Boneless Wings, Twister + $.89 worth of Celery add on
    Marquie J.

Our bartender was lovely. Super kind, somewhat attentive. We ordered two sets of wings, it took 35 minutes to receive our food and we saw multiple other tables order after and receive their food. I enjoyed the wings. Voodoo is everything you would want in a savory dry rub. Twister was interesting- an italian/parmesan dry rub with a dash of tabasco; my partner disliked it but I loved it. Unique. It was only $12 an order on Wednesday, which was tolerable. At the full $17 this would be an absolute joke. Ranch was also mundane bottled and I got less than one stick of celery for my $.89 up charge to add it. They had adorable mini booths. The place was small, borderline cramped but not quite there yet. Charming. I would come back to try the pasta but the sizes of the dishes weren't impressive. This isn't a bad place- it's just absolutely average for above average prices.

Just finally tried this little gem of a spot. The food was amazing. Service is top notch and friendly. The Ambiance is fun, sporty and a good laugh. I highly recommend this for a fun family or date night. Great food or happy hour specials. We got the breakfast pizza made of cauliflower crust!. Amazing.

We went out to Campanelle with some friends for a night of conversation and great food. It was a Thursday evening, and the place wasn't too packed at 5pm. This was our first time trying it, and we're glad we stopped in! Rachel was our waitress. She did a fantastic job; she was extremely friendly and made sure we were topped with drinks and good with food. We started with a couple of appetizers, the pickle fries and fried meatballs. The apps were amazing! All of us had a little something different for food. The baked pasta was incredible. The Supreme Italian had a little kick, plenty of meat and flavor, and filling. Their seas salt fries were a great side that complemented the pasta. We would definitely visit here again... and again! Great food, great place, and incredible staff. Thank you, Campanelle!!

My dinner last night was super sad. The staff was friendly, and I got a to go order to being back to my hotel. Roast beef sandwich and the chips/dip appetizer. The sandwich was edible, but super dry with no condiments. The pepperoncinis gave it enough moisture to go down my throat, but not super enjoyable overall. The chips/dip however was unedible. I think there was as much salt as there were potatoes by weight. I tried digging through the chips to see if maybe the first couple just got too much salt somehow, but I couldn't find any that were edible so I just threw all of it away.

We had dinner here tonight. They have pasta, sandwiches and salads. We'll all tried the pasta dishes. I had the cheesy one, others had chicken and pineapple and meatball pasta. Everything was very tasty. We tried our hand at some pull tabs. Won a little but then of course donated it all. Fun place stop by and give it a try.

We went here for lunch today. Been wanting to try this place for a while now and did today. It is a nice place, not fancy but inviting. We ordered Meatball skillet, Pineapple Chicken skillet and Lemon Chicken skillet. Everything was very good. Each skillet had their own noodles in a cheesy sauce with the topping and cheese on that. Then put under broiler to crisp and melt the cheese. There are daily specials which is nice. We hope to try it again sometime soon.

Immediately when we walked in, we talked to the owner, Kent, who told us all about this fabulous small business. He was out in the restaurant talking with guests and checking on theme the entire time. Their Campanelle noodles are made daily in house. Gluten free cauliflower crust was highly recommended so will be my next order. Cheese sauce is made daily with cheese they shred themselves to ensure it melts correctly. I ordered the GF BBQ pasta skillet with the pulled pork. I tend to shy away from pulled pork unless they have a good reputation for it... it's usually either grisly or not flavorful. This pulled pork was delicious and stood up to the rich cheese sauce/BBQ sauce and onions/pickles. Yes... pickles in a pasta bake. Never would have thought to try it but it was almost like a rich cheesy pulled pork sandwich (a little light in the pork but I didn't miss it really). The BBQ was perfect - not too sweet but rich and flavorful to perfectly compliment the pasta. My husband ordered the Chicago dogs which is his favorite thing to eat when out even though it's hard to find a truly great one. He said that it was hands down better than Portillos and a really good dog that you don't have to trek to Mpls or St Paul to get. The kids got chicken fingers with tots and the baked Mac and cheese. I can't trust their account of their food since they love Kraft over homemade but my husband stated the tots were amazing with the cheese sauce (made in house) and the Mac and cheese bake was phenomenal. I definitely recommend giving this local small business a shot to support a local business owner. He and his two sons both work in the restaurant and clearly love what they do. Thank you Kent for a great experience and spending time chatting with us!

The volume was a little loud for a family conversation, especially with Grandma and her hearing aids, but food and service were great. We got the steak bites and cheese curds to start. Everything arrived hot and fresh, incredibly fast for how busy the place was. The steak had a kick but was delicious, and the cheese curds super light. I snagged the sunny sliders as a risk and was not disappointed. I haven't seen these on the menu anywhere else and loved the combo of the Hawaiian roll, crispy sunnies and the sauce. I would love to go back for more. My mom got something new and didn't love it. She didn't complain, it just wasn't what she expected. Our server noticed and asked about it, and when she realized mom didn't like it and didn't eat it, she took it off our bill without being asked. This was above and beyond what was expected! It certainly wasn't the restaurant's fault she didn't like it, and them taking that step of service in the moment, especially on a busy day went a long way with me. I will for sure be back to visit next time I'm home!

The service was extremely friendly, professional, and competent. All of the waitstaff were hard working and very attentive. Our waitress can around often to bring pop refills and to check on us. The food was typical sports bar faire, but well done. We did not go for the July Bloody Mary of the month ($30!) (see photos), which came with more food than a full day's outing at the Minnesota State Fair. Instead, my wife had been and the Jumbo Bacon Cheddar Chive Tots ($13), which were filling and tasty. The tots were stuffed with bacon, cheddar cheese and chive, and served with aioli. I had the Traditional Bone-in Wings ($16.50) with two sauces - sweet chili, and sticky garlic gochujang. Although both were flavorful, my personal preference was for the sweet chili. All of the wings were juicy and cooked well. I also upgraded to a very large portion of beer battered fries, which were shoe-strong fries. They were cooked well - not greasy or overcooked and very tasty. Overall, it was a very enjoyable meal.

We grabbed seats at the bar and were attended to almost immediately. The bartenders were fantastic and probably one of the highlights of our visit. They checked in with us regularly, made sure our drinks were good, and followed up after our food arrived. Even with the post-game crowd, the service was attentive and our food came out pretty quickly. We started with the nachos and added carne asada. While they were good, I thought they were a little overpriced for the amount of carne asada we actually received. I would have loved a more generous portion of meat, especially for the price. For my meal, I ordered the chicken Caesar salad, which I enjoyed much more. It came with a generous amount of chicken and lettuce, but my favorite part was the cornbread croutons! They were such a fun and unexpected twist on a traditional Caesar salad and definitely made the dish more memorable. The space itself is HUGE, with tons of seating and screens everywhere you look, plus an outdoor area. It's also conveniently located and very walkable from other parts of downtown Minneapolis, making it an easy option before or after a sporting event. Overall, I'd definitely come back to try some other dishes or watch a game. Prices are a little on the higher side, so that's something I'd keep in mind, but the quick food service, incredibly attentive bartenders, and game-day atmosphere made for a good first visit.

The pros: portion sizes are huge, chicken tasted good The cons: waiter did not stop by the table once, my water was empty within the first 10 min of sitting there and i had to take my cup physically up to the counter to get water from them because i was so thirsty. I didnt see him once after that, he just stood up at the counter talking to the other server. The pasta was oily, they put so much cheese on everything that the oils from the cheese come out and my pasta literally had a layer of oil all around the plate. The mozzerella was also so oily that the garlic bread was just soggy 5 min after the waiter put the plate down. For lunch, I ordered the Chicken Marsala. You get to choose a side; options ranging from Alfredo Fettuccine to Green Beans to Mashed Potatoes to Spaghetti Marinara. I went for the Spaghetti. The meal also came with two breadsticks. Overall, the dish was decent but not remarkable. The highlight was the mushrooms in the Marsala wine sauce. They were flavorful and well prepared. The chicken itself was just okay. Without the sauce, it lacked seasoning, and the texture varied throughout the breast, with some parts tender and others noticeably tough or chewy. The spaghetti was good, though comparable to standard spaghetti you might find anywhere. The breadsticks, however, were disappointing; they were extremely hard and not enjoyable to eat. I also wish the Chicken Marsala and the spaghetti were packaged separately. Because of the amount of sauce, everything blended together in the container. I don't mind my food touching, but separating the items would make for a better presentation and texture. I do think other menu items may have more to offer. One mediocre experience isn't enough for me to write off the restaurant entirely, so I would consider trying something else in the future. However, I wouldn't recommend this particular dish based on today's order. Overall rating: 3/5.
