    Frig, broken, missing knob.

Positive: Great price (2 queen/$102), easy access, convenient location, easy checkin, lots of close parking, very clean/fresh. Interesting vertical plant wall and unique artistic pics. Negative: 1st room: broken refrigerator, no knob, not cold. Ok, that happens. Call clerk, she apologizes and says she'll move us. Ok. We're tired after a 5 hour drive but we go back down, re-explain we need a frig and get room #2 keys. Another broken frig, no knob, not cool. We had taken a pic to show clerk the missing knob (see pic) and she says that's the knob. Ok, humor us, we need a cold frig. Now she earns the "maybe" and 3 stars. Clerk: "Well I can try another room but we can't let you try every room in the hotel. When you enter them we're supposed to treat them as dirty and have to clean it again. This 3rd room is all I can let you try." My jaw dropped and I matched her rude tone saying "we don't want to TRY every room in the hotel, we only wanted 1 room with a working frig." We assure her if this room's frig is broken we're done. Room 3 frig works but the fun, vacation vibe was killed. When we go out, come back the clerk's cheery hello, welcome back is replaced by silence. The 1st pic shows the missing knob, rooms 1 & 2. 2nd pic is our 3rd room. At no point did the clerk offer us a free soda for our trouble or a discount or ask Housekeeping to check a room "that's not their job", etc.

Hello,  At checkout I mentioned to the agent working the desk that my room had active black ants and a smell in the restroom from the sink water. They asked me to make sure I send an email.  I didn't ask to change rooms because Friday, after being up since 5am on my feet preparing a major educational conference and finally getting to my room after 10pm, I was too tired to think about moving or walk another step. For the restroom I kept the door closed.  Saturday same situation,  I left my room a little after 6am and didn't return until after 3pm, being on my feet running the conference as conference chair.   I've stayed at this hotel before and had a great experience and thought this would be a great host hotel for our conference.  This time around things weren't a positive memory/experience.

We stayed at the same hotel for many years for business several times a year and they just could never get everything fixed. We decided to take a chance on Cambria and could not have been more pleased. Vanessa sold the hotel when I called to ask a few questions. Beautiful room and IMPECCABLY clean! With difficulty coming out of lock downs and short staff this was not at all the case with everyone from the front desk, bartender to the housekeeping staff as we were graciously greeted and asked if we needed anything additional. This quality comes from the top and after speaking to manager to say what a wonderful quiet room we had and how pleased were we found out by her professional manner that the staff followed her lead. Everyone smiled and while that may not sound like a big deal, it is because it showed everyone was happy with their jobs and did them very well! Comfortable and tasteful room and felt very "at home" staying here. HIGHLY recommend!

Arrived here mid week for a conference. We booked a room with two beds; I arrived around 11am. The man at the desk told me, rather apathetically, that I wouldn't be able to check into our room until 1pm, at the earliest. They were sold out the night before and couldn't possible turn over all the rooms any earlier. So I was left without being able to shower until then. Understandable, but still frustrating. When I was finally checked in, they gave us a one bed room instead of a two bed, and stated they were unable to change rooms until the following day. They did this without offering any sort of compensation, refund, etc. for the inconvenience. In addition, the one bed's bathroom door did not close due to the extensive water damage at the bottom of the door. The tissue box was stuffed so poorly that I couldn't remove any without ripping them, and the lamp on the desk wasn't working. The next day, they moved our belongings to our new room for us while we were out at our conference. The new room's pull out couch had no sheets on it, was rather filthy, and the water temperature in the shower was barely hot for the next three days. Also of note - There were many instances of the front desk not being manned and interactions with apathetic employees throughout the weekend. Breakfast isn't complimentary (~$12/person, if I recall correctly). Restaurant and bar open at 5pm, and closing times range until 10 or 11pm. I don't remember exactly. Decent location in walking distance of a lot of places.

You will need this if the room next door is occupied.

I'll say I was quite impressed with this place until I went to bed, or tried to anyway. When my neighbors came to their room at 11:00 pm I heard every door open & close, every voice, every noise they made. I don't think they were yelling either but they were loud. Loud enough to keep me awake until they finally went to sleep. I guess this is why they have a couple of bottles of Sleep Sana sleep aid available for $2.99 in the room. Had this not been an issue I would have rated this place 4 possibly 5 stars. It was clean. The neighborhood was very nice. All of the shopping & restaurants near by are good options to visit if you don't want to eat here at the hotel. By the way I didn't have any meals available.

This place was awesome customer service was great. The employee John that checked us in gave off a really good vibe! I was also pleased that he gave us a second floor-room normally when we get a room they always try to put us on the third or fourth floor I guess because we looked young‍. I do not know why they do this considering we are a very quite couple and we came here to relax. Anyway it's definitely worth the money$74. The place was clean and the bed was comfortable. Anytime I get a room the first thing I do is check the showers to make sure that the shower drain water goes out completely. Itwas so nice and clean. The gym was really nice and equip also,oh and they had a pool that looks really nice just make sure you go at a certain time it can get pretty crowded. I give this place five stars and would definitely be coming back considering I was well rested

3:40 and rooms aren't ready! Grrr

Beautiful hotel. Room was large and comfortable. Restaurant was good. We were there for a concert but the hotel was crazy expensive for the shuttle. Uber was much cheaper.

They offer self park for $23 a night (May 2026) or valet for $45. We did self park. The lobby is very attractive and melds into the lounge area. We were greeted immediately at check in and the process was very easy. In terms of the room, our room (two queen beds) was definitely on the small size. It was functional but certainly one of the smallest rooms I have experienced in Dallas. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The room was clean and the carpet was not stained. The shower had a very strong water flow and was a sufficient size for one person. Overall, it is a very nice hotel. There is lounge and restaurant. The pool was supposed to be heated but in May the water was cold. The pool area has a small bar but beer options are quite limited. The best thing about the hotel is its excellent location. You are literally steps from Legacy West with the row of seemingly endless eating and shopping options. Having parked in the hotel lot, there was no need to drive and fight for scarce parking along the street. The reason for 4 stars is that at night we could hear loud music. I am guessing it came from a nearby bar or restaurant. The noise was loud enough to notice but not so obnoxiously loud as to prevent sleep. Still, the preference would be for quiet.

The main reasons for the three star rating are the check in process and my room. It took an hour and a half for me to get my keys because someone either hadn't booked my room or booked it incorrectly. After a long day of travel, I wanted to rest, freshen up, and eat, but I had no such luck. It really put a damper on my day. Secondly, once I got to the room, I had other issues. It smelled incredibly musty and I knew it was because the carpets needed cleaning. Some parts of the floor felt stiffer than others, indicating that something was spilled on them. I was so hungry and was actually willing to pay for minibar snacks, but there weren't any (no drinks either except for water). I was also hoping for a more generous bathroom setup as well (makeup wipes, etc.). The water pressure in the shower was a bit too low as well. On the plus side, this hotel is within walking distance of many great restaurants and shopping. This experience wasn't the best, but they are typically a solid choice.

The pool area was good and our server was super helpful the afternoon we were there. The bad....we checked into our adjoining rooms and they both had this weird smoke smell. We asked to be moved but they couldn't move us to different rooms. Someone came in and sprayed some air freshener instead. One of the adjoining doors was broken and wouldn't stay open so maintenance had to come fix that. The closet doors also would not close all the way so the light stayed on all night. The room was damp. When you woke up in the morning, everything and I mean everything, was cold and damp. Even my shoes. The duvets seemed like they hadn't been replaced since they opened. They were paper thin and all the feathers were clumped together and uncomfortable. On Friday and Saturday night they had a bar and snacks out, but once everyone checked out on Sunday it was like a ghost town. Sunday night there was no bartender at the bar, no snacks out and no water in the lobby. For the price I was very disappointed and would not recommend it. I only gave it 3 stars because of the staff.

This is a gorgeous property in a fantastic location. Checking In & Perks If you aren't a member yet, definitely sign up before you arrive! Upon checking in, we were greeted with a complimentary drink and free WiFi. Karina handled our check-in and was absolutely wonderful--extremely amicable, professional, and the perfect example of excellent customer service. The Atmosphere & Unique Daily Themes One of the coolest features of this hotel is the daily theme hosted in the lobby: Day 1: A complimentary snack cart stocked with chips, candy, and water. Day 2: A fun trail mix station. A bourbon and burger event offered at a very reasonable cost. On our second day, we interacted with Rashad, who was also the absolute epitome of customer service. The staff here truly goes above and beyond. The Rooms & Amenities The rooms are incredibly large, spacious, and well-designed. Our room faced the mini-field at The Star adjacent to the hotel. Even though the hotel was completely at full capacity during our stay, the room was remarkably quiet. The soundproofing is top-notch. The bathroom was equally spacious. We did have one minor hiccup where a provided bath towel was visibly dirty, but the staff handled it flawlessly, immediately exchanging it for fresh linens the next morning. The pool area is beautiful, and both the bartenders and pool attendants were incredibly attentive and quick with their service. Dining & Events We spent some time at Neighbors, the on-site bar and restaurant, and sat on the patio to people-watch. There are also plenty of other great restaurants within short walking distance. As for the birthday celebration, the event space was stunning. The decor leading up to and outside of the ballroom was beautiful and incredibly well-executed. The event food and drinks were great overall; the only minor drawback was that the fries were a bit too salty, but the rest of the meal was delicious. A Special Highlight As an added bonus, Samuel L. Jackson was filming a spinoff of Tulsa King right when we arrived! Despite the production hustle and bustle, the hotel staff did a seamless job of accommodating regular guests and maintaining a premium experience. In closing, I highly recommend this property for its spacious rooms, stellar location, and a team that truly understands hospitality. We will definitely be back!

Overall, I was really impressed! I've been to several conferences in my lifetime and this one felt professional, yet also elegant and warm at the same time from the set up and the snacks and formal dinner that were offered. Our conference had between 125-150 attendees. First of all, they had multiple rooms with multiple set ups, but all on the same conference hall wing. It felt very private. Not really any outside people strolling through because not much else is on that end of the hotel. All of the technology (including live video chat incoming to the room, playing videos during the conference, mikes, and video recording for later AND the lights and music of the amazing dance floor that night) worked as it should. They were kind enough to store a large sheet cake for us in the fridge until dessert. During the conference, they provided an incredible array of comfort/snack foods that you will see in my pictures. For dinner, we had an amazing several course meal starting with a seafood bisque with a flaky pastry crust, filet mignon, with delicious sides, and ending with an apple pie with the same amazing flaky crust, which is totally my weakness. That night I shared a room with other participants and slept on the couch since they already claimed the king bed. It was actually really comfortable! We had the doors open between our room and the room next to it which was super convenient for all the back and forth we had to get things needed downstairs for the conference. The hotel was always so helpful when we kept misplacing keys every time we loaned them to someone else who just had to run up and grab one more thing. All of the staff I interacted with had that great southern hospitality with a blend of professionalism. The next morning we grabbed the hearty buffet breakfast downstairs and I got a custom omelette, a biscuit with gravy, fruit, and a few cups of coffee! It was just what I needed to fuel me for my bus trip to spend under 24 hours in Waco, including #MagnoliaMonday! I highly recommend this hotel to stay or hold your event here! It was also a reasonably priced Uber ride from the airport to get here!
