The Sweet Like Honey was just poorly put together and very underwhelming, missing 2 of the 3 cheeses (brie, pizza cheese) described on the menu, cut very unevenly the crust is very tough and overcooked. Ordered through the Web site. They use grubhub or DoorDash to deliver, not a fan of that as the person put my food on the ground! (No seal on the boxes) I did not specify that when I ordered online that I wanted a no contact order! (Was on option) We have rats in the neighborhood so I didn't want the food on the ground, plus there was no knock! In fact I had an extra tip to ask who's getting tipped. It's frustrating for me as the buyer because I don't know who I'm tipping, is my tip going towards the delivery person or towards the workers or both? I haven't had Campanna's in many years since the Poulsbo location was open. This experience put a bad taste in my mouth. So if we order it will only be in person! read more

We visited this location a few years ago after finding out that they had repened after closing their restaurant in Poulsbo many years ago. I looked them up and saw they were close to my physical therapist, in fact, nearly across the street. The last time we went years ago, it was good but when I looked at their menu this time, it mentioned that now they make their Tagliatelle Bolognese the Poulsbo way. I was enthused since I thought their's was the best I've ever had, including in Italy. I was not disappointed and it's just like it used to be. The breadsticks with the marinara sauce were cooked just perfectly too. And the house salad with the Basalmic Honey dressing dressing and the Gorgonzola dressing I tried was phenomenal. It was a little cold in the restaurant with the door opening often but I was there for the food, thus the five stars. Thank you Campana for bringing back the Poulsbo way. Fantastic! We dined in. Warning: there are only a few tables. I think most of the business is take out. Anyway, we started with the house and Caesar salad. Both were fresh and tasty. The Caesar had a great tangy dressing. We ordered three 12 inch pies: the vegetariano, Margherita and the green machine. Every pie was amazing. Perfect pairings of ingredients and delicious crust. The owner was there and suggested a bottle of Primitivo Red. Went very well with our pizzas. The stacked ovens reminded me of all the pizza places in NY that I grew up getting slices at. Like I mentioned, the owner was there slinging pies. You can tell he takes great pride in his Italian heritage. If you are anyway through this area I highly recommend! read more

I had eaten at Campana's for decades, but then they retired. Years later the grandson opens it back up. For a while they were like the old Campana's...excellent, but not anymore. I ordered, by phone, two large pizza's for Monday, March 8. Skimpy and thin. One was over done...or possibly a reheat. There was a lot of difference between the two pizzas and was embarrassed to serve them at my granddaughters birthday. The name, 'Campana's', has been degraded. They must be struggling to stay afloat and downgrading their product is what so many do in that situation. There are not many places in Kitsap County that serve a decent pizza. This place does make a pretty good one, not the best possible, as they do some cheapo ingredients (like pesto with peanuts instead of pinenuts) that should not be the case for a premium-priced product. Though I liked their pizza fine (I didn't get a gummy crust like some complained) I am nevertheless not likely to order again, though that does remain to be seen. Our so-called 12 inch pizza had a two-inches-plus wide ring of crust, so really it's a 9 inch pizza supposing you're not a huge fan of ingredientless crust (I'd need a little cup of sauce on the side to dip the crust, or forget it). So, a personal pizza for $30 -- and if two people are eating, $60, plus whatever ad-ons. For the thin crust THEY CHARGE EXTRA so $66 minimum cost. By 2035 this may well be normal for a 9 inch pizza pretending to be 12, but this is 2025 and it's an absurd price for a small a small pizza that barely feeds one person. read more

I got to try Campano's pizza to go and it did not disappoint! I love a good pizza and this is better than that, way better. First off - the bread sticks are amazing. Fluffy and soft with a crunchy crust, everything you'd want in a bread stick. I highly recommend their white sauce for dipping also. Secondly - the pizza. The crust is delicious (mandatory for any decent pizza, right?) big air bubbles on the edges without being overly thick in the middle. Just enough to hold things together without being overly crusty. I tried the pesto pizza and lemme tell ya, I could literally eat it all the time. The ideal blend of sauce, cheese, artichokes, olives. Yum! The others looked equally amazing, I don't think you can go wrong there. Lastly - the big dinner salad was great! I feel like salads get lost as pizza joints sometimes, but this one sure wasn't. A great mix of fresh greens, chunky feta, olives, pepperoni (which, sadly I couldn't eat as a vegetarian but was super easy to skip because they were large slices) and a great, simple dressing. Very fresh, very good. From what I understand this place is a relaunch of an old classic in town - so it's literally in their blood to make great food. I'm sure the service in the restaurant is great as well, but I'll update this review when I get to experience it in all its glory. This place has INCREDIBLE pizza! I'd describe it as flavorful and hearty. They have two sizes 12" and 18". I ordered the 18 and couldn't get past 2 slices. Not that that's a problem, who doesn't love leftover pizza!? We tried the Hot Hawaiian and the spicy Mamma Mia(loved the hot honey on this one). Neither were too spicy, just great tasting! I also tried my bf's cheesesteak sandwich and was amazed how tender the meat. I usually don't like that kinda thing. I'm giving one less star because my mom ordered pasta and bf ordered a sandwich and it came out 20-30 mins after our pizza. We tried to hold off to eat all together but was getting cold so we dug in except for my mom who had to wait because she doesn't eat meat. Also, there was no water brought to us. I asked for a cup for my son and they brought a water bottle and cup. Later I asked for a couple more cups of water and they gave me two cups and one more bottle water. I wasn't paying but I'm assuming they charged for those, so no free water is kinda a bummer. I'll have to bring my own in next time Lastly, we loved the decor of the place! We had some time to spare while heading to a football game yesterday in Bremerton. I remembered that Campana's was right near where we needed to go. The staff was hands down amazing. They were helpful with explaining the menu and what options to pair with what. They all were so talkative and friendly. The girl that rang up our order was so helpful, she recommended the Gorgonzola sauce to dip our bread sticks and pizza in. I tell you it was just as phenomenal as she said it would be! The shop is adorable! There is seating inside and outside, and you can combine tables together for larger parties. My daughter loved the pizza wall and the pepperoni floor as she called it. The decor and theme of the inside was so well though out! My older son got the a slice of the Spicy Mama Mia. He said it was life changing and he will not eat any other pizza. Lol. It was delicious, and you can tell the ingredients and sauce are all fresh and made with love. The flavors are all there and so good! My younger son got the kids cheese pizza. He didn't know what to expect when it came out as it didn't look like a typical kids cheese you would get at other establishments. He took one bite and couldn't stop. He is the pickiest of picky eaters, and said this was the best pizza he had ever had. I got the breadsticks which I didn't even get a picture of because after they came out we did have to leave to head to my sons football game. But I did eat them about 15 min later and devoured the whole box and even shared some with the other parents. Everyone ranted and raved about how delicious they were. The perfect amount of garlic and parmesan, I only wish they had more of a melty cheese like mozzarella and more salt. Other then that they were delicious! Well, I normally don't do reviews unless something is really good or unacceptably bad. Tonight was the later. Orders an 18 inch and fettuccine Alfredo to take out. Husband picked it up and didn't check its quality before he left the restaurant which was a huge mistake, because it was a huge burnt pie. Black on the edges and the bottom. Cheese on the top was hard and dark brown. Daughter's garlic bread was back and burned too. When I called and told them about it, they told me the owner Seth was working, and he acted completely surprised when I told him about the burnt food they let someone pay for and walk out the door. He tried to tell me it's east coast crust. I used to work at a pizza restaurant for years with my ex and sold it at the fair for 20 years. I know burnt pizza. Just a family friendly cozy pizza spot. Has a classic pizzaria type feel - small and quaint and the focus is on high quality pizza. We were recommended the Spicy Mama Mia and man... it was AMAZING! the hot honey was something new to me for pizza and it was the perfect balance of spicy, heat, and sweet all in one. The dough was fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outer edges... This paired with a solid selection of craft/local beers was just what I needed prior to a day out on the island. We were so excited to try this place since we were avid Poulsbo customers years ago. The Alfredo was very delicious and definitely the best thing we got, however the rest was left to be desired. The breadsticks were way too hard and not the way they used to be. And the Pizza while they had good flavor in the toppings, the crust was way too tough, hard, and flavorless. We will be back when we are in the mood for pasta, but we will be going elsewhere for pizza in the future! read more

Campana's was everything I expected and more! We definitely ordered way to much food but it was nice to be able to try a few different things. We tried the margarita pizza, pepperoni rolls, and garlic cheese bread dipped in Gorgonzola dressing. Everything looked and tasted like it should. I'm not a huge fan of margarita pizza, but Ms. Jacqui is and she was impressed with it. She said the crust was a little different then she expected but it is yummy! The pepperoni roll was delicious and I didn't try it until later that night! The staff seemed fun and attentive and I'm happy to have them in the neighborhood. Dad was driving the clan as mom navigated the social media prospects of things to do, see, try in the local Kitsap County 10 miles or so radius for 4/20/24, and C's Pizzeria was offering free slices between 4-4:20pm. We arrived @ 2:50pm, and it appeared to be a calm before the storm (assuming this was surely the neighborhood go to, with the "homey" Open Kitchen, vibe, and super cute decor, as if you were walking into the 50's era cartoon version of this pizzeria, but like Jessica Rabbit cartoon version. My husband pointed down to the floor and asked our son, how many pieces do you think it took him to do this entire floor?! The entire floor is a cheese and pepperoni mosiac, tons of yellow and red pieces of glass. The guy at the cash register says, well you could just as the owner who's cooking, cause he did it himself! Made me wanna salute him with an Italian kiss of the hand, muah. There's a wall dedicated to the family Crest and background which was also cool. But YO! Haven't even got to the food! So apparently you can make any pizza a calzone, and they add ricotta and fresh basil Ollie and top with cheese. 12 or 18 inch. Like wow. Ok so I get the teriyaki pizza, out of my comfort zone actually, but I'm loving the sweet tangy chili sauce sound with chicken and cheese and pineapple etc. and my family all orders individual slices of whatever kind of pizza they want. Slices people... of whatever they want. Not what they had already cooked, or had on special. They received huge slices, cut into two, of 3 very different types of pizza. The pizza is OK, not my favorite. It was very doughy and burnt in some places and way to chewy in others (on the same pizza). What was most disturbing to me is the fact that they use PEANUTS in place of pine nuts or cashews in their pesto sauce. I'm not sure if they do this to save on cost, but for someone who has a deathly allergy to peanuts and has eaten pesto his entire life with NO issue before - I feel they should have advertised that on the menu. After only two bites of his pizza my son in law had a deadly reaction, due to complete lack of disclaimers stating to the fact that their pesto sauce is made with peanuts. If it weren't for the fast actions of our entire family and the hospital staff at St. Michaels, the results could have been extremely tragic! read more
