This was inarguably one of the best restaurant experiences my husband and I have had in years. The ambiance is an upscale vibe with chic Latin touches everywhere. The service was incredible! Within a minute of sitting down our server approached our table, explained the tapas style, offered menu recommendations and took our drink order. As fast as he could walk to the bar and come back, he brought us our drinks. And the food came out equally as fast, which was amazing given the place was packed (7pm on a Saturday night). We tried: Brisket empanadas 10/10, absolutely delicious! Bean and cheese pupusas 9/10, great flavor and texture. Anticuchos 8/10, cooked to perfection, it was just a little light on the seasoning. Esquites 9/10, the sauce was incredible, just super messy. Fried ice cream 10/10, the presentation was so fun and the ice cream was delish! Never once did we have a dirty plate sit at our table for longer than a minute or two. We had a full view of the kitchen area from our booth. Our server was prompt and very attentive. We ordered tapas and she did let us know the food would come out fairly quickly. Everything arrived between 5-15 minutes of ordering. Excellent service. I'd for sure come back here for the service. I don't think I'd order the chips and dips again. They provide Segura Vuidas Brut with the Mimosa flight (a bottle and four glasses prepped with the day's purées. We were looking forward to the blood orange, but they were out so they subbed raspberry for it, which is not on the menu, but what we would have taken a round of if they had let us. They came with yucca, plantain, regular chips. The yucca would have been great had they not been burnt. Regular chips were stale. The plantain were good The shrimp tostada blends into the masa which means you do not see it has the tails. When you are eating it you are fighting with your food and the hard shell. There is no point in leaving them on. Most concerning a piece of the shell got stuck to my husband throat which I noticed the waitress. We had an open face Cuban sandwich it was tasty. Finally made it up the mountain to Enye Latin Table in Clayton, and it didn't disappoint. The indoor is beautiful, but we chose to sit outside to enjoy a more intimate date night with a lovely view. We had coconut mojitos, which were delicious. We started with the rockfish ceviche which came with homemade yuca chips. It was a lot larger than most ceviches so we ended up taking part of it home to save room for the rest of the meal. We also had the corn ribs, which were tasty, but a tad bit messy. In the future, maybe they can provide either a wet wipe, or an extra napkin with them. We shared the short ribs picadillo special. Hopefully they add it to the main menu. It was so yummy and tender. Also shared the chocolate tres leches for dessert. It was beautiful, and one of the best desserts that I have had in a while. It was the perfect end to romantic date night. I dined here a few weeks ago and I was really impressed by the interior and atmosphere. Clayton definitely has a hidden gem in such a lovely area. We ordered a bunch of food to try and everything sounded very delicious but I think most items were not well executed. A couple dishes seemed like they were cooked in advanced and was probably on a warmer. I really wished they grilled their corn ribs because I love corn with a nice char but they were likely boiled because when I bit into it, it was very wet. We also ordered a mix of tacos which I thought needed some salsa but the carnitas with jam was very good! That was probably my favorite item. My friend really like the octopus but to me it tasted sous vide and I didn't like the texture. Mussels were good but I think they could've used a more crispier bread. We also got the pork chop medium and because it had a bone in it, the cook was pretty inconsistent but the parts that were cooked to our desired temp were good. The paella on the other hand was a bit disappointing. It lacked flavor & crispiness, and was pretty mushy. But enough with my feedback, the parts that I really did enjoy was the ambiance, their friendly service, that carnitas taco with jam, and their coconut cream mojito! I don't know if I would dine again, but I would definitely come back & bring friends over some drinks at the bar. Enye is definitely a vibe. I ate here on a night that an outdoor summer concert was happening at the park nearby. I was unaware of this fact; parking was very difficult. Totally not the restaurant's fault. The food was pretty darn good, but I was underwhelmed by the appetizer with different types of dip/salsa: they just were not that good. Drinks were nicely balanced but seemed weak. I really wanted to love this place. Ended up just sort of liking it, but don't quite feel the need to go back. Hmmm where to start. Beautiful atmosphere, servers are friendly and a beautiful aesthetic well done! I'll start by saying I'm incredibly torn about this place, and curious once the hype of it being new to Clayton, and typically that everyone just "loves anything new in Clayton" aka so automatic 10/10 to pass before giving it another chance. It was a busy night, incredibly LOUD. Oh my, the music would have been a nice pairing with the ambiance, I would have loved to dance a bit and relax in my seat if I could hear it. (Think David busters loud which didn't match and a bit disappointed) I would of went to a brewery or Ed's if I wanted to kick back and watch a game lol although a large pillar blocked our view of the tv anyways. We sat at a booth closest to the windows with a view of both the bar and kitchen. It was stunning to see them work from afar. Food was incredibly fast, I mean, sheesh 30 minutes, 5 tapas (yes I checked the time) no complaints typically there, but we did feel really rushed. I had to ask our server (which I barely could hear) to slow it down for dessert since I knew we would be served those very quickly. In and out under 1 hour. I wish we could have enjoyed more but I truly did feel stared at like please get up faster, eat faster.
