Beautiful little spot. Good food. LOOOONG wait times for dinner, hour + for even appetizers when there are more than a few tables in the small restaurant. What bothered me was that our waitress looked like they were wearing pajamas. She had on flip-flops, a tank top, and biker/yoga tight shorts and their long hair was down. Didn't seem very professional. Carrying plates of food with hair down is unsafe as hair can easily shed and get onto the plates. Also seemed unsafe to carry plates and glassware (without or without beverages) up and down the stairs in flip-flops. Even at beach bars and restaurants in Mexico etc. the waiters wear closed-toed shoes. We also didn't see her after taking our order; we had to go up to the bar (and a different waitress) to ask for more water and a second round of drinks. read more

It's a beautiful marina with a very friendly staff. It's extremely clean, the restaurant and bar are great, and it has a spa and swimming pool. The pool stays heated to 85°. read more

We went to the cafe (food place) I got the pesto chicken sandwhich is was VERYY goodd could use a LITTLE bit of extra sauce but I really liked it My mom got the pesto burger she said it was really good, very friendly service cute little seating area inside and outside and parking was pretty easy but it wasn't packed when we went so. read more

We heard that the Marina restaurant was gonna have live music on Saturday night. We got there early to get a table and was so happy we did. The restaurant filled up fast!! The musician performed outside on the upper deck. The restaurant has a few outside heaters and even a fireplace. Not sure how often there is live music on Saturday nights during the summer but that's just frosting on the cake because service was great and the pizza was delicious. Our server Tricia was very attentive and handled the entire outside part of the restaurant, she was awesome!! We ordered half an "overboard " and half "chicken bacon". Fresh ingredients and a tender crust. The pizza was big enough to serve four of us and we still had leftovers. They even had desserts- cheesecake and brownie sundaes. We were stuffed! The restaurant offers a variety of beers and wine and even local beer from Port Townsend Brewing Company. The restaurant overlooks the marina and the view is beautiful! Another EPIC weekend at Pleasant Harbor! We just returned from 2 nights at Pleasant Harbor Marina. It was our second weekend trip there in the past 6 weeks. As usual, they did not disappoint. This time, we pretty much had the marina to ourselves, which was a good thing since we had a group of 3 boats celebrating the September birthdays of 3 beautiful ladies. We might have been a bit loud and obnoxious to other boaters. The pizza at the pub was amazing like usual. The grounds were clean and well-maintained and the staff was friendly and helpful. A special shout out to Dave, who last month drove us up to the state park for a hike, then returned to pick us up. This time, he had the fun task of helping me figure out how to pump out my marine holding tank. Dave is a great ambassador of the marina and whatever they are paying him, they should double it. He's a great guy! Thanks PH, we'll see you next Summer! read more

The marina is beautiful - but note - this is JUST A MARINA - NOT A RESORT. Corporate are a bunch of swindlers. They've posted tons of amenities on their website that don't yet exist, and speak of them in the present tense as if you can enjoy them now. Don't trust anything on the website. The amenities sounded great so we brought our 16yo daughter. She was BORED and unhappy. The router kept dropping Internet connection too so it was hard to figure out what to do instead of all the activities promised on the website. Very disappointing visit. read more

This place, hands down, has the best pizza in Washington state! They make their own red sauce and the dough gets nice a bubbly. Located at the marina. The downside is that they are not open Mon-Wed year round, plus Thurs during the winter. Hours are a little wonky too. But, if you like pizza, this is the place for you. We had our two teenage boys and decided to boat over for the weekend. Great little Marina, very clean, nice customer service, wonderful pizza. The only disappointment was that the website was very misleading. It stated there was pickle ball, zip lines, bike trails, etc. None of that existed. When I asked about it, I was told they were trying to get permits to build it. It must have been in the fine print on the website. Luckily they had a pool and hot tub that was well maintained. However, kids are not allowed in the hot tub. read more

We've been here quite a few times over the years, coming in via boat and by automobile. It is nice to have a place to fuel up with all the amenities this place has. The restrooms beat any other dock or park facilities you come across, hands down. The hilarious shirts worn by the staff state: "Work Like A Captain - Party Like A Pirate." That made me laugh, but I tell you what, those servers worked hard, and we partied hard!! The gal waiting on us (Tricia) was absolutely fabulous!! I hadn't thought to chime in on Yelp about the place prior, but the family had such a great experience this last time. Next time we're going to have to boat on in and moor it overnight so we can all boogie into the night. read more

Some coworkers and I were on a work trip and spent a night here in the resort house. After spending a long day out in a cold driving rain, the house was a fantastic place to return to...beautiful furnishings, spacious living areas, warm and cozy bedrooms with lovely private baths, and the softest, most comfortable king bed I've slept in for who knows how long. Like sleeping on a giant warm marshmallow. I slept like a champ and dreamed of Godzilla movies. And the kitchen was super nice--amazing fridge, gas oven and range, big marble counters. There are (at least) 4 private bedrooms...I assume they rent them individually and the kitchen and other living areas are shared. This would be a sweet place to rent out for a big family getaway to this area, nice and close to the Dosewallips River valley and some great boating in Hood Canal or hiking in the eastern Olympics. read more

A great place to bring your boat either for a visit or long term. The facilities are always clean and well kept. There is a pool and hot tub in a beautiful secluded area. The store and cafe has a good selection for its size. Gasoline, diesel and pump out available on the fuel dock. The staff are always really friendly. read more

Our BYC group had such a wonderful time at Pleasant Harbor Marina! Diane and her amazing crew went overboard to be of service to all the boaters. Dock hands were at the ready helping with lines upon arrival, Electric splitters were provided for those that needed them, showers and rest rooms were spotless, as always. The restaurant had delicious coffees, food and Pizza! The pool area was constantly being cleaned by James and the barbecues were immaculate. It was an extraordinary effort on their behalf and was truly appreciated. We all look forward to another annual trip next July! Thank you so much for your hospitality! We had an enjoyable stay at the marina. Lovely setting! Marina staff was very courteous and accondating. Despite the staff shortage, and limited menu,, the restaurant served up amazingly delicious pizza. The pool was a also a great cool down to beat the heat on a hot day. The marina and Diane were excellent hosts for a busy shrimping week. The crew was very friendly and helpful. Without knowing we came to pick up our boat trailer and the office was already closed. Diane reponded to my voicemail and sent someone down to unlock the gate for us so that we could get our trailer. This saved us a four hour round trip and we really appreciated it. Will recommend the marina to all. read more

The only thing that is keeping this from being a 5 star review is that I have only been here twice. Both times, the docks were impeccably clean and all the employees were happy to see us. We went out shrimping and came back with our limit. Then ordered some pizza for lunch. We didn't expect anything grand, but were really surprised. We love this place. The ladies that work here have an amazing memory. They always remember me and my family. When we first started coming here, they made sure we had a slip close to the bathrooms because my wife was 7 months pregnant. Since then, we have been coming back for the opener of shrimp season. Don't go for the food, go for the views. We ordered hamburgers. They were pre made frozen patties with absolutely no flavor. The bun was almost hard. The burgers included tater fries. No, they are not tater tots, they are waffle fries with little seasoning. The views from the rooftop deck are great, but by the time they bring your food to you, it's cold. Go, have a drink, enjoy the views then go to a local bar for food. read more

Pleasant Harbor is in a beautiful location. I have stopped here a couple of times on my way to Alderbrook Resort. I am only giving it two stars because you cannot get wifi in the marina. When I contacted the staff they said they are working on getting a better signal. It is unfortunate that they do not provide this for their guests. I won't be stopping here again, I do like to check work email. Port Ludlow and Alderbrook Resort both offer wifi for their boating guests. read more

The place is clean and somewhat friendly. Food is all pre frozen and gross which surprises me since they spent a lot of money on the new build out pizza is ok. Everything closes way to early. Pool, restaurant, bar, store etc. I would say this is not a very kid friendly place if you have kids alderbrook resort is very nice. Very beautiful natural harbor would give this place more stars but food, service, and management need help to make this place more of a destination resort that caters to the customers more, there are way to many rules to follow. read more
