Then I called the number that was directly linked to the website and asked if it was busy and if I could do a walk-in. The person on the phone said it wasn't busy and that I could come in. My favorite nail place in the valley! They always do such great work and are super quick to get you taken care of. I've never had to wait more than a couple minutes for a walk in. They always make sure to get your shape just the way you like it and are very patient if you're a little nitpicky like I am. The shop itself is also nice and spacious, and doesn't feel as cramped or crowded as many of the other nail places around town. Definitely go here! I unfortunately will not be going back to this place. It is a great location for me from my house, and the people that work there are extremely nice, but the actually nail service was not good. I went to get my nails fixed because my dip powder had been bumpy and it's top coat not even or shiny. They just threw some gel polish over it, so when I walked out they looked fresh and nice. A day later the gel polish is all peeling off and my nails look even worse than they did when I had just the messed up dip power. read more

A rude female nail tech in her 50's, who I won't name, was frustratingly lacking in accurate vocabulary to understand our simple request for "thin, horizontal lines" to be painted across one nail. Becoming inappropriately defensive in her confusion, she inexcusably raised her voice, verbally snapped and, slammed her polish bottle on the table - all toward my very polite, civil, and startled 16 year old(!) daughter. Shockingly, no one intervened and no one apologized; they simply pretended nothing happened. We'll never set foot in there again, and recommend that you don't either. read more

I'm so disappointed in the service, I came in with a few broken nails and asking for them to take them off and get a gel manicure. Everything was fine until the woman that did my nails, started to complain in Vietnamese about how hard it was to take off acrylics. Hmm, this is a nail salon isn't it? Can't say enough about how amazing this place is. Moving here having gone to the same nail lady for 12 years I was hesitant to trust a new place. They have gone above and beyond my expectations, the salon is extremely clean and the staff is always so kind and professional. I was looking for something to be opened on Memorial Day and found that Kenzies was near by and rated well. I was so disappointing by the service and lack of attention to detailing. I asked for something specific, and while my tech was having conversations with the tech next to her, she completely missed what I had requested. She was rude, and lacked on giving quality service. This place has really gone down in service. My experiences have only gotten worse here. Today, my nail tech took a smoke break while the acetone was soaking my gels off. I know he went on a smoke break because he smelled so clearly of smoke when he got back. He scraped the gel off my nails so aggressively that he took the top layer of my nail off. My nails are naturally long and fairly strong, but while they were soaking in water, I could immediately feel how weak they had become. I chose a light color and he only did two layers of gel, leaving them incredibly splotchy and see through. I asked him politely to do another layer, which he did, but it still clearly wasn't enough gel. I just asked for them to be filed slightly round but I ended up with pointy nails that were all crooked and different lengths. And due to his smoke break, I walked out with my hands smelling so strongly of smoke, and haven't been able to get rid of the smell since leaving. I'm only posting this review in hopes that the salon makes the appropriate changes to keep their current business, because I've had multiple friends stop going to this salon due to consistently poor experiences. read more

Pedicure was not so good for it being super basic it was painful my nails aren't even painted all the way and my toes are scratched however the tech that did my manicure cut my nail way too short and hurt me, he took blood out on my cuticles and my nails where long and he cut them so short my nails are super sensitive now and all uneven and jagged. Wouldn't come here again but I guess it's average way too over priced for mediocre services read more

Kensie's gets "a" star only because,so far, they've done really good work on my daughter. Maria specifically. HOWEVER, I took my daughter in yesterday to get her nails acrylic filled and a gel manicure. That's it! Nails turned out great (not Maria this time), however, my kiddo didn't get the pedicure she wanted (rocks), and then WE WERE CHARGED $108 for the fill and pedicure! ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR MIND?!?! I wanted a price menu, which they conveniently didn't have, of course, and the non-english-speaking, or conveniently non-english-understanding nail tech was arguing with me on the price! Two gals that have done acrylic fills here (Maria and someone else) have done a great job. But before you get anything done....MAKE SURE YOU HAVE PRICING AGREED UPON BY YOUR NAIL-TECH AND THE....EXACT WORK TO DO!!! IDEALLY, IF THEY EVEN STILL HAVE THEM, HAVE YOUR PRICING SHEET RIGHT NEXT TO YOU THE WHOLE TIME! So they know they can't make up a price in another language of work you don't understand, and try to charge you extra for it. BUYER BEWARE!!!!!! My boyfriend and I were here in Phoenix for vacation and dropped by this salon on our last day here since it was raining. I got a gel manicure and he got a pedicure. The manicure was OK. I hate when they use the electric filer the entire time when usually salons do everything by hand with a file and buffer. A few times he touched the file to my skin which is never pleasant. Then, during the cuticle cutting portion, he cut my skin surrounding my cuticle enough to make it bleed. As we were paying, the woman who did my boyfriend's pedicure told the cashier to charge $5 extra for the sugar scrub. I asked my boyfriend afterwards and he said he didn't ask for that. So basically they charged us extra for a service he didn't receive or ask for. After we left, I noticed the manicurist didn't paint my entire nail and the sides of most of my nails are missing polish. A disappointing experience to say the least. read more
