I did not expect it to be soo spacious! It was a lovely stay! My family of 5 enjoyed it! The patio takes you to a beautiful hike and a view of the river! The staff were so helpful and kind! We payed $20 to park in the garage. Great price compared to what's around. Unless you find free parking. The garage door automatically opens up as you get closer to it! Overall an amazing stay!!

This review is for Ms. Autumn Batten (whose business card lists her as manager of Camel's Garden Hotel), Ice House Condos manager where we stayed for one night on July 16, 2025, in unit 301. The condo was ok except that the mattress on the sofa sleeper that we needed was made of nails and chicken wire! No human could have slept on it so my 75 year old cousins slept on the floor. Autumn told us we should've alerted the office about this situation when we discoverd it around 1:00am and they would've brought rollaways!! REALLY? At 1:00am? So I guess it's now the guests' job to find and report the room issues instead of Ms. Batten's management company who's paid by the condo landlords to be sure the unit complies with VRBO standards BEFORE the guests arrive! She supposedly refunded us the ridiculous resort fee which I have yet to see on my credit card but refused to refund the entire one night stay. Not the way to handle this issue if you want return business and no bad reviews for the landlord's property. Other minor issues included dirty outdoor balconies (this unit had 2) and the burned out master closet light bulb.

It's definitely nothing fancy, but it's hard to beat the location downtown and right by the gondola, so will give it four stars. We had a hard time finding parking to check in, but it turns out that you can pull right into their garage and take the elevator up. Their rooms are pretty plain, but the bathrooms are big and nice. My room had a portable air conditioner with a big vent to the outside which made it difficult to close the blinds and didn't make the room that cool anyway. The hot tub area is nice and they had some good choices for breakfast like cinnamon rolls and bowls of fruit. I would stay here again based on the location.

Awesome location! Room was big and beds were comfy - just super weird that there was no mini fridge or coffee. Breakfast was good!

Telluride Cubs Camp…read more I find it extremely interesting that there is nowhere on the internet to leave a review of Telluride Cubs camp specifically. We paid for two days of care at $310/day. One day of childcare in telluride is 2 weeks of child care where we live. When I dropped off the first day, they didn't want to know anything about my child and his needs. They just wanted me to drop him off with zero instruction. I witnessed the director rolling her eyes at another mother giving her the info she felt was necessary for her child. Anyway, when I picked my 15 month old up he was extremely fussy and unmanageable. I was told he ate good and slept good But when we got home, I've never seen him so unhappy and hungry. I got zero information on his day, what he ate, did or if he used the bathroom. Again, for this price, I'd expect a report, similar to what ski school provides. The second day I dropped him off they just flat out would not take him. They had 2 kids that I could tell there and told me they have a strict 9:30 drop off policy (It was 9:50). I'm sorry but for that price, you should take them any time the parent needs. When traveling with kids used to a different time zone, making it to mountains village by 9:30 can be extremely difficult when you're not staying there and focused on getting other kids ready. not to mention, NO WHERE on the internet is this drop off time mentioned. In fact, summer drop off is mentioned to be between 9:00-10:00, in which case we would have been on time. We will NEVER use them again. Save your money and book telluride sitters for half the price!!

Jasmine and I were expecting a weekend of comfort. We were greeted with a personalized experience we never could have imagined. The owner of this establishment - Ray - treated us like family. If I could give this establishment ten stars, I would. Everyone, from the hosts, to the bartenders, to the servers, to the housekeeping staff - everything was perfect. These are people that care about their guests. They care, and it shows. If you stay at this beautiful hotel, you will never want to stay anywhere else in Telluride. My gratitude and my appreciation know no bounds. Ray and his entire staff deserve your business, my business, and all of the business that comes their way. I cannot possibly say enough great things. And that isn't even to mention the gorgeous rooms that await their guests!! The rooms are amazing!! I'd give Ray and the New Sheridan 10 stars if I could. Thank you, thank you, thank you for one of the greatest weekends of our lives.

The hotel itself is charming, the room was very clean, and the staff was friendly and welcoming throughout our stay. The hotel is also pet friendly, which was a big plus for us traveling with our dog. The room was a little on the small side, but our biggest complaint was the lack of air conditioning. We understand it's a historic building, but the room did get warm. The hotel recommends opening the windows, but we were surprised they didn't have screens, so that wasn't an ideal solution. Parking is free, but there isn't a dedicated hotel parking lot. You'll need to park on a designated nearby block. The hotel does have a convenient unloading area in front, which made getting our luggage in and out much easier. One thing that was a little confusing when we arrived is that there are three separate entrances--one for the restaurant, one for the hotel, and one for the rooftop bar. We also found it a bit unusual that you walk through the restaurant to reach the hotel hostess/check-in area, but everyone was very friendly and happy to help. We also appreciated the complimentary coffee in the morning, which was a nice touch before heading out for the day. Overall, it's a charming historic hotel with an unbeatable location, friendly staff, and a pet-friendly atmosphere. If you don't mind the lack of air conditioning and a few quirks that come with an older building, it's a great place to stay in Telluride.
