Best authentic mexican and seafood place. My cousin owns this place and everytime we visit its a must to stop by for lunch. The shrimp are so delicious and the flavor and seasoning of any item here always stands out . The restaurant is small feels homie , it has a small bar and everyone is super friendly. The authentic cuisine is excellent , the food is made to order , fresh everytime , most of the time by the owner (he works alot). The prices are great for the amount of food and quality you get. There is enough parking on the lot or street .If you happen to be around the area stop by and have a taste of the delicious food.

Over the several past years the quality of the food remains great. Most amazing meaty shrimp and the flavoring is standout. The scale of spicy used is 1-10. If you like spicy then 8 is perfect. I have tried several of their Shimp plates. Almonds, veggies, Diablo r(red hot sauce), there are so many varieties that sound great. For the first time I didn't finish all my Shimp. They don't skimp on the shrimp. They also have burgers and chicken plates for those in your company that fear seafood. ;) It is a hole in the wall but a great find. It has survived over the years and probably because the food remains good. The is a ~4 person bar if you want to stop by for snack and a beer. Early on AC was an issue but it feels like that was fixed somewhat. Happy eats

It was our first time trying Peruvian cuisine. Sadly we did not have room for dessert. The vibes here super chill. I love the low lighting and music. It was a wonderful date spot. Our server was friendly and had a great sense of humor. Last note: the bathrooms were immaculate!

I'm from…read morethe East Bay and been to a handful of Peruvian spots back home but I can proudly say Señor Ají takes the cake for my favorite Peruvian restaurant. I'm even still thinking about the food while writing this review back home lol! Our entire ordered consisted of: - Beef Lomo Saltado - Arroz con Chanchito - Ensalada de Quinoa - Anticuchos de Corazon - 2 Empanada Samplers (one beef and chicken) - Aguadito - Side order of camote - Bread pudding for dessert of course The total price was pretty steep even prior to the final price after doordash tip so be prepared to splurge. However there will be enough food for some leftovers the next morning. Overall, my friends and I LOVED all the dishes. The proteins were tender and seasoned well. The cilantro rice and aguadito were so good that we're willing to try and find a similar recipe for us to perfect on our own. The bread pudding was amazing even the next morning. My friends and I will definitely dine in next time because we can only imagine how good the food must be in person if it were this good via delivery.

It truly feels like one of the most elevated dining experiences in the area, with incredible quality across the board. The atmosphere made it feel like we were dining in downtown Walnut Creek. Alyssa was also so incredibly accommodating and wonderful to work with while coordinating our reservation, which made the experience feel seamless from the start. She and Luis both provided exceptional customer service; attentive, warm, and genuinely welcoming. Highly recommend for dining, drinks, and overall great vibes. We'll be back soon!

Definitely need to come back!
