This is a quaint and small establishment with minimal outdoor seating facing the busy avenue. We came for brunch in a busy weekend morning. We didn't have to wait too long to get seated, we sat indoors. Food was very good.

Awesomely priced food, great service, & delicious food. The wait staff make us feel welcomed & are ready to serve us. The parking is whack, people park how ever they want in the back, so try to park upfront. I like their carne guisada & cheese enchiladas. The caldo de res is super delicious with large servings of papas, carrots & carne. The tortillas are warm & soft. Check them out.

Very small and a lil crowded it the worst I can say about this restaurant. Because the food was delicious and hot. The amount of spice they add to there meals was perfect and full of flavor. If you're looking for a Mexican restaurant that's has all your favorite dishes you definitely need to come here it won't miss!

This is my go to Mexican restaurant SO BOMB!!!! Everything I've eaten here is amazing & that's that I haven't even tried everything, I'm stuck on the cheese enchiladas, THE BEST IN TOWN.. hands down! I've eaten cheese enchiladas at several restaurants & no one tops Blue Moons. The sweet tea is on point along with the lemonade. The tortillas are on point, the menudo is just right! I definitely recommend this place and the ladies here are super welcoming and sweet! I also love the play list everytime it's on point I'll never stop coming here no matter how far I live.

Mexican food made with love! Always consistently great! Staff are always friendly. No sense going anywhere else for Mexican food.

Another down home Mexican restaurant in the heart of the Southside. I had the huevos rancheros, with carne guisada, beans, and papitas. All delicious, perfectly prepared, the guisada was perfection with a dash of salt. The potatoes didn't look like much, but expertly fried and seasoned-so tasty. The flour tortillas were heavenly, soft, buttery, and magnificent. The corn tortillas were good but the flour was so much better. The menudo with pata was good, but very spicy and not for the faint of heart-it didn't help I added even more salsa picoso. The pata here didn't really add much, it needed more time in the pot. But in totality -food quality and friendly service-outstanding!

This is the quintessential little restaurant that could/can/will be doing delicious Tex-Mex and I'm here for it. Nestled on the Southside of SA, in the shadow of Burbank HS & the SAISD Sports Complex, you have arrived into a family run, neighborhood staple (atleast 30+ years) and by looks & tastes of it-they're not done yet. I stopped in for breakfast tacos recently and was not disappointed. I ordered the chicharrones en salsa plus a carne guisada (my table-mates swore by it) and they were delicious. Homemade tortillas were delicious, fluffy AND fresh- Everything was freshly made. They had two salsas-the constant green salsa and then there was their signature chile arbol red sauce-it tasted good and the heat snuck up on you...NICE! Please note that this restaurant is quite small, maybe 15 tables max, but people were willing to wait or opted to go, so be patient. Everyone was warmly welcomed (and they actually made eye contact and meant it!) and the service was efficient & friendly. Dally (ample portions) specials-both breakfast & lunch just look for their whiteboard by the register. I'll be back as soon as I can. TY Blue Moon!

Talk about authentic! This little place packs a huge punch when it comes to food and service. As soon as you walk in you're greeted with a huge, "hello and welcome", followed by a very attentive staff and great/fresh food. Great place to bring family and fri

This restaurant came highly recommended and it did not disappoint. On our drive from Ft. Worth to San Antonio, we discovered that the restaurant closes at 3 pm so we booked it there. When we got there, they were closing early at 2:30. We asked for an alternative place for food, and instead they said don't worry about it and fixed us 2 plates of the day's special. Carne guisado, beans, and rice. It was hands down one of the best meals I've eaten. Blue Moon has been around for 50 years and it's not hard to see why. The service was friendly, the food amazing, and hospitality off the charts. Stop in if you're in town!

Delicious! Service was amazing. I really enjoyed the lemonade. I used all the salsas including the one they give you for your chips and honestly might have been my favorite one.

This is my neighborhood restaurant. Service is always great here and I'm always excited to be back! The food is always delicious and fresh! I honestly think they probably have one of the best bean and cheese tacos in town. I don't think I've ever had a bad meal here. Don't sleep on this place!!!!!!

Pair that with their handmade thick chips, and you're already winning. Then came the mini tacos: chicken, birria, and barbacoa. The chicken surprised me by being the standout, juicy, tender, and perfectly seasoned. The birria followed right behind with that deep, rich flavor that makes you stop mid‑conversation. The margaritas? Smooth, refreshing, and sneaky enough that you don't realize how strong they are until you stand up. What sealed the deal was the service. The staff was kind, patient, and didn't rush me even though I lost track of time chatting on the phone. They even let me hang out until my Uber pulled up. Tlahco isn't just good, it's amazing. 10/10 experience.

I'm not a big fan of chorizo, but I do seek out unique variations of eggs benedict, and this one fit the bill, so I went for it. The flavor combination was perfect, and I wasn't overwhelmed with chorizo. If you like eggs benny, give this variation a try. You won't be sorry! The refried beans - I know it's silly to review beans, but these were a bit different than the normal ones we find in SA. They had a bit more texture, unlike the overly blended beans we're used to. Chef's Kiss goes out to these beans! The potatoes - we weren't sure what the seasoning was, but we think it was adobo. Whatever the seasoning is, it puts them over the top as far as breakfast potatoes are concerned. Good stuff! Just a couple of notes: We didn't get tortillas with our breakfast. It might have been an oversight, or our meals didn't come with them. Not sure. The service was great, but depending on the server you get, you might need to know some Spanish. I give them 5 solid stars for breakfast.

From the moment I walked in, I could tell this place was special. The atmosphere is beautiful, upscale, and inviting. The architecture and design throughout the restaurant are absolutely stunning. Even the restrooms were impressive and reflected the same attention to detail found throughout the entire establishment. The food was outstanding. Every dish was beautifully presented and packed with flavor. This isn't your typical restaurant experience--the menu is creative, unique, and offers something different. You can tell a lot of thought goes into both the preparation and presentation of every plate. What really made the experience unforgettable, though, was the customer service. My waitress, Kreizon, was absolutely amazing. She was friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely made me feel welcome throughout my visit. Great service can make a good meal even better, and she definitely elevated the entire experience. The outdoor dining area is also beautiful and creates a relaxing atmosphere that's perfect for enjoying a meal and taking in the surroundings. If you're looking for a restaurant that offers exceptional food, incredible ambiance, unique architecture, and top-notch customer service, Domingo is a must-visit. Electronic dance music pulsed quietly in the background. The toilets were all individual unisex stalls that were classy, mine had run out of hand towels. It had a great spicy zing in the back of the throat after every sip. Queso was... kinda plain. It might have been better with the add chorizo option. It was very thick. Shrimp cocktail was big, but we started fighting over the shrimp pieces. There was plenty of onion and tomato left over after the batttle. Pollo Asado was a great flavor and the chicken was juicy. Grilled squash that was on the side was good. Chicken enchiladas were good and had freshly sliced jalapeños, which is always a welcome detail. I wasn't able to taste the quesadilla but my daoughter said it was "really good". Fried Chicken sandwich had a great flavor and the bacon was actually pork belly if I'm not mistaken. Sadly there was more batter than chicken. The seasoned fries were delicious and crispy.

The verde was amazing and the roasted tomato was great, just not spicy at all. I tried their combo fajitas and was thankful they came out being simply plated, rather than on the blazing hot, sizzling skillet - I don't need the show, just the good eats. The meats were decent, the beans were amazing. The tortillas were just ok, as I felt like they were way too thick. They offered corn tortillas too, but I'm in Texas, so you get flour, not corn. It was delicious! The concha was soft, buttery and flaky, with just the right sweetness. We took home the majority of it and it stayed nice and soft instead of turning hard like so many others. We decided to try several appetizers to go along with our concha to get a wider taste of their food than we would by just ordering a couple entrees. Let me tell you, this was a great idea! We ordered the Tosti-Ceviche Verde, Panela Asado, Mexican Street Corn, and their Spicy Bean Dip. The Ceviche Verde was excellent, the freshness of the fish and shrimp was wonderful with the chipotle mayo and avocado. We chose to have it on the salsa Verde Tostitos and it was all great combination. The Panelo Asado was a completely new dish for us and was extremely good with a savory flavor from the salsa Tlaquepaque that mixed well with the Panela cheese. Their tortillas though not made in house, are made for them and taste like mom made them. The Mexican Street Corn was great and had the perfect bit of char taste from the corn. It was creamy and flavorful, we did think it could use just a tad more lime juice though. The Spicy Bean Dip was very good. You can't go wrong with Oaxaca, Chorizo, and pieces of pork mixed with some mildly spicy beans. Our server was fantastic. She had great recommendations for us, and was quick with checking on our drinks and generally helping us throughout our dinner. The food was prepared quickly, was hot, tasteful and refreshing. We definitely will be going back, and recommend Pan Fila to all of you.
