Each location is an individual franchise and the terms as well as prices per location is at the discretion of each franchisee. Furthermore, I had brought my dog here before and he did fine. It's a new location and the facility is clean. That said, I would recommend finding boarding at another location if possible. I had previously made a boarding reservation here for the holiday weekend for my dog. However, with inclement weather approaching, we changed our travel plans due to potential road conditions. I had to pay a deposit equal to half of the cost for stay. When I called, they said due to their policy of it being a holiday weekend, I would have to cancel 1 week in advance. Otherwise, they would keep my deposit. No exceptions. I had planned to drop my dog off Friday night with Tuesday pick up. I had called other franchises and each have their own policy. The other location required only a 50 dollar deposit refundable if cancelled 72 hours in advance. If cancelled within that 72 hour period, the 50 dollars is kept but credited to the owner's account. Compared to other franchises, this makes the cancellation policy at this location much worse. I will not be bringing my dog to this location again in the future.

I let his hair grow for a year before trying them again. I explicitly told them to trim the longer hairs, and shave paw pads. They took the liberty to shave him down AGAIN and also left a shaved patch on his chest. This is absolutely RIDICULOUS. Along with that, their business is closed 2 and a half hours before the posted closing time. I will try again tomorrow to come and complain. This is awful.

I called and they were already closed for the weekend. When they were open I called to talk about the cut and if they were aware it happened at the time. I wasn't looking for money, I was very calm as I had been going to this place for awhile. I wanted to make them aware and ask questions to provide to her vet care. They were rude, defensive and automatically stated they couldn't afford to pay for my problem. They are grooming dogs who move and shake I understand accidents will happen, I wanted to be made aware, and for them to be kind in answering my concerns. I would not trust them to care for my dog.

This is the second I have tried…read more Walking in there is a large fish tank, high ceilings and although the furnishings are old, the facility is well maintained and does not smell of animals. The front desk staff was welcoming upon entry and the wait time was not too long. Scheduling the appointment online was an easy process and there were many available openings. We saw Dr. Nickell. I chose her because I thought she would be the most familiar with Frenchies, as she has a boxer. It was apparent that Dr. Nickell had reviewed the uploaded records prior to meeting with us so that was a plus. We went in for a annual wellness exam and updated heartworm and flea preventative prescriptions. I did not like that I did not see any portion of an exam being conducted. Dr. Nickell felt my dog' abdomen, but then took him to the back for his weight and a heartworm test. I did not see her assess his ears, eyes or teeth and she did not comment on anything besides his weight for prescriptions. He had been on a lower dosage, but would have to be moved up as his weight increased a couple pounds. He needed a heartworm test prior to the new prescription. It was $80, which is on the higher end for a heartworm test. I was told I could wait in the waiting room and someone world come out to tell me the results, but no one did. I asked reception on my own. Overall, Dr. Nickell was not very personable and I did not like that I paid for a wellness exam that I did not see and was not discussed.

But I got home and was annoyed they chopped off the top of her head when I specifically said leave that long. Then I asked to cut the ears short and cropped at an angle. They didn't do that either. I had to cut her ears at home the way I wanted them. Nobody listens anymore, they just do whatever they feel. Not sure if I will be back here.

I was researching vets because I'm new to the area…read more When I sent an email request for information, I got a form letter back indicating they were 3 weeks out scheduling for new patients and there is a $100 charge for all new patients. This would a charge on top of any exam or grooming fee. With a 3 week lead time, I would hate to have a pet that needed urgent care. They probably won't try to work you in, even though you're an established patient. Yes, there may be 24/7 vet facilities but when you have an established relationship with a vet who knows your pets, that's where you want to go first.

Julie always sends a fun email after each visit with pictures of my 2 dogs (1 year old German Shepherd -a handful, and 4 year old lab mix) and an account of how they did. I've been working with them for several months, but today Julie went above and beyond. Loki (Shepherd) had recently had a foot wound with some stitches and was in a cone. Julie found that he had gotten out of his cone and demolished it and had been licking at it. They called me and let me know and even stayed with the dogs as I sped home. I wouldn't use anyone else. They really do care and treat your animals like your own.
