We moved out this way in 18' we went once, had a less than great experience, tried again and then never went again. I heard last year it was owned by someone new. I seen the reviews weren't great on fb, so I just didn't even bother. Here we are 2024 and since two months ago I've gone 5 times. The pizza is great, I love the quality of cheese they use, the sauce is good and the Sandwiches!!!!!! Love them, The little store front is clean and well maintained. It's completely night and day. The inside and dirty boys working behind the counter seemed questionable. And at least one of those times we paid for it. I highly recommend giving them another try. They have wonderful calzones too! Locals love this place but I've found it inconsistent in quality. Sometimes it's overcooked and sometimes it's lacking in toppings. You also have to get past the "grunge " factor of the place, as it always looks like it needs a good two weeks i of vigorous scrubbing to get clean. The cook staff will often be seen without hair under control or gloves. Maybe that's just my preference. As we only have two options for food in Seabeck, both being pizza, we have sworn off. Many will disagree with me on this and that's fine. I just prefer a cleaner environment and cooks that are clean in appearance s well as a flavorful consistently cooked pizza. 2/10 read more

This local spot puts out a pretty solid pepperoni pizza. I didn't take a picture because we dug right in. I thought the crust was tasty and thin, cooked perfectly. There was plenty of pepperoni and cheese and the sauce was tasty well seasoned. The pizza was done on time and the price of $19 for a 16 inch is very competitive with other pizza joints. I've been going to camp union for year. I always keep it simple--one, two topping 24 slice--it's always been good and a crowd pleaser (especially the kids). It's the way to go and I even enjoy having a little left over... I thought I'd previously given a review, but I guess I haven't. Recently, I understand the shop has new owners and I made my usual order. It wasn't great and I was disappointed. It was the same good doe and the same good cheese, pepperoni, etc., however, they burned the entire pizza, bad! I didn't notice until I got it home (about 30 minutes drive later) and we couldn't even eat more then a quarter of the pie. Man, the kids were particularly sad... It's okay though. I'll give the new Camp Union a second chance...I just hope they see this review and know that I'm not hating; just being honest. If you're a local I'm sure this place is great.....maybe your favorite spot but boy is the older man behind the counter rude to out of towners. This pizza place makes amazing yeast levened dough pizza. We just PCSd from Naples Italy, the birthplace of pizza, and this pizza comes really damn close. I really miss going there. This place would get a five star if they hired one of those third-party companies to come in and clean from top to bottom and slapped on a coat of paint... The pizza is a slight step up over Dominos....it is located in a remote area, so being picky with limited choices is foolish. On the front window, the have big letters about their special...Large, 3 toppings for $16.95. Not a bad deal at all. I call, said I want the large with all veggies. No problem...does that include tomatoes and pineapple? Sure, why not? For a total of 7 ingredients vice 3...$39.10...I didn't ask the total price, but figured 2 bucks each for scant additional topping would be about right. This is the third time I have had camp Union pizza since the new owners have taken over and so far Everytime has been bad! I ordered a 16 inch pepperoni and olive pizza the first time and it was wayyy over cooked!(burnt crust) The second time going, my girlfriend and I got subs, (turkey bacon, and the Italian) not only did I found out that they not only have upped the prices on the sandwiches which is expected but they also lowered the amount of meat on the sandwich??? Had only 1 slice of turkey cut in half on the entire sandwich, so was mostly a veggie sandwich more than anything. And then today I ordered 3 fried chicken salads without tomato. They had tomato on there, and even notes saying no tomato... plus what used to be some nice warm fried chicken and fresh bacon was now some cold plain breaded chicken, and the bacon is literal balls of cold meat just put on my salad. Not happy at all with how this place has turned out lately. read more

I would recommend calling ahead of time or ordering online on the weekends. The pizza is decent I usually like the plain cheese or pepperoni and pineapple... don't hate... lol. The crust is good not too thick not thin but they do ale thin crust when asked. Not a vegan establishment or gluten free for that matter but a nice selection of pies, garlic bread and pasta. Prices are good, staff seem presentable and they do in store pick up as well as dining (in/out). Not an extremely big place but roomy enough to eat inside with family or friends. read more

I'm surprised at the reviews for this place. My family has had the pizza from here a number of times over the past couple of years. It seems to do pretty well even though it is out in the sticks. I love the pizza here and will keep coming back. I really like the sauce. The seating inside is minimal, but we usually just carry out. We've served it to friends at our house also, and everyone seems to enjoy it. I will say that I have had some trouble getting someone on the phone to place an order on occasion. read more

So apparently tomato's are an in season or when they feel like adding them to your pizza. I have order twice with tomatoes and was charged for them and did not received them on my pizza. Pizza is ok cheese is light and toppings are on top of the cheese. And because there is so little cheese all the toppings fall off. If Domino's delivered out in Seabeck or any other pizza joint I would not go back. read more

I wish I could give this place more stars, as we have been loyal customers since we moved to the area in 2008. However, the quality (which was so-so to begin with) has nosedived in recent months. The ingredients are clearly the cheapest available, and the crust has become almost inedible. Lately, our order has never been right--how complicated can pizza be??? Most of the employees that were there when we moved here have been replaced with people who clearly don't care about the food nor their customers. Now we are faced with overcoming laziness to make our own pizza, since we won't be making the trek to Camp Union anymore. :( read more

I'll start by saying the pizza here is quite good. The reason for 3 stars is if carrying out, and don't tip you are treated very curtly. If I were eating in I would most definitely have tipped, but tipping should NOT be expected on carryout. The Casear salad was large, but nothing except lettuce, a lake full of dressing, and croutons. No other veggie of any kind, and no parmesan. They need to research casear salad. I would go back for the pizza, as it is not too thick, yet not too thin...just right with lots of toppings. Hope they can resolve the issues, as this could be a real find with the right adjustments (including attitude). read more

Camp Union isn't in Seabeck, it's in Camp Union!! That's about 5 miles away! Anyhoo, Camp Union Pizzeria (not to be confused with Seabeck Pizzaria) is a stand alone joint next to the Camp Union store and a steak house. (like the fourth in the same bldg....I didn't try it...hopefully it's good) That's it. I love Camp Union, but the pizza could be a lot better. We've known this for years...it never changes. You have to ask for extra sauce, or else you end up with a dry ass pizza. The dough is super lame, I make better pizza dough in my sleep! (I do make dough, and it's pretty damn good for an amateur) That being said, the toppings are really good! We look past the shortcomings because there is nothing else close by in this remote area, and we support our few local businesses. But with a little effort, their pizza could be much better. read more

This place has excellent pizza. It's not too thin but also not incredibly thick with plenty of toppings and sauce on it, without being overdone. I also love how along with the traditional sizes, a party size is available. This is the place to go to. read more

Used to be friendly and really tasty; going down hill on quality and certainly on friendliness to customers. Three years ago would have given it a 4 or 5. Topic quantities have gone from generous to barely average. The kicker: Ordered a pizza on 10/25 on the way home from a medical procedure--a large half veggie half meat. Female employee never followed through on the phone order so we arrived 43 minutes later to no order fulfillment. Rather than simply apologize, the owner actually blamed us for calling the wrong place (sorry cell phone records prove otherwise) and female employee lied about having taken the order.
