Been going to Casey for years. He's honest, does great work and has saved me a lot of money in the past. My favorite story was when I called him to say I was going to buy a really good-looking used car, just to get his opinion. First words out of his mouth when I told him the year, make and model: "Run! Run from that car!". He then gave me a history of what was wrong with the car, mostly electrical problems. I went to the dealer and test drove it anyway and sure enough, several of the glitches Casey said would happen occurred during the test drive. I called North Hill Auto because I wasn't sure where to take my vehicle that was having transmission issues and Casey who works there said he was looking at maybe a week as far as getting it taken care of but we could bring it in. No problem, it's not a vehicle that gets driven as frequently as my other so I didn't mind. Casey called me within 24 hours of bringing my vehicle in, and let me know it was for sure the transmission that needed replaces and the pricing. Awesome! Quoted price was very reasonable. I told him to absolutely go ahead and get started with my car. He was finished with my vehicle in a matter of a few hours. He went above and beyond to assure that I was taken care of. I wasn't able to grab my vehicle right away because I was at work, but he was flexible and helped me with a key pickup area so I could get it when I could. The service was prompt, the communication was excellent, and the pricing is very reasonable. North Hill Auto has definitely earned a new returning customer for any other issues that may arise with my vehicles and I would highly suggest anyone needing any car repair or maintenance to be done. read more

It has been a tough couple of years to get auto repairs scheduled and done. Despite this, Casey always manages to help me out however he possibly can. The combination of quality work and cost at North Hill Auto Repair is so much better than what I typically find on the coast where I live that, when I can, I wait until I'm going to be in Spokane or driving through to somewhere else to have my vehicle worked on here. We have been taking our cars to Casey for 4+ years and he has taken such good care of us. If you're looking for a super cheap oil change--this is not the place to go butte quality of service is well worth the price and if you ever need repairs performed I feel that North Hill Auto has very competitive prices. Plus Casey will be very up front about what works absolutely needs to be done and what is optional. This has been a real plus for us since we have a habit of driving older cars that always have something "wrong" with them but it's not necessarily something that needs fixing right away. Unfortunately whenever we've called North Hill Auto Repair it has been with urgent issues and during "snow tire season" so we haven't actually be able to get an appointment with them yet. We originally planned to use North Hill Auro Repair as our go-to mechanic because of how many great reviews they had and because people had recommended them to us. The reason I'm still giving them 5 stars is because they have always been incredibly kind and helpful on the phone, and if they don't answer right away they have always called back promptly. Who has time to wait for an oil change? They always take longer than originally expected right? Well I had been putting it off and my husband kept telling me I needed to get it done. I had never been to North Hill but heard great things so I figured I'd give it a try. Casey offered to pick my car up, do a full service oil change and bring my car back to my work. How could I pass that up? Before I knew it he was returning my keys just as it was when he picked it up except the oil light was off. No one ever resets the oil sensor because it's extremely difficult so I usually end up calling Honda to walk me through it because I can never remember how to do it. Well one less thing for me to worry about. The price was fantastic, much cheaper than I'm used to paying and immediately I noticed my average mpg start to increase so I know he used quality oil. I brought my vehicle in today due to a loud "chirping " noise I heard while driving. Upon my arrival which I arrive a bit early, my vehicle was promptly looked at. 5 minutes later I'm told there was nothing wrong with it. I was more than pleasantly surprised.
