We were able to make intelligent decisions to get the best possible care for Dusty within our financial situation. Second session we needed Jazz to sit on his bed during breakfast & dinner. While his owner in a wheelchair enjoys his meals. Jay accomplished that in half the session. Third session was walking. Being able to keep Jazz on my side and from growling at other people or dogs. In one session Jay empowered me to lead Jazz. A big task for some of us women who struggle with being pack leaders. We kept up with training honestly not every day. This weekend I was hiking alone with Racker in the hills above LA. I tripped and fell down a mountain breaking 3 bones. I was unable to climb up the rocks to make it out and had to be rescued by fire fighters and paramedics. They had to hike in and carry me out. All I could think of is how horrible it was going to be because Racker would become reactive and act aggressive in the situation. Instead because of his training he stayed in down the whole time. He barked once when they stabilized my leg and I screamed. After they picked me up he calmly let someone lead him out with me. If you are on the fence about training do it!
