteous, and had a great personality. We ordered a frozen Paloma and I was told that it was incredibly good The queso was solid. We all tasted each other dishes and I didn't hear one complaint about anyone's food. The Dad's plate with the beef fajita was so good. The beef fajita was some of the best fajita meat I have had. The poblano enchiladas were beyond compare. I make a creamy poblano sauce, but this may have been better. The Burris quesadillas were tender and full of flavor. The Al pastor street tacos were excellent as well. These days, no place you go out is really "cheap." So, if you are paying for dinner out, you really want it to be better than what you would make at home. This place fit the bill with generous portions and high quality food. When we are in town, this will definitely be our go-to spot for TexMex.
