    Asada & chicken nachos

This was a cool little spot. We happened to be staying in town for the Prince Celebration and wanted a quick bite. We were staying at Embassy Suites across the street and decided to grab a bite here. They were showing the Live Island show and we grabbed some quick bites and drinks. Service was 5 star and food was good too. I definitely recommend this spot.

I love this place! They are always playing throwback music which is such a vibe. Their cheese curds are amazing and they come with marinara and ranch. Their chicken nachos are SO filling, I shared with my bf and we still struggled to finish. So many large screens to watch sport games.

Stopped by here to get a bite to eat for an early lunch. I have been to Tom's in California before, but it's been years since I've eaten here. I got there as soon as they opened, so I pretty much had the entire establishment to myself. I went with the Famous Prime Rib Dip sandwich with Tater Tots. What a fantastic choice. The sandwich was absolutely amazing and flavorful. The horseradish cream, Harvarti cheese, and the Demi-Glace made this sandwich on point. I must admit that I had a bit of nostalgia when I ate tater tots. I think the last time I had tater tots, I was in elementary school. Never been a fan of them, but these were actually pretty good. They had just the right amount of crunch, and they weren't mushy. You all should certainly go check them out, and when you do, tell 'em Drew sent ya! Y'all be easy! Drew

You need to ask to sit in Cecellia's section. Even on a busy Sunday, her prompt service getting us our drinks and food, along with her fun energetic chatty vibe, made for a great GameDay experience. The Calamari was lightly battered, with lemon, garlic aïoli and parsley cooked perfectly and tasted great! The DEEP-DISH ADOBO CHICKEN NACHOS has layers of tortilla chips, flavorful adobo chicken, southwest queso, pico de gallo, jalapeños, guacamole, and sour cream, which my friend bragged about. The cocktails were very tasty as well. So many TVs to watch all the sports action, and sports simulators (golf, hockey, etc) to keep everybody entertained. Tell Cecelia @JDMinneapolis sent you, and get ready for a fun time!

Fun and energetic place. Good spot for watching games and events with great service, a full bar, and pretty good food. Ordered the corn pancake and chicken tenders. The food was prepared well but I would have liked a little more to the dish. Corn pancake had no grit or pieces of corn. Chicken was good but still needed a sauce. I asked for ranch and hot sauce. And a garnish or some color would have been a nice touch to make the plate more visually appealing. The service was great when I stopped in for happy hour on a weeknight, possibly because it was still pretty empty. All the TVs were on with different options so people could focus on what they found interesting. The music was vibrant but not too loud so it was still possible to have a conversation.

I've heard decent things about Tom's watch bar. Was in the area for a play and decided to check it out. It was not busy when walked it but as time went on it got packed as they seated everyone on the same side of the restaurants. Tables were packed super tight imo. Once it got busier it was so loud, and it felt a bit overstimulating/overwhelming being in the middle of so many conversations happening over the loudness. They don't have any happy hour specials, and they are cashless. They do have that 4% or whatever charge for health or something included into your bill - still need tip. We ordered potstickers from the appetizers - they were just okay - a little slimy & the wrapper was thick - which is mostly what you tasted - like a noodle. The waiter took so long being appetizer plates that they would have been cold if we waited any longer to eat them. We ordered drinks as well, they don't tell you the price of the drinks but use dollar signs to show when they are more expensive I guess. Most drinks were $13.99. We also ordered entrees. My mom got the chicken club sandwich with tots, she said it was good but not worth the price. I got the impossible burger... which is mostly where my 1 star is rooted from. I'm not vegan but don't eat beef/pork. When I'm sick of chicken I go for veggie/impossible burgers. Again for the price they did nothing & I mean nothing to this burger. Just a patty, stale bun, lettuce, tomato & onion. I asked for ketchup & mayo on the side. Some restaurants char grill it, season it or something. Or serve it with a house sauce or something. The BUN. The bun was not fresh at all. When they put it down I could see the cracks on top and when I picked it up it completely crumbled. The bottom of the bun has a weird texture and was so stale and funny tasting with the burger also being so bare that I couldn't even eat it. Along with the service... our forks were taken with the appetizer plate so didn't get the chance to even request a new one to try to just eat the patty with the ketchup and mayo. That set the tone for me. I cannot trust any of the food is good enough to come back + the prices. The bill came to $170 for 5 drinks, 1 app, 2 entrees (in which 1 was inedible) + tax + health fee + tip. Most disappointing meal ever.

We just happened to stop by on a Friday night. We sat at the bar. It wasn't a really busy night and there were no games in town. There was a Lynx away game, Vikings pre season game and several baseball games playing. We had already eaten but the food looked good and I would be interested in going back and trying some. I was going to just order a water while my husband had a beer but a pineapple ginger mocktail caught my attention so I ordered that. I would give 5 stars just for that. It was delicious. I'd be interested in seeing this place with a big game on. Everyone was cheering for their teams and it was fun.

Stopped in for a quick drink as we are in the area for the weekend. Upon walking in we were greeted by the hostess and taken through a tight maze of filled tables to our table. We waiting a bit for a server to come over to us and take drink orders. I would say the table layout is packed really close together and makes it tough to navigate on the side of the bar we were at. Luckily they have a 9pm-close happy hour on drinks and appetizers. We I ordered their strawberry mint spritzer mocktail and it was delicious. The mint definitely could've been muddled slightly more though. My boyfriend ordered a voodoo ranger which is usually his go to beer. We opted for a small order of buffalo wings as the happy hour pricing was $7. We got about 6 wings that were very wonky looking in size but super spicy and were pretty good. The biggest complaint I had is they definitely appeared to be understaffed and we ended up having to get up and go get silverware and napkins from a nearby table. About maybe 15-20minutes after our food came out our server finally reappeared asking if we needed plates and napkins. We already ate our food as we didn't want to let it get cold. However a good local spot for watching any sports games and the food seems to be typical bar food and the drinks are good.

A fun vibe if you're going there in a big game day, but it really packs out and can be hard to get in. Still, the service was pretty quick and the workers do a lot to keep the energy up! Overall the food was solid, pretty much your typical bar food and the drinks were big! I would definitely come here again for a fun game day vibe!

We came on a Wednesday evening and it was packed! Of course this is the place to watch any sports game. They have many televisions around the whole establishment with different games on. The drinks were a bit high priced. This is a more upscale sports bar.

Good location that's about it, poor service slowly declining over the years and the most flavorless place in all Minneapolis

It's like you've walked inside a newspaper…read more You also really have to visit the bathroom and check out the mirrors and the newspaper wall decor in there. I won't say more because it will spoil the surprise. They really just went all out with the newspaper theme, table tops, walls, menus, etc. It was surprisingly not crowded for dinner time. The service was quick, the server was friendly and attentive, and our meals were delightful. We got the brie curds and wow, I think these were the most amazing curds I've ever had. I could have just had a pile of them as my meal, but that didn't really seem wise. They come with a blueberry 'ketchup' which was more like a jam but really made the dish! My meal was the mushroom gorgonzola penne which was cooked just right and had piles of mushrooms, and yes, more cheese. This place was a lot of fun. I highly recommend it if you get a chance.

She had a personality of a Styrofoam cup filled with distilled water. She never asked if I wanted anything else when I was done eating (like dessert). There was no conversation or engagement. I was bored. I left. I'd go back I suppose since the food was good, but at a bar, the bartender should at least have a personality?
