Unfortunately, I have to leave a one-star review. As a hardworking American consumer, I would strongly encourage others to use caution when dealing with this dealership. The lack of communication between the sales managers and associates created an extremely frustrating and unprofessional experience. I spent several days working with two different sales associates, researching vehicles, test driving, and negotiating a deal. After many hours, we finally reached an agreement. I secured financing through my credit union and also purchased a warranty through them, which the sales manager did not seem pleased about. After the deal was finalized, I purchased insurance for the vehicle and began cleaning out my current car in preparation to pick up the new one. Hours later, I received a phone call informing me that the vehicle had been sold to someone else! Once the sale is done, they could care less about you. While one of Lithia Motors (parent company) core values is "Earn Customers For Life" their actions suggest the complete opposite. I had a couple of post sale issues and I could not get one person to call me back; it has been 2 months. I think I called about a dozen times and have still yet to receive a call back. Most of the messages were left for Toni, a sales manager. The only conversations she and I had was pre-sale when they were excited for me to come in and purchase a car. I even contacted the corporate office of Lithia via email to register my concerns and no one would call me. I know we're are all spread thin these days and customer service has generally dropped a notch, but this dealership does not even attempt to do customer service at all. I called to schedule a transmission service for my volt. When I asked for this service, I was told that they don't perform it. Confused, I was then transferred to one of the service managers who told me the volt "does not need the fluid changed, as it is just an electrostatic fluid". Although not a conventional automatic transmission, this is false and if you refer to the recommended service intervals in the manual, it states under normal driving conditions the volt needs an electronic drive unit (transmission) fluid change every 97.5k miles/45.5k miles severe (most people). Being told it doesn't need the service versus that they don't perform it is an alarming difference and I hope they are more knowledgeable about other vehicles they work on. read more

I came to this dealer looking for a 2023 Yukon Denali with a 3.0 diesel. On Car Gurus and on the Camp Chevrolet website they had the SUV listed for 68,995. When I show up to see the SUV I meet with a sales person named Travis. I tell him what I'm looking for and says he will check. He comes back and says they don't know where it is. So I asked him to look for it and he basically ignored me. Then went and pulled up another Denali that wasn't the same as what I was looking for so I wasn't really interested and he continued to show us other SUVs. We test drove a couple, again not really what I'm looking for. After a while of me giving him crap about not really looking for the SUV I came for, he said we can drive through the back lot and see if it's back there. We didn't find it of course but he continued to make comments like maybe they would find it. Also said he saw some SUVs in the shop and maybe it was one of those. Even after spending 2 hours at the dealer he still wouldn't go really look for SUV in places I wasn't allowed to go look for the SUV. Also tried to convince me the 2024 Tahoe Z71 had Adaptive Cruise control even though I knew it didn't. I will say he gave us a very fair deal on our trade in and maybe he wasn't showing us the SUV because a boss told him not to. I'm not sure. The next day: He calls me and asks about the Tahoe I wasn't super interested in, told him if he finds the Yukon I was looking for let me know. Later that day I'm on Facebook market place and I see the Yukon. The post said it was listed an hour ago... I can't believe it. So I check to see the dealer, it was posted by Travis at Camp Chevy. But the price has increased 20k... wow. Looks like this isn't a place anybody should be shopping. What a joke. It was obvious the car was in some kind of accident based on the rocker panel trim and Carfax showed a minor accident, but it was OK, because the interior and powertrain was perfect. Plus it had low miles. My first sign of trouble was the fact the top of the driver's door would leak when it rained or if I went through a car wash. Not just leaked, but poured. Turns out the door was damaged and was never adjusted correctly. Then I noticed every time I went through the carwash, there was missing paint from the horrible paint job, post accident. The right lower rocker panel started disintegrating. After further inspection there were missing parts around the right rear wheel well. None of this would be covered by the extended warrantee I purchased. Lastly, around 8 months ago the LoJack went offline. The service manger alleged I must have unplugged it. However it was clear the LowJack went offline as I was driving. Though I appreciate they made the deal happen, I don't know if the crappy bodywork was pre or post acquisition on their part. read more

The sales team was satisfactory. However, immediately upon leaving the dealership, several warning sensors activated, and cruise control was inoperable. When I contacted the dealership, they directed me to their car care services. After an initial attempt to work with them and experiencing terrible customer service, I decided to return the new vehicle due to the safety issues, which apparently were missed during their 171-point inspection. The dealership refused to honor their 3-day "Love It or Leave It" return policy, claiming I had exceeded the mileage limit. They were aware I live 100 miles away and would need to drive that distance. Furthermore, both the General Manager and the salesperson who sold me the car refused to speak with me in person when I returned the vehicle. Their business practices are terrible--they claim you are "family," but this is false. I strongly do not recommend purchasing from this dealership. Since leaving this review weeks ago, I have had no luck contacting the dealership and the managerial team. Messages left, emails sent and crickets. The customer service at camp Chevrolet spokane is so underwhelming that I can't believe they are in business. He has a great attitude, is super helpful, quick, and friendly. We feel like we made a great choice with our vehicle, and the place we got it from, we're pretty content. We agreed that this experience points up training issues for his staff that he will address. He also shared that Camp Chevrolet is all but a one-price shop. No one, in any of my interactions on this potential transaction, ever said that or anything like it. If they had, a lot of misunderstandings could have been prevented. There is nothing in my review below that was hyperbolic or inaccurate, but I certainly understand that any sales organization can repeatedly miss on a given transaction. I'm please that he wanted to talk, and that he acknowledged my experience and observations. -------------------- Original Review: More of a runaround than most dealerships. I couldn't have been more up-front. I'm a cash buyer from Oregon (no sales tax) who doesn't want to finance, trade, or do the dance. If I buy a car from you, it will be my 46th car. (Not a subtle hint!) I made an offer of $25,000 for a car advertised at $25,614 (a 97.6% of asking price offer). And I was clear that I was happy to pay $150 in doc fees, plus the cost of a transit tag to get the car home. It shouldn't be too hard to say yes or no to that. What's more, the back seat in this less-than-a-year-old car was damaged and needed repair, and I was accepting that as-is. Having made the offer early on a Friday evening, I got a call back at 7:04 PM from the sales guy telling me that he couldn't get an answer because the sales manager had gone home. Uh, OK. I guess they don't do deals on Friday night. The next day, I got a call back late Saturday morning from the sales guy "clarifying" my offer by clearly misrepresenting it back to me- "You're offering $25,800 cash, right?" I pushed back and he feigned that he must have written it down wrong. I asked, "Why would I offer more than you're asking?" So for the "second time," he takes my offer to his manager and then calls me back asking about tax credits up front. At this point my mood deteriorated. I said that I wasn't asking about the cash up front, I wanted to know if they would accept my offer or not- let's establish the price of the vehicle. (Besides, this was a used 2023 EV vehicle, which, as I read the rules, would not qualify for a tax credit in 2024). After more back and forth he "takes it to his sales manager" again. I got a call back from a woman identifying herself as the sales manager but not offering a name, not even a first name. I volunteered up front that I have gone from being in a great mood to being quite upset because I can't get a straight answer to an honest offer. I explained to her that if I bought this car it would be my 46th car and I don't want to do the dance. Once again, she takes the tax rebate approach. And once again, I emphasize, I am not asking about cash up front, I am asking about the cash price for the car. She dances. Very frustrated, I say, "Look, at this point I'm really upset. I'll give you ten seconds to decide whether you want to accept $25,000 for the car." And she says "no." In total exasperation I exclaim, "OK- finally- I've got a straight answer. I don't know why that had to be so hard." It's people like these that give the car business a bad name. With a career in sales and marketing I empathize with the difficulties of dealing with the public. But when a straight shooter shows up and makes a simple and straight offer, is it really so hard to provide a straight answer? For Camp Chevrolet, the answer is yes, this IS too hard. Fantastic service from Ross. I was searching for a car long distance and saw they were getting one in I was looking for. Talked to Ross about it on the phone and coordinated with him to send a video when it came in. He was super prompt at sending several videos once it came in. I am a 6 hour drive away so couldn't just pop over to look. Ross was great and pointing out any potential scratches (it was a used car) but overall was in great shape. Horrible Customer Service It would've been a "1 Star" but I like my vehicle. Camp sold me a "lifetime oil change" warranty for Lithia dealers only. They did this full knowing I was licensing the vehicle out of state and they did not tell me it was "Lithia" dealers only. I called Camp three times and left messages, even on someone's number that I asked to speak to a supervisor. But, not calls came back. They sold me the vehicle and didn't care about me. I wrote to GM and complained and got a call from the dealership manager. He said they'd give me a full refund after I submitted the paperwork. I submitted it and didn't hear anything. 4 weeks later I followed up with an email to the Manager, Devin Meyer. Again, no response... Do you see a pattern here...? A couple weeks later I got a refund for $549 for the "unused" portion of my warranty when the original price was $750. I never used it and they should've never sold it to me. Camp Chevrolet reached out to us to purchase a car we had for sale on auto trader. We ended up selling it to them. We repeatedly asked for a bill of sale and they wouldn't not provide us with that. 7 months later we find out the state shows that the vehicle is still registered to us. We paid a fee to them to have it transferred to them and they didn't do it. We again tried to get to the bottom of this and we've been passed around to so many people and now they're just ghosting us. I'm not sure what to do at this point. Service advisor is great! Really wondering how long some of the techs have been in service. Took my truck in for a certain issue and it was said to be "fixed." Issue came back and they had it for a week (did not get resolved). Requested an oil change when I was in. Not sure if that even happened. I paid for it. No sticker for mileage, did not reset my oil timer on dash. Did not record miles that it went in with and came out with. Considering they put 100+ miles on the truck to try and replicate the issue. They have been have been great when a check engine light has been on but definitely lost a lot of trust in my last visit. Really unfortunate since I have a lifetime warranty. read more

Ok. We have had 2 different times we've needed a dealer to fix our rig so we came into town to Camp. Both times... it was not fixed the first time. It's 45ish minutes into town for us so it's an ordeal to get in to drop off a vehicle. Both times they made a mistake BUT both times we were compensated and we did not pay for making it correct. This is not normal in today's society... too many businesses don't back their work and make the customer happy. Found out something new. Unlike every other mechanic place this one charges you a different diagnostic fee for each problem they find. They found 2 problems and charged 2 diagnostic fees. Every other company I have dealt with charges one even if 2 or 3 problems. Most remove the diagnostic fee if you get work done. Not camp chevrolet...one was considered covered under warranty and the other was not. The non covered warranty issue I will deal with the warranty department. This was for my son's car but I paid the bill...pretty sure they ran one diagnostic so not sure how they are charging for two. Warranty work was 100 deductible and I ended up paying almost 300. I looked closer at the bill and even though Linda said they charge multiple diagnostic fees for each problem...instead she charged the diagnostic fee under the non warranty problem. I heard they get less money for warranty work which might be why they put the fee under non warranty instead of warranty work. I should have never had to pay for diagnostic work since it had to be done for the warranty work read more

I went to Camp Chevrolet to purchase a used vehicle. I always go with a larger dealership (this one being a member of Lithia Corp) when purchasing my new, used vehicle. This gives me the comfort of knowing that I am buying a new car, but it will be properly vetted and reliable. Within a week, I had brought it back in due to a few issues - wiper fluid container busted and not holding fluid, fluid dispenser at window not working, and passenger window not rolling down, cd player broken. All things I felt should have been addressed during the inspection process after they purchase the vehicle from prior location. However, they fixed everything but the stereo at no cost and I was on my way. Within two weeks, I had mechanical issues that were so concerning the vehicle needed to be towed to their partner dealership that deals with Subarus (Subaru of Spokane). They were awesome. They had my car for almost the whole month. They had a number of people look at the vehicle to determine the cause and never did. But there were a ton of codes that were concerning, and the windshield had been replaced improperly after a fairly good accident in its past. When released they felt confident it was safe for me to drive but there were pages of red flags I came away with. Two days later I emailed Camp Chev telling them I wanted to return this vehicle. They were great. Come on in, we are so sorry, let us get you taken care of, we are all aware of your issues when you find a new vehicle so this can go smoothly etc. I missed this in the paperwork because I was so convinced that they were taking that vehicle back, refunding me, and allowing me to make another purchase. After some discussion in the paperwork with remarks like, "look you are getting more than you loan back on return" (I actually put $9000 down so that really doesn't mean anything) and, " we are not putting the taxes on the vehicle" that supported me completely missing that they were actually taking my crummy used Subaru in on trade-in for over $2000 less than what I paid the month previously. I then had to struggle to get my full refund for my warranty. I am fairly certain if I had not been brought up and fought for this, would never have been returned. When asking to talk with the financial folks about this, I received comments like, "Ma'am, I am just trying to explain the way math works for you." I signed the paperwork that says, "buying vehicle as is" and that is what Camp Chev stands behind. So, if your looking for a used vehicle that won't end up in the shop the first week of use, and a dealership that stands behind quality used vehicles, go elsewhere. read more

We arrived to our appointment late but it was no issue and Kody w/ a K was a great laid back sales person. He was very knowledgeable about trucks and my husband really liked talking with him. We originally were looking a used but they showed us that a new truck purchase would actually be close to or possibly more than the 2021 Chev Silverado. Absolutely terrible finance managers. Bought a used vehicle in July, 2024. Finance manager offered the "warranty" for a set amount. He showed us the amount on paper. After all was said and done, he was very sneaky in asking us if we would like other warranties. I asked if it was included in the price and he said yes. The original warranty was around $5k and we ended up being charged close to 10k for the warranties. After a few months, we decided to cancel the warranties. I left voice messages for a finance manger several times, no return call. Had to resort to emailing sales. Finally got a call back. Finance manager was extremely rude. I finally received an email with the proper form to sign and submitted a signed cancellation request on Feb 20th to Camp. After several weeks of no communication, I called the cancellation department. Camp NEVER forwarded the cancellation. I then had to email my own form again to the Lithia cancellation department. It has been nearly two months, i have emailed and called and Lithia has yet to refund our warranty. Buyers beware. read more

I dropped off my 2011 suburban requesting several items be repaired. One item was that the tire sensors kept showing low tires. Requested that they either repair the tires or replace the sensors. Grease job, oil change and rotate the tires. Plus replace or repair the duel exhaust system. In addition Detail the inside and exterior of the vehicle. Contacted the dealership several time to check on the progress and at no time was I advised that the above items had not been repaired. Plus I requested that if any additional items need to be fixed to let me know. Three weeks go by and when I picked up the vehicle the tire sensors were not replaced and the sensors showed low tires. If the vehicle was serviced they neglected to put a sticker on the windshield showing the next service date. I brought this to the technician attention and he had no answer. Plus they claimed they no longer replace or repair muffler systems. Stated that the shop that they use wanted to know how loud I wanted the system to sound! I had discussed this with the service representative when I dropped the vehicle off. I want Camp to get the muffler repaired while they had the vehicle, no matter what. To add insult to poor service, the detailing was poorly done! When I pick up the vehicle I read on the service documents that I have a leak in the breaking system and break fluid is needed! At no time was I advised of any of this information! Went to Les Schwab and they not only repaired the sensors issue they reprogrammed them! Plus there was no charge! Now that's customer service! Took Five minute! UPDATE! Service Manager at Camp Chevy contact me to discuss the service issues I encountered! They made good on all aspects of my complaint! They were very concerned that my service request were not completed as requested. They made it right and that shows character and responsibility! Their website offered a great lease deal on a Chevy Bolt, which I was very interested in. I checked with my partner, who said "go for it" - when I went back to the website and clicked on the deal (same pricing I fell in love with), the "new" pricing popped up - more than double the down payment and double the monthly payment on the website! I repeated my concerns via chat, then text, then by email. Mindy never responded to my email concern after saying "someone will be in touch with you from our sales department". Never happened. Absolute joke for car servicing. I took our Suburban in to get front brakes replaced. They replaced the brakes and they are currently squeaking 10x more than before we brought it in. Next, we needed to replace a tire pressure monitor. They called and said 2 were out and we had them replaced. The next day after picking up the car, the monitor went out. I brought it back in for them to reset and Jared the agent said it was a different one and that we needed to pay for a new one. This is the last time I use them. Bring your car in and something else will go wrong as if they are doing it on purpose to get more work. Again absolute joke. Go to any other local service shop to get better service and I bet even better pricing (especially if you factor in the many times you will need to go in again to get other issues fixed that "randomly pop up"). read more

I can't express how much I will never recommend this company to friends, family, or strangers. I also bought my car here brand new, and this is how they treat their customers. To preface this I have worked on resolving my issues with the body shop since September 30th, where I have had to since let them 'try to fix' their mistakes in the bodywork we paid 2300 out of pocket to have done. Whatever they tell you in regards to having body work completed, don't believe them they're lying. They STILL have my car today, let that sink in as I had originally brought it for repairs September 19th, and it is now November 8th approaching nearly two months of being without my car. I have called management and general management only to be promised the world and have no delivery made on that, they can't even call back when they say they will. Getting my vehicle back the first, 2nd, and 3rd time I found over spray, clear coat drip, damage to the body work they just did that they tried to disguise with touch up paint, and glue on my leather interior! This is a review of Lithia Camp Body, which is part of Camp Chevrolet, at 101 E Montgomery Ave. ~~Summary~~ 1. My car has damage that it did NOT have when it went in. I have my car back and the body work is well done but the new damage that happened while they had my car remains. (Lithia says Spokane Glass did it and Spokane Glass says it's not their fault.) Lithia was responsible for my car at the time it occurred, so my negative feedback goes to Lithia. 2. I was told my car would be ready Monday. On Monday, I was told it would be ready Wednesday. On Wednesday I was told it was not ready! And so on... 3. Customer service is horrible, the info the receptionist gave me was at times incorrect and at times inaccurate. The receptionist does her best to not let you speak to a mechanic even though she often has no answers to your questions. New Damage: -My vehicle windows had no damage. The receptionist (good luck talking to an actual mechanic) told me the windows had to be removed to make the repair, then would be "put back in". Later, she said one of the windows had to be "replaced". I asked why as the windows weren't damaged when the car was brought in. I was told the "glass people" (Spokane Glass) damaged a window and now it needs to be fixed, it would be three more days until the vehicle would be ready to pick-up. [That time frame out to be untrue.] Multiple Delays in Work Completion Date: -I was ON MY WAY to pick up my vehicle (this is after two previous delays in the pick-up date). I called them and was told, "Oh, it's not ready yet"! WHAT?! ME: "What!? I'm on my way, I just spoke to you yesterday and you told me it would be ready today!" THEM: "Oh, sorry, you should not have been told that." Incredible! Of course, they -again- blamed their glass people (Spokane Glass). Unacceptable! -I was told my car would be ready Monday. On Monday, I was told it would be ready Wednesday. On Wednesday I was told it was not ready! I asked to speak to a mechanic working on the car who would know more about the situation. I was put on hold for ages, then told they were too "short staffed" for someone to speak to me. But, I nicely insisted, repeatedly. Eventually, I spoke to someone actually working on my car. He said the car never had a pick-up date of Monday! AND - he had a different explanation than the receptionist as to why the window was being replaced. Conflicting information is always shady to me. Customer Service: -What the receptionist says and what the mechanics say are different. Terrible communication & conflicting information for the customer. -When I called the receptionist could not answer most of my questions about what work was being done, and, she would not find someone who did have answers to my questions. I heard, "Oh, I don't know" WAY too many times for my comfort level. Body Work: -The customer service continued to be terrible. However, the quality of repairs was excellent. End Result: -My once undamaged window remains damaged; Spokane Glass and Lithia are still debating who's at fault. UPDATE: They wouldn't return my calls, so I had to reach out to my insurance company to get the damage caused by Lithia repaired! Forget these turkeys! read more
