On trip advisor, The OATH PIZZA was rated best pizza in town. Wanted to see if it was true. Walked in and no one offered any specials. Did not ask me if I was military or a senior. I guess that meant no discounts. For a new customer......give me a reason to come back. "OATH PIZZA" lost me with the price. I was wondering why the place was empty. Almost 40 dollars for 2 very small pepperoni pizzas. They even charge you for original crust. How else do you serve pizza? Do they just throw the topping in a box without bread crust.? They offer vegan pizza that actually tastes quite good. Lots of veggie options and vegan cheese make the pizza pie healthy and delicious. The crusts are vegan. There is even a choice for a gluten-free crust, which is surprisingly just moist enough, foldable, and quite good. Considering most gluten-free items are generally quite dry. They usually fall apart and are tasteless. Not here! That crust is good. Is it worth the $3 upgrade? Yeah! The best thing about the Oath is the customer service and care. Lots of places in Poulsbo were closed for dinner on Mondays. Checked many Yelp reviews, and finally decided to do take out pizza at Oath. It was nice and clean. The people behind the counter were nice and helpful. We ordered cheesy garlic breadsticks and a Bella, their veggie pizza, but I added pepperoni and sausage. Thin crust. We loved it! So, don't expect a loud restaurant overran by young families - it's much quieter than that. The pizzas are very good. I've loved Oath Pizza ever since I tried them in Boston. I was so excited when I saw they were opening one in the PNW. Although Poulsbo is a long drive from me, I've gone here regularly just because I love their pizza so much. It's especially great that they have vegan cheese and vegan toppings. The place itself is clean, bright, and welcoming, although it would be cool if they had more seating for folks who want to eat in. The staff has also been really great every time I've gone in. It's a pizza place. The ingredients are all good, the options are varied and delicious, and the chocolate chunk pizza is a very indulgent treat. I will say to be careful though - if your enjoyment of pizza comes from the tomato sauce, maybe say you want more sauce. They go very light with it, which is a massive benefit to me personally, but I could see people having complaints. The interior looks kind of lame, but it's obviously not a dine in expected place. This is going to be a really good spot to have in Poulsbo. Love that they have kids pizza that are the perfect size. We got 3 kids pizza one for my husband and I to split, and garlicky cheese breadsticks. You can tell the ingredients are fresh and quality. The pizza has such good flavor, the sauce is the best part I think. The crust is really good too, fluffy but not heavy. The garlic cheesy bread was my favorite as you can actually taste garlic, and there was fresh roasted garlic on it. So happy we tried this place! We decided on pizza tonight and we always wanted to try Oath. Immediately started off on the wrong foot for experience due to their website. It says delivery is possible, it asks for your address; but, the site throws up a Invalidate Box and won't take your money. A phone call later, we understand that the Poulsbo branch only does Uber Eats type delivery. So... we were immediately annoyed and drove down for dine in. That is where the redemption experience began. Trust in your senses they say. Well, it was clean in appearance, well lit, the staff were all friendly, the smell was heavenly, and the tables were clean. Became instantly not annoyed. We sat down after ordering and waited for like, four whole minutes before it was served. So not annoyed now, it was intriguing. My wife had the thin crust personal Muffled Trushroom and almost died after the first bite. I think she mumbled, Oh Crap, we're going to be coming here a lot. She said it was easily the best mushroom pizza she'd ever had. I built my own with thin crust, pesto, mozzarella and feta, chicken, roasted tomatoes and garlic, mushrooms, and artichokes. OMG. F-bombs can't describe how amazingly delicious this pizza was. Every bite was exquisite. The crust was chewy and crisp - I mean, How on Earth? It was evenly scattered with ingredients, the border crust was symmetrical all around. It was hot, it folded nicely, it was perfect. I suspect they sprinkled some MSG and cocaine on it. I mean, how could it be so GD good? Eating only half took all my will power but we have a busy night and I didn't want to be waylaid like a Thanksgiving overeater. I am looking forward to second dinner tonight (or Supper if you're a Hobbit). We are sooooo very glad we tried it. I cannot recommend this place enough. I need to get used to a non-gluten and avocado oil based crust I guess as I am not yet a fan in that regard, but I think this place is definitely worth becoming a regular stopping off place for me in the future.
