Been meaning to write this for a while, since last summer in fact!. Saw the nice reviews on fish n…read morechips and the mention that even though it was not right near the ocean the fish was fresh and the fries great, and that is what we found to be true. They drive in to the fish market a few times a week and bring it into the store. There is a display case for fresh fish and of course they cook it up to order. I got the fisherman platter which included fish and chips, perfectly cooked fried nice and crispy fries, with fried clams and fried scallops. Fries were perfect and came with a nice little coleslaw cup too. Couldn't finish it! My buddy got a baked stuff lobster and that took a few minutes. It was stuffed with scallops! We sat outside at one of two little tables. It was a nice day, very pleasant out and quiet a few locals came in to grab take out. The place is well regarded. The owner's dad was cooking, and his girlfriend Kathy I believe ran the counter and both were super nice to talk to. Told us their story. Everyone has one and it's always nice to hear how people come to do what they are doing. Very small store and other than the 2 tables outside it's take-out. Has a case with some items and T shirts. I almost bought one, but they didn't have any XL today. It's located in a little plaza not far from Attleboro that has the Chartley Country store. It's not near to me but it was a fun drive, a good time and the fried fish is fresh and yummy.

I was researching some places that had sandwiches for lunch today and I'm thrilled I came across…read morethis place and was able to give it a try! Parking is tough but you should be able to find street parking without a long walk. I knew the restaurant was small and was worried we'd have trouble finding a seat because of that. However, we were the only customers in there for a solid 10 minutes when we first arrived. The restaurant itself was adorable! Small but nicely decorated and furnished. I appreciated the stars on the ceiling. The staff were friendly and gave us as much time as we needed with the menu before we ordered at the counter. I had the chicken empanadas and the shrimp poboy. The food came out quickly and was piping hot and fresh. The empanadas were excellent. Great flavor and tasted high quality. I found them to be a little oily but that wasn't anything a napkin couldn't fix. The shrimp was cooked well and I liked the sauce it came with. Their bread was also super soft and tasted freshly baked. Definitely something I'd consider ordering again! Overall, I'd definitely come back to the White Owl and would love to check out more things on the menu.

When we walked in, it was empty - saw that we had to order at the counter, find a seat and the food would be brought out. I had seen numerous reviews praising the corn ribs, so we ordered that along with the chicken empanadas, chicken sando and the beef bulgogi cheesesteak. The corn was good but not as good as I was hoping they would be. The mister enjoyed the beef bulgogi sammy - the chicken was cooked nicely but was missing that oomph. My favorite thing were the empanadas. There is a self service water station. Service was quick and friendly, place was airy and welcoming. We won't rush back but if in the area would like to try other options.

The venue itself felt polished and high-end from the moment we walked in. The meats were definitely the highlight of the evening -- top-tier cuts, well-seasoned, tender, and served fresh off the skewers with incredible flavor. Every selection we tried was juicy, flavorful, and cooked beautifully. You can tell quality is a priority here. The salad bar had a nice variety overall, but since our reservation was at 8 PM for a party of four and the restaurant closed at 9 PM, some items were no longer fully stocked by the time we arrived. Service was also a little slower toward the end of the evening, which seemed understandable given the late reservation and closing time approaching. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant, but I'd strongly suggest booking an earlier reservation to fully enjoy the entire experience, especially the salad bar and full pace of service. Even with that, the food quality, upscale atmosphere, and outstanding meat selections still made for a very enjoyable dining experience.
