I did not have any cavities and I did not have any fluoride or additional treatment. Next, I use dip so I get worried about mouth cancer. In the past, the dentist has said," just pop on in and get a quick screening". It takes about 10minutes, they shine a light in your mouth and check for abnormalities. I know how much this costs because I get it every time ($25), so I had it done while waiting to get in at a new dentist. I get the bill and I'm charged $120. They had charged me for a limited evaluation as well as the cancer screening. I had not had ANYTHING additional done and when I called about it they said that's a charge for the dentist stepping into the room to see me. When I called to ask about it, they said they'd call me back. After 5 days of no response, I called again and they pretty much told me to go F myself. I feel deceived and taken advantage of. I would not recommend Hilliard Modern Dental. Please don't go here.

However, Dr. Ferguson is so skilled and kind, that the experience was fine for me without the nitrous oxide. He knew I was anxious, and told me every step of the way what he was doing and about how far along we were. I had absolutely no pain either time. Both times the process was completed and new crown installed within about 2 hours. He also uses a special camera to create the new crown, so no goopy molds inside your mouth at all.
