We first contacted Jim to repair a 30 year old oak sofa table that had a bad water stain and cracked top. After his repair it looked brand new. We were so impressed we asked him to build a king size bed. We wanted a style to match our existing bedroom furniture. After researching various designs we told him what we wanted and he drew up three plans. He not only took our ideas into consideration but offered suggestions of his own and was respectful to our overall design concept. We visited his shop a number of times during the construction process to ensure we were on the same page and at those times we still tweaked the final design. Jim also created a customized stain to match the existing bedroom furniture which shows how he goes above and beyond. He is detail oriented and meticulous in design, construction, and communication. Upon delivery he and a helper took the time to assemble the bed properly. We can not be more pleased with the bed and Jim's craftsmanship. He is truly a master woodworker which is rarely seen anymore. Highly recommended!

Tremendous value vs. new cabinets providing upgrade we were seeking. Efficient process, responsive to inquiries, and high-quality craftmanship all at a reasonable price. I highly recommend Kammes Colorworks for any cabinet project.

Once we did they got back with a quote and told us we had to put X amount down to hold our spot. They were booked out 6+ months out. We sent over the deposit and we were happy to wait. The cost of painting the cabinets was 30% of what it was to get new LOW END cabinets. Combine that savings with this company's 5 star reviews, we were happy to wait our turn for them. It's a good sign when they have a waiting list.   The attention to detail that Lenny's sister has while painting and caulking- it shows they take true pride in their work. When she would leave at the end of the day, she would wrap all her stuff up and leave the kitchen as nice as she could (all things considered). She understood we have 3 small kids (2yo,3yo,4yo) so we needed the kitchen accessible when they left. She made sure we could use it after they were gone for the day. The end product (as you can see from the photos) is beautiful. It looks even better in person! Would highly recommend them to anyone looking to have cabinets refinished.   One heads up-They do everything via email so that was a tad different. I guess I assumed they'd need to see the kitchen in person not just pictures to get a proper quote. But when they came in the first day, the amount due never changed. No hidden fees. Lenny does a great job sending a DETAILED email with timelines etc. That was very helpful. If you need them VIA phone, you can always email Lenny and he will call you. Very warm family owner business, made you comfortable to have them in your home!

I was looking for a unique home office installation that could function as a workspace while also housing my library of music, photo albums, and books. I also had some specific wish list items such as a "hiding" bourbon nook. While the functionality of the piece was crucial, I would dare to say the aesthetic was even more important to me. My hope was that the space would be so inviting and inspiring that even after I'd hang up ye ole' work hat, that I'd still want to linger in the room to unwind with a good book, some good tunes (and maybe a tumbler of good bourbon too...). I've dropped in some photos of the finished product as well as my original crappy doodle of what I was looking for and will try to upload a few photos once I get everything settled. Graham and his small but mighty team were amazing to work with from start to finish. Graham was highly collaborative and offered phenomenal suggestions. My favorite was his suggestion to situate the bookshelves above the desk at an angle. This provided more of an ample workspace and also added to the artistic flare of the piece. I plan on hanging up a canvas print in between the bookshelves, so the orientation of the shelves will also guide the eye to the print. Because Willson Woodworking is pretty much a one person show, it took a few months from when I gave the green light to when the finished product was installed. However, Graham and team were upfront from the beginning about how many projects were queued up prior to mine. It is beyond worth it to have a one-of-a-kind piece that is of the highest quality rather than something that is mass produced and can be found in every other home. One other note on value: I did reach out to two other contractors about the project before deciding on Willson Woodworking. One was a local handyman, and one was a closet solutions company. All three quotes came in at roughly the same price. I think this speaks volumes about just how reasonable Willson Woodworking was in terms of pricing. This was definitely an investment regardless of which contractor I chose, but there was no comparison between the three in terms of the finished product. Shout out to Kevin, who professionally painted the shelves (regent blue). Like Graham, Kevin was kind enough to stop by my house and talk through thoughts on color choices. Plus, he helped Graham install the finished product! Another shout out to Raychel, who coordinated the administrative components of the project. Full disclosure: I'll be posting this same review on other platforms as I want to be sure to champion this local vendor!

We get so many compliments on the craftsmanship, attention to detail, and how amazing everything turned out. The projects all came out on time (even early in some cases) and on budget!!! They are so creative and crafty I couldn't be happier with any of it! They are doing our laundry room next, then our master bathroom, insulating our 3rd garage stall, and then helping us update our exterior! There isn't a project to large or to small they can do it all! Call today you will not be disappointed!

These guys were fantastic. Special KUDOS go out to James & Sal as they were the primary team of guys on our job. They sweat the small details that most people would not even notice. Once completed, all of the areas look fantastic. They were on time each day that they were working on our projects, they cleaned up at the end of each day and were actually fun to be around. Our only issue with them on the kitchen project was with the can lights that were installed. We were not asked our opinion on size or placement before installation. Even with that, I would not hesitate to use them again on any future projects that we may decide to tackle.
