Thanks, Yelp! Waiting for the ferry to leave I read reviews and then walked over, had two slices of veggie pizza, which were fantastic, with the exact amount of blue cheese that acts as the perfect accent. Never had better pizza.

They were busy - nice to see this on a weekday evening.

Delicious pizza in PA - perfect for an evening vegging out in front of the TV after a full day at Olympic National Park. I found this by looking up local Yelp reviews and as usual, my community did not steer me wrong. Five stars for: * friendly and efficient service: the pizza was ready when they said it would be. * reasonable price: a little over $30 for a large half and half pizza. * nice atmosphere: lots of smiling locals enjoying their pizza by the slice or taking them to go. * convenience: great location at Lincoln and 1st, with plenty of parking on the street plus dedicated spots for Straight patrons. * the pizza, of course! We ordered half Hawaiian barbecue and half bacon pepperoni mushroom - oh my they were both delish! THE verdict: head STRAIGHT there and enjoy a SLICE (or two!) of PIZZA.

I needed a quick meal while driving through Port Angeles so I stopped by the Strait Slice. Due to how nice the day was, doors were open and people were in a great mood, but the place wasn't too crowded, and had plenty of tables for seating. I ordered my pizza and a cookie, and they actually baked my cookie to warm it which was a great touch! They also had a good availability of toppings, and I grabbed the seasoning and red peppers to go atop. My pizza came out well heated and it was overall great! Good crust, flavorful toppings, and one pizza was quite filling for me. The cookie too, warm, chewy and melty but not falling apart! Glad I stopped by!

Highly recommend after a day of hiking! One of the only restaurants open in the area after 3pm. Vegan and non vegan options available. For vegans they make a pizza with vegetables without cheese. Thin crust pizza so it isn't completely filling. 1 pizza can easily be shared between 2-3 people. Being they are the one of the only open restaurants after 5pm, the wait can be long- waited about 40min but was worth the wait. Individual slices also available if you don't want to wait. Street parking.

This place was okay. We were hungry after a day of hiking and needed a family friendly restaurant where we could have dinner with our one year old. We found this place, but they don't have any high chairs. We took our order to go. The staff was nice and the place had a fun vibe. Pros: -Their pizza was decent. Not, "I can't wait to have this again" but there was nothing wrong with it. -They were fast, the pizza was ready pretty quick Cons: -No high chair -No sides! We wanted some sort of garlic bread or something to go with our pizza but that wasn't an option! It was very sad. Overall this is a decent place to stop, but I wouldn't go out of my way for it.

Wowzers. I never thought I would find this kind of quality pizza in Port Angeles. This is east coast style thin crust pizza, hand tossed and oven baked. They sell by the slice and have a number of alcoholic and nonalcoholic beverages to quench your palate. The slices are very large and affordable ... I would say the size of my face! I got the Fine Swine slice which is their meat option... very flavorful, perfectly crunchy/chewy combination, good cheese volume without being overly greasy, not dry, and nice and thin! I also got the side salad which was very fresh and a perfect accompaniment to my pizza slice. They also let my friend substitute mushrooms in her salad since she doesn't like tomatoes. They have limited seating outdoors but there is a small water feature across the street with some bistro tables where we sat and ate... p.s. there is a fudge shop adjacent to the fountain for dessert!

Finally a vegetarian pizza that tastes good! The vibes and the service is great! If you need to use the restroom, there is a key.

Slices are as big as a man's hand.

Prices are a bit high for the area though and I definitely wouldn't get the wings again - they were absolutely tiny with hardly any substantial meat on them. For my pizza, I got a build your own with beef, jalapeños, and onions. It was really good - reminded me of the old school Pizza Hut pizza from back in the day - especially with the thicker crust texture- I really enjoyed it. My only critique is they need to put a bit more sauce on it. Otherwise it was great. I also got a small order of buffalo wings which, as I mentioned, were puny and not worth it - there wasn't even a mouthful of meat on any of them - they were mostly fat and skin. The sauce had a nice flavor at least - but they shook the wings around in the to-go box to coat them and the sauce spilled and leaked absolutely everywhere so that sucked lol. They need to transfer to a fresh box if they're gonna do it like that. What a mess. The restaurant was clean with retro pizza spot vibes. They have some local (and national brand) beers on tap and canned as well. They're a west coast chain with a couple of locations here locally, as well as some in Cali, Idaho, and even Utah. They offer local specials and fundraiser opportunities. Prices here were high for the area and portions imo. The shop was large and can be booked for parties I think. There was plenty of parking and it's in a good location. Overall a solid choice for pizza in the area.

The lady upfront told us we can take a seat anywhere and take our time viewing the menu and we sure did because their menu is quite extensive! Between the three of us we shared: 1) Fried Green Beans, 2) Original Chicken Wings 1/2 dozen, 3) Californian Pizza - Mini, 4) Gordy's Idol - Small, 5) Fettuccine with local smoked salmon. Appetizers came out first and they were amazing, especially with their honey mustard sauce. The fried green beans were all fully coated with batter and had a solid outer crust - super crunchy. The chicken wings were deliciously juicy. Both appetizers were a great start to our meal. The pasta came next. Their house made creamy Alfredo sauce made all the difference and really took the pasta up to the next level. The sauce was light, but flavorful and clung so well to the pasta! The smoked salmon added a hint of saltiness and smokiness to the dish - this was my partner's favorite. It also came with a big slice of garlic bread. It was fluffy, light and of course, garlicky. Not soon after came both pizzas straight from the oven! I ordered my mini Californian without cheese, and I'm so glad they were so accommodating since not every place does cheese-less pizza. The crust was thick and had a really nice crunch to it. Both pizzas were filled with toppings, so they're pretty generous about it. I did not sample the other pizza so I can't speak to that, but we really filled our bellies here and walked out happy and satisfied. The lady who worked the front counter was so nice and friendly, so absolutely nothing to complain about. Decor of the place also had a old, but very cute charm to it.

The calzone wasn't bad but the way they made it there was way too much dough. The border was too much. My recommendation is stuff it with cheese or something else. Service was good, people were kind. One recommendation, when someone comes to drop off food, they should take away the dishes on the table rather than letting them all pile up making it hard to eat at the table.
