The one in the pink is the one that was rude.

2024 update. The grounds have a higher rate seemingly every year but that seems to be the trend most places. If you visit for the day ($10.00) and plan to come two more times, just buy the annual pass ($30). The canteen is fun for the kids but draws the younger crowd, the line dancing is automated play and the songs never change. The canteens food and ice cream is great though, always fresh, the staff is always nice. The small beach and large beach are both enjoyable, the pool was closed for a couple of days while we camped here. The putt putt is a disaster. I dont think they have any intentions on putting a dollar into it and I would highly recommend you skip it. People are quiet for the most part during the weekend but Friday night was loud, up till 1am. People cutting through your camp sites all day and night, shinning their flash lights on you, headlights used for light with no consideration. Glass bottles on the beach in the morning. Feces smeared all over the toilet seats. The mens restrooms need updating, immediately. most doors dont lock, they should change the powder coated steel to black core phenolic, it would hold up better to the abuse. Overall, kids have a blast here, plenty to keep them busy but as an adult, I merely tolerate it for them. Perhaps a free or discounted outing at Mystic Creek would make it more of an enjoyable experience but all in all, its okay.

Ask the Community - Camp Dearborn

Is this a state park or a county park?

Neither. It is a property owned and operated by the City of Dearborn. I know, it seems off since it is 30 minutes away from the actual town, but it seems to work.

I can't say enough great things about Indian Creek Campground in Tecumseh, Michigan! From the…read moremoment we arrived, the staff made us feel like part of the family. The grounds are immaculately kept, and you can really tell how much pride and care goes into maintaining the place. Our campsite was spacious, shaded, and just a short walk from the camp store--which was a peaceful spot to sit with a cup of coffee in the morning. The kids loved the playground and jump pad, and the terrainables were a huge hit! There was a real sense of community, especially during the themed activities on Saturday night. Bathrooms were some of the cleanest I've seen at any campground, and the camp store had everything we forgot to pack (plus some great ice cream). We even met the owners, who were walking around chatting with guests--super friendly and clearly passionate about what they do. We've already booked another stay for later this summer. If you're looking for a relaxing, family-friendly place to camp with a real personal touch, Indian Creek is the spot. Can't wait to come back!
