    Chicken bowl

Very impressed by this Mexican-American Fusion spot. Came on a busy Saturday afternoon and waited a while for a table but I can understand why. Definitely as yummy and delicious as it looks. My favorite was the chicken bowl it was delicious with so many different toppings. They had a dulce de leche drink that my fiancé loved! Cute little spot for brunch date with friends or family. Very nice clean feel inside. Definitely recommend coming here.

Loved this place! I was trying to stay away from sugar so I didn't order one of the French toast varieties! They looked massive and delicious. The huevos rancheros were awesome. Salsa had the right kick and the avocado was fresh. Coffee delicious. We will definitely be back for another date.

So many choices! The food tasted AMAZING . Great and friendly service and we were seated right away for a party of two. I never knew about this place, but I will be DEFINITELY be coming back. I highly recommend this place! Enjoy!

We came here on a Thursday morning. We got sat right away. They have lots of booths, tables and I love the ambiance of greenery. My hubby had the red chillaquilles with chicken and I had the tres leches French toast. Both were delicious. I couldn't get a picture of the chillaquilles because my hubby ate them so fast. I did manage to take a picture of my French toast. We can't wait to come back!

Asada tacos, tortillas were fresh and beyond what I expected!

This spot is a hidden gem! The service is fast and everyone is seemingly happy and in a good mood. The food was delicious, everything was flavorful and came out perfectly. The restaurant is a bit smaller than I expected but the bistro is very cute. The only thing that sucks is that it was packed and we had to wait almost 40 minutes for a table for two.

Came here for brunch with my sister and mom. We ordered the Spicy Chicken + Waffles, Chilquiles & Taquitos with the Strawberry Match + Shaken Espresso. Food was really good with great service! Make sure you add a reservation via Yelp before showing up- the wait can be pretty long.

DELICIOUS is the only words to describe this place! Staff was very nice as well. Ambiance was very cute and clean.

This place has a cute vibe! The indoor decorations are nice. Lots of windows providing natural lighting. I went on a Saturday morning and it did seem to be busy. I joined the waitlist on Yelp which helped shorten the wait time. The staff is very kind and helpful. They took orders and delivered food quickly. The food was delicious. It was filling. The strawberry French toast was so refreshing. Just the right amount of sweetness. The coffees are good, the strawberry lemonade was ok. Tasted like artificial strawberry, wouldn't get the lemonade again.

Americano Classico with the Crème Brûlée French Toast

We're from Orange County visiting family and we really didn't find a lot of restaurants that were appealing up until now. We came across this gem. My wife had the chilaquiles with the green sauce and I had the Americano Classico with the cream brûlée French Toast and let me tell you, it was to die for and if I had all the time in the world, I would have love to order all of the food on the menu because everything looked so delicious when the waitresses were coming out the various assortments of foods (Oink Oink). The food did not disappoint. I loved the way our food was put together and the quantity, plus the inside of this restaurant was very modern and very welcoming. The seats at the bar which we were seated because we didn't want to wait were comfortable. The only downside is that the seats at the booth were slippery, so as soon as you are about to sit, your chair would slide, but other than that, We love this place. The service was impeccable, our server Jaylene was fantastic and we couldn't have asked for a better server, she was the best. I would definitely recommend Jaylene as your waitress and El Bistro if you're ever in this area of Modesto. We are now a forever customer when we come back up here again.

The food was so delicious! I got a stuffed croissant and it was so sweet and fresh tasting. The matcha is really good as well and my boyfriend got the habanero chilaquiles. The chilaquiles didn't really taste like habanero but we didn't even care cuz it was still just so tasty. Be prepared to wait if you go and join the waitlist on Yelp before hand. The restaurant itself was really nice decor wise and I can't wait to come back and try more things on their menu. They definitely have something for everyone.

Brought my sister here for a birthday brunch and the vibes were great! Very busy on a weekend which was expected. We were still seated quickly in the bar area which was nice. The food was amazing and was still good when I ate the rest at home for dinner! Some of the best coffee I've ever had as well! I usually take hours to drink my coffee but I slammed that ice latte back in 15 min. Would recommend if you are in the area but make sure to make a resy or be prepared to wait if you don't want to sit in the bar area.

5/21/26, had a great experience at this place. The restaurant was clean. The service was great and the food was fantastic. It was packed with flavor. I highly recommend this restaurant. Be prepared, there could be a wait because this place stays packed, but it's worth it. We ordered a chai tea and a caramel macchiato for starters, then ordered shrimp tacos and Chilaquiles with chorizo. Special shout out to the chef who created the menu and the cooks who made the food. Keep up the good work and see you next time.

Came here on Thursday at 1:30 pm to celebrate my daughter's 21st birthday and wow what a cute restaurant. Great service and food were delicious! I ordered the shrimp tacos and it was the best shrimp tacos I've ever had. We also ordered the mimosas and for the birthday girl they served pancakes and sang the birthday song. These pancakes were yummy! Will be back for sure.

I been wanting to try this place for a long time. I can't believe it took me this long to try them out. I was very pleased from start to finish. The service was excellent, the food was amazing and I was ultra impressed with the waitress explaining we can get gravy made with no pork and also for next time to ask for our home fried potatoes to also be cooked in non pork fat. ( I told her We don't eat pork ) It is so hard to find a place that offers no pork in their gravy. They went the extra mile to make us special non pork gravy on the spot, amazing. Also they fried our home fried potatoes in non pork oil, thats the extra extra mile of care and service and attending to a customers needs, I was completely satisfied. I cant wait to try more of the menu. Everything we ordered was good. The cinnamon bun was so good, I would go there just for that alone, yummy and fresh and moist and soft and so much frosting and yes I said and alot, AND? Haha Pro tip: if you dont eat pork ask for them to cook your potatoes in non pork oil and if you want gravy ask them to make non pork gravy. You have to mention it to your server, dont forget. Now go & enjoy, you can thank me later. Make reservations if possible or go on a slow day, the weekends are packed but worth the wait. They have alot of seating inside.

We had the country fried steak which was probably the best one I have ever had in my entire life! My sons had chorizo and eggs and the other one had chocolate pancakes, ham and eggs. The place was clean and for such a busy brunch we were sat very quickly! Service was amazing as well! The staff was so accommodating, friendly and professional! They were so hard working turning those tables over and checking on tables all the time. We didn't have to wait for plates to be cleared or refills of Iced Tea!! My husband gets different things on the menu when we go and he enjoys all of them. The only problem I have is it is so loud in there because it is such a small and confined restaurant. And I enjoy the live music being played. It's just such a tight confined little place. And you have to yell to talk to one another therefore everybody else here's your conversation. This is not a good place to go on a date or to get to know somebody over conversation. That's why you have Galletto's or Tresetti's down the street. But if you wanna go and have a quick breakfast, then this is the place. Though wait waitresses are always very, very nice. And the prices are great.

The food was just your typical diner type, greasy spoon kind of place. I got an egg white omelette with ham (looked like cut up pieces of thin sliced deli meat) and asked that fresh potatoes be boiled in water or steamed in water due to food allergy. What I got was fried potatoes. When I questioned the server he just said that's how they come. Do they not have raw potatoes in the back they could have boiled for me?? The taste of the omelette was meh and I only ate 4 bites. I obviously didn't eat the potatoes. The English Muffin felt oily, like someone touched it with greasy hands. I had asked for it to be dry and with no butter. So basically I didn't eat any of my food and will not be back (this was my third time here and none of the other experiences were any better.) Such a shame because it is only 5-minutes from my house. My dad ordered the chicken fried steak and my mom got the taco salad and both of their meals were inedible too. The food here is just BAD. I told the server I didn't like my food and he didn't even answer me. He took away three plates of uneaten food and no one asked if there was an issue and no manager bothered to come over to even talk to us or try and make it right. What a HUGE waste of money. Don't bother eating here...so many other places to eat that are so much better. This place was packed and no real waiting area...everyone just squished together. This is a hustling and bustling place, so if you are looking for a quiet spot, at least don't go when we did. Best part of this place is their wall for taking pictures. I think they care more about making things look IG worthy, than the quality of the product they are serving.
