Being from Cali myself, I was excited to support this business. I arrived at around 3 and the guy took my order but was complaining about people showing up "early". I told him his social media states he's open at 2pm on Sundays. I proceeded to place an order anyway which was my mistake. He was huffing and puffing the whole time and kept saying he was the only one cooking and prepping everything. I again said I didn't mind waiting the additional 40 minutes that he said it would take. Needless to say the order took much longer and was not worth the wait or the attitude. Disappointed because some people on his IG seem to have good experiences.

!!!! This is the best ceviche I have had in San Antonio. It's Tijuana style ceviche and seafood with an extensive menu especially for a food truck. I was really impressed with the quality and quantity of food! The camarón cocido tostada is made with cooked shrimp and could definitely be shared between two people. The shrimp tacos were fried with a delicious sauce and again huge portions. The truck is parked outside Porta Rossa bar with a nice patio that has plenty of seating. The staff are super friendly, great at explaining all the options, and quick to bring out your food.

This small food truck is located near downtown San Antonio. Bar far one of the best seafood places I've eaten at in a VERY long time. Brings me back to my trip to Cabo. Everything we got was amazing! What a great treat to stop by for my birthday! If you're looking for a true Marisco experience, this is the place to go! See more amazing photos of their food on Insta https://instagram.com/eljefebajastyle?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y= Thank you for such a great experience!

If any of yall are looking for some amazing fish or shrimp tacos or just seafood in general this place is it! My family and I stopped by this past Wednesday and they did not disappoint. We ordered the shrimp and fish tacos, and the aguachile tostada. The owner was really nice too. Let's just say we're going back tonight for some more tacos. Just thought I would share!

Super quick service and fair prices. The seafood was clean, great seasoning, and a huge selection of sauces for toppings. The staff brought our food to us promptly. Maybe waited five minutes. Delicious! Would go back to this food truck or a brick and mortar if they ever get one.

Every dish feels thoughtfully curated with tried-and-true recipes rooted in Chef Luca and his family's Northern Italian traditions. This is the kind of place where quality takes priority over quantity. Our server, Gary, was fantastic. He was friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, and passionate about Italian food and wine. His recommendations were spot-on and his enthusiasm felt so genuine. We started with a bread basket accompanied by a little sampling of tapenade, which was savory, briny, and a perfect complement to the warm bread. Came in with a group of four, we kicked things off with the burrata starter--a surprisingly fun and shareable adventure of baked burrata, fresh crostini, roasted cauliflower, asparagus, sun-dried tomatoes, artichokes, and basil cream. There was a lot happening on the plate, but it all worked beautifully together. For our entrées, we ordered the Tartufo, Cinghiale, Bolognese, and Carbonara. And let me just say, the Tartufo was a full-on dinner performance. Gary brought out steaming hot tagliatelle pasta and tossed it tableside inside a giant wheel of Parmesan. He then topped it with crab meat in brown butter before finishing it with a generous shaving of truffle. Every bite was like a perfectly timed symphony of flavors--rich, savory, buttery, and earthy, with nothing outshining the other. I'd put this dish up against anyone's nonna. I sampled the other three entrées as well, and every one was delicious. The gnocchi in the Cinghiale is an absolute must-try--pillowy, texturally delightful, and packed with flavor. Thank you, Nonna Osteria, for such an epic culinary experience. And a special shoutout to Gary for guiding us through the menu and making an already great dinner even better.

I love Feta so I really liked it, but if you aren't a Feta fan then maybe not for you. I'm always a bit hesitant to order salmon when dining. Sometimes it's too dry, but this was cooked more on the medium rare side and I love that. Shrimp grilled perfectly and great char flavor. Poor customer service, such as waiters basing their service on the tipping assumptions from certain customers and basic tasting food. I'm glad I picked Pappadeaux's to have my birthday dinner. My waiter, Craft, was pleasant and provided an amazing experience. Truly refreshing. I ordered the Mississippi Catfish Opelousas. So good. It tasted even better the next day when I ate the leftovers for lunch. I got two kids meals for my child. She had the buttered noodles and the shrimp with green beans. She loved it. I love dining out especially on weekends. Pappadeaux's will be my go-to place. I just hope the service stays consistent.
