Stopped in one Friday evening for date night, was not disappointed. The menu offers a fusion of brunch and dinner options for whatever your craving may be! I personally love this as I am a fan of protein options and love a good breakfast for dinner! The vibe is 100% chicano, full of sick pictures of low riders, a few murals and hanging plants setting the vibe. The staff seem to love their jobs as much as we loved the food. They have a large, varied menu to choose from. I had the Jokers Torta. It was huge, the bread and meat were very tasty. The bottom layer became too soggy to finish. The fries are crisp, no condiments required. The other ladies were very happy with their tacos, and pancake dishes. The service was timely and prices are good. This establishment opened October of 2024. For a restaurant that plans on being open on major holidays or events , they did not plan or coordinate well. For Mother's Day 2025 they did not have enough staff to service their dining room , tables wait uncleaned for 10-15 min after customers paid their bill and left. They did not have a greeter to take your parties information , it was whatever waiter was available which led to parties being told different wait times. On party was told 20 minutes for them to be seated but that was an 1 hour ago. I under stand holidays and special occasion days get busy, but this is where the manager or assistant manger need to be present on the floor and the staff have clear and defined roles on what they are expected to do to have a good services for both the employees and customers. Watched tables get cleaned at 11:45 no one was seat for a while and the host/ hostess was calling names from his list that were no longer here , was not organized or had control of the floor. I am obsessed with this restaurant. It is so clean and inviting. The server and hostess were very polite and friendly. Our server was friendly and very personable. We didn't catch his name but he was the only male server on 3/8/25 @ 12pm! He made sure our table did not need for anything. My son and I had the Noel's Burrito, it reminded me of a Cali Burrito, that burrito was AMAZING! My husband had the Cholo Burger and he demolished that. My daughter had the Grandmas Tacos, she loved it. My youngest son had the Cheeseburger and fries and he loved that as well. We took home the Churro Bites (Get the Mexican Caramel with this) and Churro Cheesecake. This is going to be our new favorite spot! I loved the environment, food and service. I've been wanting to try Chicano Street Kitchen for a while and with my bestie in town, today was the perfect day! The waitress was friendly and attentive, the decor was fun and inviting, especially the murals. I was conflicted whether breakfast or dinner was the way to go, but I chose breakfast and I am so glad I did!! I ordered the Cajeta pancakes because their waffle maker was on the Fritz, and I had a hankering for something sweet. The bananas on the pancakes were fresh and not the least bit brown, the Mexican caramel was literally the best caramel I've ever had, and the pancakes! OMG!! They were griddled and crispy and with all the flavors from the toppings on the pancake was next level, not too sweet and paired with the crispy bacon and over medium eggs, the perfect plate of goodness. Four stars for the friendly staff, three stars for the food, it was ok, not great, not bad. Two stars for the dining room which needs a makeover. One star for the loudness, slow service and of the six TVs only one was working, the rest were on a menu screen. Parking is a short walk away, which is fine. The Latin themed brunch serves breakfast all day. We waited awhile for a table then sat ourselves at the bar which serves the full menu. I collected menus from an empty table and we were ready to order right away. Drinks came quickly and it's always enjoyable to watch bartenders work so the time passed a tad less slowly. It was super loud, too loud to talk and when we spoke to staff who were always nice you had to yell at them and they had to yell back. It took almost an hour for our two breakfast burritos to come out. Really does it take almost an hour to make two breakfast burritos at a breakfast only restaurant? We ordered their mini churros at the end which did come out in a timely way, only they were over cooked and hard, almost burnt. Literally the best Mexican brunch/dinner spot in Jacksonville, NC! Absolutely loved the food and the atmosphere. I've already gone twice and the waitresses are so kind and sweet; the restaurant was definitely a mix with the Plaza de Mariachi restaurant here in Jacksonville and First Watch restaurant which are also my favorite restaurants. For it being a brand new restaurant it feels as if it's been here forever due to the quality and consistency of food and service. read more

The outside is a little confusing because the parking is shared with the Onslow County Sheriff's Office, so you may have to park a little further back in the lot or on the street down the road, if there's a specified parking lot then I apologize because I 100% missed it lol.
