    Misleading sales

We drove 6 hours to find the ac not fixed after he assured me it was, bald back tires and another interior item broke. The sales person seemed nice the the financial person was down right cranky after we waited two hours to see him. Check engine light came on after a long hot ride home. This company took my 17 year old sons entire savings because it was pretty rare truck. We were not treated fairly since they knew about this problem before we drove six hours to get there we got an overpriced vehicle that is having problems less than 24 hours from leaving the dealership

Facebook ad for the Tahoe with a higher price.

I came to this dealer looking for a 2023 Yukon Denali with a 3.0 diesel. On Car Gurus and on the Camp Chevrolet website they had the SUV listed for 68,995. When I show up to see the SUV I meet with a sales person named Travis. I tell him what I'm looking for and says he will check. He comes back and says they don't know where it is. So I asked him to look for it and he basically ignored me. Then went and pulled up another Denali that wasn't the same as what I was looking for so I wasn't really interested and he continued to show us other SUVs. We test drove a couple, again not really what I'm looking for. After a while of me giving him crap about not really looking for the SUV I came for, he said we can drive through the back lot and see if it's back there. We didn't find it of course but he continued to make comments like maybe they would find it. Also said he saw some SUVs in the shop and maybe it was one of those. Even after spending 2 hours at the dealer he still wouldn't go really look for SUV in places I wasn't allowed to go look for the SUV. Also tried to convince me the 2024 Tahoe Z71 had Adaptive Cruise control even though I knew it didn't. I will say he gave us a very fair deal on our trade in and maybe he wasn't showing us the SUV because a boss told him not to. I'm not sure. The next day: He calls me and asks about the Tahoe I wasn't super interested in, told him if he finds the Yukon I was looking for let me know. Later that day I'm on Facebook market place and I see the Yukon. The post said it was listed an hour ago... I can't believe it. So I check to see the dealer, it was posted by Travis at Camp Chevy. But the price has increased 20k... wow. Looks like this isn't a place anybody should be shopping. What a joke. I understand dealers are a business and they need to make money but don't mislead your customers and waste my time.

parts department review:…read more I have no experience with the sales or service departments at Subaru of Spokane, but I am so impressed by the parts department, particularly with David, who saved what had been a stressful and hectic day. I discovered that the previous seller of my preowned Subaru had not provided me with the key for my wheel locks, so my car was at a tire service center (after I had waited in the cold for over an hour before opening for a walk-in spot) and the technicians were unable to install my winter tires. They offered to still exchange the tires if I could somehow find the key or have the locked lug nuts removed. Unlike their competitor the in Valley, who told me "Do not come today, there is no one here to help you," David at Subaru of Spokane listened to my problem and told me on the phone to "Come by, and we'll see how we can help." When I arrived, rushed and stressed, he stepped away from the counter to inspect my wheels, find the matching master key, and facilitate the service department replacing my lug nuts right away. My winter tires were installed the same day, thanks to David, who went above and beyond what I have learned to expect from customer service, and who saved my day.

(I should of just said keep it and left).  I said the floor mats!  He goes I don't think this car has them!!!  All cars have them!  My car I was trading in had like new rubber ones.  He goes how about you just take yours.  I said no they are fit specifically to that car.  Well they will work.  I said no they wont those mats have holes specifically for hooks for that car.  He then said let me go run around the lot and get you some! Signing paper work the finance guy tried to up sale me $100 worth of stuff.  When I said no he tried to argue with me!  Finally leaving the salesman parked my old car next to my new one.  Backed in of course so I couldn't see the hole front of the car again.  Left the parking garage and driving to the Valley my father opened to Jockey box no manual.  I don't know how to use this touch screen stuff!  Got to my father's house and noticed the passenger side rearview mirror was missing a huge chunk of paint down to the metal!  It needs fully replaced!  Then this was the only time I fully had control over the keys.  Great 3 remote start fobs with only 1 key!  Being told that it would come with a spare by the salesman as well.   At this point I feel horrified!  I've never driven a car with a dent and now a new car to me with a rear view mirror that looks horrible let alone if I lock my keys in the car it will cost me a locksmith fee.  Monday morning (as it was a holiday) emailed the salesman with the email going to a generic email explained everything.  Stating needing a spare key and manual and that I never noticed the mirror.  Didn't get anything back the next morning.  Called Tuesday afternoon asked for a manger.  Jessica asked my name what I was calling for put me on hold.  Then transferred me to Patrick O'Neill's Voicemail.  Never got a call back.  Emailed Christopher Sanders General Sales Manager Wednesday also explaining my car inside smells like dog pee and that there is sticky stuff inside the door and not vacuumed under the seats. Never got a response back.  My father called spoke with Tim Wednesdaay he told my father it's sold as is no key or manual and hung up on him.  Thursday my father went in.  Same man in the middle of their lobby almost yelling at my father said cars are sold as is once you pull out.  My father explained we were told it comes with both.  IT'S SOLD AS IS.  He was texting who my father believes was the sales man.  Never mind the expensive broken rearview mirror.  The corporate office is just as horrified by how we have been treated.  All the dealer ship at least needs to do is order and ship me a new key and manual.  I HATE MY CAR BECAUSE OF THIS EXPERIENCE.  They refuse to make things right and even replace my mirror their salesman hid.  GO TO PARKER IN CDA!!!!

During the negotiation process, the first thing I noticed was a "Accessory" charge for $1,500 for ceramic coating the interior/exterior and window tinting on the car I was buying, claiming it was already done. I've never encountered a dealership trying to make the customer pay for work done prior to the sale. After going back and forth and I was about to walk away, they begrudgingly removed the charge. Later, during financing, they tried selling me the same ceramic and window tint package that they had originally claimed was already done. After much back-and-forth, it became clear the work hadn't been done, and I began to feel like I was being misled. Before leaving, I asked the salesman, Kevin, if I misunderstood, and he confirmed that he was told the work was already completed. I tried addressing this issue with Kevin, who barely responded to my texts. After a week of no progress, I finally spoke with Alex, the general manager. He essentially accused me of wanting something for free, even though I explained that I agreed on the car's price because I was told the work had already been done and even came with a 5-year warranty. The owner, Yama(who I personally reached out to)was no better--he dismissed the situation by condescendingly explaining to me that when you buy something, you receive the product. Neither Alex nor the owner would acknowledge that I was lied to about the work that was done to the car. To this day I have not received an apology or even an acknowledgment of what happened. In the end, I paid $500 to have the ceramic coating and window tinting done. I waited over a month, and despite calling almost daily to schedule an appointment I was unsuccessful. I was even told to bring my car in and when I showed up nobody had any idea of me showing up. Finally, after talking to another salesman he was able to make the appointment. This dealership is unprofessional, dishonest, and provides horrible customer service. I would never recommend them to anyone. Avoid this place at all costs!

When those two months came and passed I called asking for an update. after confirming my information I was informed that the person who handled their titles was out of the office. This was the beginning of over a year of calling them and receiving the same run around. He was always out of office. I even asked what hours he would be in and called at the appropriate time only to be told the same spiel. I live an hour and a half away and after six months of getting the run around I went in and all they did was offer to give me fresh temporaries. This was only a bandaid for a wound that needed stitches. Soon after I was able to get in touch with their title person who, I found out, was one of the owners. He gave me more excuses about how there was a hold up with the DOL. I waited patiently for another six months before finally being beyond fed up and filed a complaint with the Washington DOL. I was then pointed towards filing a claim against their dealership bond. It was only after I filed a claim against their dealership bond that they got me my title and plates, two days after they had been contact by the bond. What this tells me is that they had the ability to get me my title and plates before this due to the speed at which they were able to acquire them when they were threatened with financial liability by the bond agency. In the end, I received my title and plates in Feburary of 2026. This was beyond unacceptable. I have never written a bad review but have been so incensed by the entire ordeal that I felt it was my duty to inform others before they make the same mistake I did by doing business with this auto dealership. Believe it or not, this is the spark notes of the entire process I was forced to go through to use the vehicle I had purchased.

Cannot warn you to stay away enough…read more I am now $20k into a $10k car I bought there. Sold me a Subie that they had "done all the work" that needed to be done at 200k miles. Headers, gaskets, etc. Had to take the car back in within a week because it wouldn't shift into gear from park properly. It wouldn't accelerate from a stop appropriately and would just shut itself off while idling at a stop light or sign. They supposedly got it in and said it was a sensor issue and "fixed it". (Remember that for later) Then the car dropped all its oil and seized up within months of it being purchased. They insisted it was my fault. So the "insurance plan" they sold me for another $800 wasn't going to be any good either. (Even if the oil wasn't checked in 3 months' time.... which it WAS... it shouldn't have vanished within a few months of having the engine overhauled). Of course, they offered to replace the engine, if I paid them for it. So, it sat on their lot while I found a REPUTABLE mechanic to look at it. Once I had found the best garage in town for Subarus, they wouldn't even put the car on their trailer to take it to the shop, I had to pay for the tow off their lot. And that sensor issue they "fixed"? The mechanic said all the warning lights I took it back to them to check was because someone did a quick fix by jamming/bypassing the sensor. Literally, the WORST car purchasing (or mechanic) experience I have ever had. Ric (salesperson) was rude and felt comfortable swearing around my wife and son. Should have been my first red flag. I just thought he was trying to be "buddy buddy". Nope, turns out "Skeezy salesperson" is a stereotype for a reason. Stephanie started scolding me on the phone when I called and was upset with the weeks of delay that involved all these issues. YOU MUST AVOID THIS CAR LOT AT ALL COSTS.
