Well hot damn! Looks like I found my new favorite place. After striking out on a couple of other bbq joints my wife found Luna's online and sent me on a mission. Not only is it way closer than any other bbq place we've tried but OMG the food is AMAZING! Brisket slices are thick, juicy, and packed with flavor. The Spanish rice and potato salad were tasty! Don't get me started on the Mac and cheese! It triggered my lactose intolerance, that's how you know it's to good stuff! We also indulged in some of their desserts which was a nice way to end the meal. I would give 10 stars if I could. Holy cow! This place is great. From the parking lot to the register. Clean establishment and friendly staff start the experience and the meat and sides are out of this world. It is somewhat tough to make a full conclusion on a BBQ joint with a sandwich, but from what I can tell, this is a solid spot for all your BBQ needs! We order the bbq chicken and it wasn't all that great. It was flavorless and dry, but I ate it anyway because I was so hungry.

I was traveling and Googled restaurants and Luna's BBq & more got my attention. I first thought I was going to a full on restaurants, but the restaurants is still under construction. I then thought to myself "how good can the food be coming out of a trailer" I was proven completely wrong. It was some of the best brisket that I have ever tasted. (I travel for a living and have tasted BBQ all over the US) I wish that I lived near this place because I would be here often. I love this place. L K has been around for years but recently stepped up their BBQ game and this couldn't come at a better time! The pork ribs are delicious, juicy and are probably the only ribs in town I crave on the weekends. Brisket, I have no idea how but it almost melts in your mouth like butter. Now, let me get to the sides.... The broccoli salad is my favorite because it's salty and sweet with hints of bacon and cranberry and nuts. Everything was excellent! We recently ordered 6 family packs for a birthday party and it was probably the most delicious BBQ I've had in San Antonio. Luna's Kitchen worked with me to get the pricing right, I ended up paying less than I would have thought for mouth watering brisket, ribs, chicken and sausage. Not only is the meat fantastic but the sides were out of this world, I have to recommend the broccoli salad and the mac & cheese but you really can't go wrong.
