The red sauce on the enchiladas was best I've had in a long time. Usually red sauce is mild and subtle but this one was good on its own and I was pleased they put plenty. I had 1 cheese and with chicken. Both were delicious! The chicken was flavorful and moist. The rice and beans were good too! My fiancée had the chile relleno and chile verde burrito. He really enjoyed the chile relleno. The burrito was just the meat. He likes a little rice and beans in there too lol! We will be back! read more

Came as a group of 3 around 1:30, and got seated quickly. You seat yourself, so we got a booth. Ordered within a few minutes. Service was really great, small but quaint place. The ambiance is casual but very nice. At our table we ordered the combos with a green chicken enchilada, pork tamale with red sauce, carne asada taquito, compuesta with carne asada, carne asada taco, tostada, and Carne asada taquito. Cabbage and salsa with the chips were great, salsa was a bit spicier today but still delicious. Everything was delicious, the green sauce was our favorite, and the taquitos had a great crunch to them but were not overcooked. The compuesta was amazing, absolutely loved it. read more

They churn out some of the best Mexican food in this entire area. The waitresses are really nice here and easy to talk to in both English and Spanish and they always provide outstanding customer service in a timely manner. Nice Mexican food spot with delicious salsas and sauces. The chicken mole had a very mild heat with a slightly sweet taste which I loved. The salsa verde pork was also bright and delicious with a hint of lime flavor. Also really enjoyed the Frida inspired decor and the painted mural in the restroom. You make it IMPOSSIBLE to order anything for takeout when you purposely turn your phones off because you're busy and don't want phone orders. The saddest part is someone in the restaurant told us that this is a common practice there. It's very disappointing. La Morenita Livingston makes Taco Bell look like a 5 star Michelin restaurant. I ordered the shrimp diablo and they bring me shrimp ranchero. I call the waitress over to address this with her and she tells me that it is diablo. I know the difference between ranchero and diablo shrimp. In order to avoid making a huge scene in the restaurant, I let it be. On top of this, they avoided us like the plaque and only bothered to come over to give us the bill. Unbelievable, they mess up on my order and then try to fool me into believing I wasn't seeing what I was seeing. Rice was old and dry. Beans were like watered down Roserita refried beans. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, STAY AWAY FROM THIS LOUSY BLAND MICROWAVE FOOD. PLENTY OF BETTER MEXICAN RESTAURANTS ACROSS THE STREET WITH FLAVORFUL AUTHENTIC MEXICAN FOOD MADE FROM SCRATCH, NOT MICROWAVE CRAP LIKE THIS PLACE. The shaved ice for the sodas was the perfect touch with the meals and always good with Pepsi Products. Plenty of parking, it was our 1st time here and we had a pleasant experience. (Some of the negative comments on here are pretty extreme; Parking lot is fine, nothing out of the ordinary , with some Nice expensive cars parked outside... and another describing how the food looked on his "plate."
